I watch as the mutt is pulled away from my leg he is thrown against the tree and he lets out a painful cry. I look at Alaric he was breathing heavily he has blood all over his face but he didn't have a disgusted look his shirt was ripped. He has a dangerous look on his eyes.

He pulls me up from the floor and I let out a whimper I put more pressure on my leg that isn't injured. I gasp as I look at Alaric."Alaric w-what happened to you." He looks at me"I'm not Alaric I'm vlad my dear human mate." He grips on me and all of sudden all I see is vlad far away from me i was flying in the air until i hit the hard ground.

I wince in pain as I felt the mutt pull me by the hair I let out a scream of pain as I search for vlad I look at him as he was being held down."What the matter vlad you have gotten a soft spot for this human of yours? Tsk I'm unhappy maybe I should just kill her and let you  turn her" He said.

I shook my head "noo vlad let him kill me,you can always find a beautiful mate... don't let him get to you whatever he does you better not go crazy and just walk away. Don't turn me." I said as tears were rolling down my cheeks. I feel him tighten his hold on me.

I watch as vlad was thrashing he gets off the ground but he was to late my eyes widen when the mutt bite down hard on my neck. I felt blood oozing out I took my last breath as the darkness takes me.

                                January 1,2018

The first thing that I noticed was when I woke up was that I was alive. I was breathing normally I look around me but I wasn't in a hospital room I didn't have tubes or needles. I carefully lifted my arm but I didn't felt pain. I sit up slowly and I look down at my leg.

I touch the little scars I have from when I was bitten by the mutt. I flinched when I heard loud laughing coming from downstairs? I froze how can I hear the people laughing from downstairs that not possible for a human. I also hear the sound of birds and animals from miles away.

Alaric didn't change me? Maybe I didn't die I stood up and I walked towards the mirror I touch my skin "very pale." I shook my head I look down at my body and my eyes widen my boobs is more bigger than before I turn my body around to see my butt and I lifted my shirt to see my curve tone body.

For some unknown reason I was angry and hungry but mostly angry. In a flash I was in front of the door I paused and I look to the bathroom and I walk out. I storm downstairs and that when I smell the most delicious smell ever I followed it and I turn my direction I went upstairs and before I knew it I was opening his door.

I look at him his hair was back to normal and he
look at him and he just waved at me. And in a flash I was next to him"you turned me into a vampire!" I scream and he just nod I watch him sit down on the chair." I couldn't let you die Rose" and I hiss at him."you are so stupid Alaric I don't understand you sometimes."

He looks at me "no rose you are stupid for telling Samantha that you were leaving you think I wouldn't have force her into telling me." I walk up to him."how dare you Alaric she is pregnant! You need to learn how to mind your own damn business and stay away from me." I yell at him.

He lets out a chuckle " I don't think you know how the mate bond works my sweet little mate." He stood up from his seat and he gently touches my cheeks and I felt the powerful shocks hitting me. I let out a shaky smile "you see once every 4 months when the red moon comes a woman vampire who has found her mate will go into heat."

"Why are you telling me this?" I said as me and him got closer to each other I felt his arms wrap around me"when you have your heat you get horny and your body will start craving for my touch the heat helps the mate process grow stronger... today is January the first it already has hit 4 months tonight you will go into heat."

He said and he hugs me which takes me by surprise "don't you ever try to leave again my little mate i need you in my life." He said I was shocked to hear how vulnerable he sounds I pull away and I cup his face and I nod "but you aren't forgiven." He nods." What are you doing?" I said as he took of his shirt and he sit down on the chair.

" Rose I know you're hungry my blood will fill you up." I shook my head I'm not going to suck his blood I look as he tilted his head and he gave me full view of his neck. My mouth is dried as I lick my lips I had a image of me drinking him. I slowly walk up to him.

"I don't want to hurt you." I said as I felt the sharp fangs coming out. He reaches for my hand and pulls me to him, I sat on him and  I look at his eyes and at his neck I felt this pull that was telling me to do it." I'm sorry." I said as I bite into him the smell of fresh and sweet blood was making it way down my throat.

I grip on to his back wanting more and more but I stop myself. I look at him as my fangs were going away my thirst for blood wasn't there no more. "You can get off now." I felt a pang in my heart when he said this too me. I got off him "Rose I moved all of your stuff to my room."

I look at him and I turn my head away I walk downstairs to his room and i whimper."does he not want me?" I said out loud "don't think like that Rose" I look around me and I felt stupid because it was the other part of me my vampire side."What is your name?" I asked her.

"Scarlet." She tells me as I felt her go to the back of my mind. I lay down on the bed and I curl myself into a ball.
