I woke up at 4:30 am in the morning I stretched my arms, I stood up and I made my way to the bathroom I brush my teeth and I also tie my hair. The pack was still sleeping as i made my way out the door. I walk carefully downstairs and out the door.

I see John sitting on the bench when he sees me he gets up I look at the duffel bag."this has everything you need it was difficult for me to get it but I somehow managed." I nod and I thanked him he gives me a hug."Samantha couldn't come to say goodbye but the hug was from her and from me."

I nod I watch as he opens the door and close it I look at the woods and I took a deep breath this will be the last time I see this pack. I walked towards the woods but I stop when I hear a noise. I look around to see Alaric coming out the house I sprint towards the tree and I hide myself. "Fuck" I whisper "why you're saying fuck." I look to my left and Alaric was there.

He looks down at me and also at my bag."are you trying to leave?!" He said in a demanding tone I flinched at his tone he clenches his jaw as his eyes were changing to a light red color his fangs were coming out."Alaric calm down" I said in a frighten tone. I have never seen this side of him I was afraid of him hurting me or possibly killing me.

But I'm his mate he can't do that right? "You aren't even denying that you were trying to leave." He took a threatening step towards me and I try to shrink myself."you cannot leave!" He yelled I close my eyes."yes I can who are you to be telling me what to do!" He is my mate but he doesn't know that Samantha told me.

"You are MINE!" He said I held my head up high " NO I'm not the only reason I stay was for you can train me to fight and now I'm leaving to find my family killers you can not stop me Alaric." I move away and I walked deeper towards the woods I turn around to see if he was coming but he wasn't.

As I continue half of me was disappointed that he left but the other half was glad he did. I run and I took a left and a right until I heard the familiar sound of honking and people talking. I slow down and I speed walk. I look around at the small cafe that me and my family always use to go to.

I took my time walking around until I reach my house. There was a caution sign around the front door. I look around to see if no one saw me walking inside the house I see everything was left how it was the glasses were on the ground. I go on the floor and i pick up the shiny ring. It was my sister favorite ring she will always have it around her necklace or on her finger.

I put it on my ring finger and I made my way up the stairs I hear footsteps and I froze I grab the small knife that was inside my pocket I head down to my room and I look at Alaric? I see him holding my picture I walk to him and I snatch it out of his hand."Alaric why did you follow me!"

I said he looks at me "I have ever right to be were you are because you are my mate." He said and he walk towards me." Well guess what I don't care about this whole mate thing because I agreed to not fall In love with you and you wanted that." I said to him. "Tsk tsk oh I'm sorry did I ruin your moment."

I turn my head around and Alaric quickly stood in front of me. I look at the man and my blood boil."how dare you show up in front of my face your a monster you stupid mutt." I said to him I was ready to charge at him but Alaric put his arms around my waist to stop me.

"Feisty rose we meet again." Said the mutt "hello Alaric or should I say hello darkness I'm surprised you are able to control your beast for this long period of time what is holding you back." I look up at Alaric "darkness?" He looks at me "not now." He said "ohh you haven't told your little innocent mate who you really are."

"Your mate h-" he launches to him and that when it all broke loose. I watch as Alaric fangs come out his nails were getting longer and his hair was somehow getting longer his blond hair was turning grey. He let out a hiss when the mutt punched him. I jump away when they both jumped out the window. I rush towards the window to see them fight.

I watch as Alaric gets thrown to the tree and I gasped "Alaric!" I scream his name when he didn't get back up I grab a gun  from the duffel bag and I run outside to my backyard I run to him and I shake him he lets out a groan and he stands up. He goes in front of me and that when the mutt howls loudly.

And more dirty wolves came out. I watch as they all came running and I shot one of them the mutt howls in pain. And I duck when the wolves came to attack. He bites my leg and I scream in agony.

What is happening?
