Continuing from previous part:-

Jatin finally talked with his wife and informed her about his stay here might be longer because of the business purposes though she didn't care much about him still she kept on insisting him to come back early as she having this weird feeling that something bad going to happen., he told her not to worry unnecessarily and disconnect the call he is about to return to his room when he saw Ashok clicking pics of rooms confused he go to him .

'What are you doing?' Jatin ask

Ashok look at him and reply 'well after you accepted my deal i inform clients about it one of the client planning to turn this house in a resort hotel so he asked me to send pics of rooms and house so I'm doing that only' .

Jatin felt little irritated by his hurry like he is doing things as if this house will be sold tomorrow only  'why you in so much hurry ? I didn't even talked with Meera till now and you are sending clients pics of this house! what if Meera denied to sell this house what will you do then ?'  he questioned him as he really don't know what Meera decided regarding this house she look more depressed from the day she been here .

'She'll definitely sell this house trust me i have known these siblings from childhood and one thing is clear they don't want to stay here by any chance , you know Yana and Zari used to get so scared of Mummy(Sakshi) in childhood that sometimes it appeared they might pee in their pants because of fear so I don't think they want to relive same kinda of fear once again in life'  Ashok say as he pulled out a cigarette start to smoke.

This new info bring so many questions to Jatin's mind why they feared their mother so much!

They both start going towards the 3rd floor where usually none of them till now visit ., upon reaching there Ashok start checking out rooms and click pics too they saw a big room at the corner of the stairs and it seems like the only room left in this house which they didn't see so both go towards that room trying opening it but surprisingly this room is locked .

'Huh ! Strange why this room is locked'  Ashok muttered in confusion as he trying to open the door .

'Maybe it's jammed come on let us both barged on door together and it'll open hopefully'  Jatin said and Ashok nods in agreement.

They both started pushing on door which seems like it not open but on their third attempt it broke down and open  a strong smell come out of it and both covered their nose confused by it ., Ashok flashed his phone light inside room and enter in first followed by Jatin.

Jatin try to find a switchboard in room he found an old wooden rack by his hand one glass jar rolled down from it and broke in pieces  Ashok flash light on it and both got shocked seeing what's in it .

That jar contains some dead insects with hair locks and fingernails .

'What the heck is this !'  Jatin ask in panic

Ashok too got panicked seeing this and he roams flash light in whole room and saw many other jars like this one and a pentagon symbol on floor with some cloth switched dolls  he remembered the rumours he used to heard in his childhood about Sakshi Dobriyal and by looking at this room he for the first time felt those might be true .

'Come let's first get out of this room i feel suffocated here'  Ashok said as he held Jatin for support urging him to got out of this room now .
Jatin nods as he too feels such negative vibes from this room so they both stepped out of this room and close it just like before..

'Village people used to say Sakshi often practice witchcraft in her house but that time i used to thought maybe it was all just baseless rumours like people can start saying anything bad about a single mother who raising her kids all alone and later when i started a relationship with Yana she never seemed like that so i stopped caring about those rumours but—-but now'  Ashok saying all this while smoking a cigarette sitting in outside garden with Jatin .  He told Jatin about his childhood and the things he heard in those days about Sakshi Dobriyal and Dobriyal siblings.

'But now it's seems true hmmm' Jatin completed his sentence and Ashok nods .

'But why you agreed to marry Yana i mean you hearing those rumours from your whole life then why ?' Jatin ask .

'From childhood i had this crush on Yana that got deeper in adulthood and no matter what people say about Sakshi Dobriyal she always has this strong connections with all the most important and influential people of village and nearby town so things got so easy after our marriage like my shop gets more profit and clients we got the good house and loan for it which is now finished you know stuff like that ., don't know how but some say Late Partap Dobriyal made these good ties with people in power which later befitted Mummy(Sakshi) and us too' Ashok explained and now Jatin understood all of it why Meera behaving so strange here maybe she knew more about her mother's dark side than others .

Ashok asked about how Jatin met Meera and he told they both met in nearby town of this village 20 years ago Meera was hiding from some shady people maybe she stole their money or maybe something else she never clearly told but they pretended to be husband and wife to got away from police inquiry and later that night both made love in effect of alcohol., next morning when Jatin try to look for Meera she was nowhere to be found so he goes back to take care of the factory of his father because of which he visited here .
Two days later of that Meera again come to him with her pregnancy news he told her that he can't marry her as his family won't allow it but she said that she wants to go away from her village and she don't care if he marry her or not just take care of her child financially she'll be more than good by it so he agreed on it and that's how they are like this now .

'I think this family(Sakshi Dobriyal and her three kids) are hiding some dark secrets' Ashok say as he got fleshes of Yana's uncomfortable behaviour around this house and her mother but she always said it's just her social anxiety thing nothing major Zari too behave somewhat weird and distanced many times but his reason were also same .

'Well only they can tell the real reason but for now i think Sakshi Dobriyal is on the verge of dying so all those secrets might end with her only' Jatin reply as he saw Sakshi's condition which isn't looking good at all and she seems more weak so chances of her recovering are very slim .

Both decided to just kept what they saw in that room within themselves and talk about it later with Dobriyal siblings about it ....

As days passing Mishti getting more close to her cousins and Abir too . She now opening up around them and they too likes to have full fun filled conversations among each other., on the other hand Abir used to mostly talk with Mishti as he always stay in granny's room where Mishti usually spend lot of her time as she never spent her time with granny in childhood so she compensating now .

Granny's(Sakshi) condition not getting any different just that she occasionally open her eyes and talks a little bit that's it Mishti and her cousins felt bad about granny's condition but granny asked them to not be saddened about it as she'll soon be in new body spending her time freely and peacefully(in next life after her death) she says that she can't wait to meet their grandpa in heaven and what she wanted she got by seeing such beautiful and well mannered kids of her children ., though all of them feel sad hearing this but what can they do in granny's age death is inevitable so they spend their time with granny peacefully.

One night all cousins(including Mishti) go to concert they enjoyed a lot and by chance Mishti bumps into Abir and a small smile comes on her face .

Soon all cousins includes Abir in their group too and Aarti ask him 'but you never told us earlier that you too attending this concert we would've come together na' her question is simple yet it seems like she interrogating him she doesn't seems to like him .

'Actually it was never my plan to attend this concert but Reeni had this concert ticket and now she is stuck in studying her exam date is out she told me to come here on her ticket and record full concert for her so that she can watch it later after her exams she is just love this singer and I'm stuck because of my friendship for her' Abir tells and Aarti nods Mishti too took a breath of relief as her cousins too gelled up well with Abir .

They had a fun filled time together..

After that concert night Aarti kept telling Mishti that maybe Abir likes her and she should give him a chance as he is good guy .

'You girls why always trying to play Cupid huh' Rohan( Ashok son) mock Aarti as his protective brother mood is active now hearing Mishti and Abir pairing up .

'Because i care about my sister and i want her to be happy actually why don't you talk with Reeni i saw you looking at her secretly many times are you shying around her !' Aarti tease him as she knows he likes Reeni all of them laugh on Rohan when he made a grumpy face trying to hide his shyness .

'So it's time for me to go' Abir said as he took his bag ready to leave as his shift got over .

Mishti adjusted her specs on her nose as she shyly wave him bye her cheeks has this little pink tint of blush after Abir praised her for the pasta she made 'it's the best pasta i ever tasted' he said while digging in the plate of pasta yeah it's seems cheesy but she hardly gets compliments and that too from a guy who her sister says might have crush on Mishti is a big thing so her feelings on high right now .

Abir smile at her and about to go when she ask  'ummm Abir aaa— actually it's my birthday on Saturday so would you like to come it's a small party in our room with me and my cousins and—-'   she is saying when Abir stop her in middle and say  'I'll surely come after all it's a special day'  he tucks her hair locks behind her ear so softly this moment is unexpected yet it seems so intimate they look in each other's eyes and Abir say a small bye with a small smile and left leaving  Mishti as blushing mess ....

On Saturday night :-

Mishti look at her wrist watch and panicked as it's almost 8 pm she is currently coming back from the bakery taking the cake in her hands  it's not like her cousins didn't arrange cake before they did but don't know how a big rat ate it from one side which spoiled it so she takes a responsibility on her to bring another cake as her cousins were stressing about decoration they are so cute but get so stressed over silly things specially Aarti she wants things just perfect for her insta feed she clicks so many pics but she is a sweetheart in real .

Mishti finally reached her home and open main door she couldn't see anyone down here so she thought maybe they are all up stairs in her room to surprise her a smile come on her lips she start going upstairs when her eyes fell on the blood trail which too going upwards on stairs  confused she follows these trail and reach her room while shouting her family members names but got no reply now they are scaring her like what kind of a birthday prank is this huh !

She open her room door and got shocked seeing inside scene  cake dropped from her hands as she witnessed the worst thing in her life till now .....

She see her family members blooded dead bodies on floor  her mom her dad , uncles aunts her cousins all are dead !!

Tears won't stop coming from her eyes as she trying to wake them up but they are no more their eyeballs and fingers were chopped off from their bodies and in front of her  her granny Sakshi Dobriyal standing giving this creepy smile ...

She looks at her all shocked and Sakshi  say  'tusk...tusk...tusk  poor idiots were fighting with me but  they didn't know they can't stand a chance in front of a decade old powerful witch  what a unfortunate fate they had'  .

'Y——You —-You did this ! How—-Why ?'  Mishti able to ask in her breaking scared voice she can't believe her old weak granny did this horrific act .

'Well Mishti remember i told you that I'll be in new body after death that means my this body be changed to yours I'll be switching my soul with you so technically I'm not going to die it's you who die tonight it's a old craft process to preserve our soul witches do this often and I'm going to do same so say goodbye to your body kiddo'  saying so Sakshi pick up the dagger she holding in her hand to stab Mishti and complete her process of switching souls ....... but in next second she started coughing blood and fell on floor near Mishti .

Mishti scream in horror seeing this and look upwards to find Abir standing over there holding Sakshi heart in his right hand  he look so different so menacing his eyes are now maroon red in colour and he smirk at her saying  'you know that's not a good way to wish someone happy birthday but guess your granny doesn't know bare minimum manners too'  and that's it because of shock Mishti fainted there only ....
