So, it's been officially decided that our cover artist, @abbert21, is now also the interview conductor of the club! Congratulations :3

Anyway, here's a simple set of rules and regulations the interviewer should follow:

1) Come up with creative, perceptive, entertaining questions. 

This should be obvious. Always be able to ask entertaining, insightful, and challenging questions that would capture the interest of both the reader and the interviewee. You want to create your interviews so that the main topic focuses on writing and the author's works, but the occasional miscellaneous question is just fine - encouraged, in fact! Don't be afraid to add a dash of humor, either ;)

Also, this is very important - VARY YOUR QUESTIONS! Don't have the exact same interview each and every time - it becomes dull that way. Always come up with fresh, new questions that will keep the readers engaged and looking forward to more!

2) Write down the questions, send them to me (Ivy) BEFORE the author you're interviewing, and wait for my confirmation

Do NOT skip this. As soon as you decide on what your questions will be, BEFORE sending them to the author whose book we are reviewing, send them to me first. Either to the GRA account, my account, or on Skype. I will look over these questions, modify them or ask for new ones if I think I need to do so, and then I'll send you back a confirmation as soon as I feel it's ready to be actually used.

The instant you receive my approval, send these questions to the author. When the author responds, send the answers back to me, and I'll take care of the rest.

Then, you'll have a complete interview :)

3) Submit your work on time

Extremely important. The interviewer's deadline is always one day BEFORE the submission's deadline of the critics. Note that this is when you're supposed to first send your *questions* to *me*. After I confirm them, and you send them to the author and receive your reply, I expect the full interview to be ready at the most two days later. 

So, for example, the critic's deadline for our current review is on October 18th. So, that means the date that the interviewer is supposed to send the questions to me is the day before, October 17th.

- October 17th: Abby will send me the interview questions. I will send back my confirmation and edits by the same day.

- October 18th: Abby should send these questions to the author by now.

- October 19th: By now, Abby should've received the answers from the author. The SECOND you do, send them to me, Ivy. I'll deal with the rest of the work.

...and, your work is complete.

Keep in mind that, although you have a deadline, you are encouraged to send your questions sooner if you're able to. It's not necessary, but it makes the process a lot smoother.
