As you've hopefully seen from the last update, we've had an admin change at the GRA. Maple has chosen to step down for the time being and so I've taken over, at least until Maple's future with the club becomes more clear. However, there is every chance that she won't return and you're stuck with me forever. But who am I?

I am DI_Gremlin, but feel free to call me Gremlin or Grem, but never Gremmy. I've been on Wattpad since 2014, and a member of the GRA since 2017. It took me a long time to climb the ladder and take over this club but now that that's been a resounding success, what am I actually going to do with the club?

The answer, for now, is nothing.

Maple sent me her message about passing the club to me over a month ago. I did not even go onto Wattpad in that time. The truth is, I've just been far too busy with university and all my other commitments to give any sort of focus to Wattpad. I did not want to start my time as GRA admin like this but I am just too busy so, for now, we will have to take a short break. Once my January exams are over I will be able to turn my attention to the club and actually try to run the thing properly.

It's not that I haven't given any thought to what I want to do, just no time to do any of it. Ironically, I want the GRA to be more active. I want regular articles for the writing tips book, on topics asked for by the readers. I want the review book to thrive, shining the spotlight on undiscovered gems, whilst also giving really good, helpful criticism. Most of all, I want to try and grow the GRA YouTube channel. I'd really love it if we were able to get a regular podcast going, rather than just a few livestreams throughout the year.

But, for the time being, all I have is hopes and thoughts. We'll be back soon and I'll be doing my best to make this club both as fun and as helpful as possible. I won't ever be the leader that Maple was, but all I can do is try to be the best that I can be.
