Hey, guys, we have some exciting news. After getting a suggestion from a follower and positive feedback in terms of interest expressed in our New Year's survey, we are hoping to begin offering a brand new editing service.

With this service, any Pokémon writer can share the first chapter of their book (or the entire thing if it's a one shot) and get feedback on everything to do with the technical side of writing. Through Google Docs, our editor would check your spelling, grammar, punctuation, word usage, and maybe even more. He or she would correct all of your errors, leaving the fixes as suggestions as well as giving helpful comments so that you can learn what your most common errors are and how you can avoid making them in the future. The hope is that you can take what you gain from the experience and use it to go on to correct all of the rest of your chapters on your own.

We're starting small because we don't know yet how much interest there will be in this new service, and we don't want our new editor to get overwhelmed. We also want to help as many different writers as possible. Depending on how things go, we might adjust the service in the future.

Of course, all of this depends on us being able to find and hire an editor who truly knows the ins and outs of proper writing, is able to reliably catch even the smallest errors in a chapter, and is willing to join our team! We don't want to offer this service unless we can really stand behind the quality of its results, so we will only be doing this if we are able to successfully hire someone. Job Requirements:

- Must have an active Wattpad and/or Skype account

- Must be able to use Google Docs to leave comments and suggestions on chapters

- Must be able to complete all editing tasks within a reasonable amount of time and inform the club administration in advance of any breaks or vacations needed

- Should have a focus on being kind and helpful and helping writers to learn from their mistakes

All applicants will be asked to undergo a test of their skills by editing a sample document that we will provide upon submission of their application (link in the comments below).

Applications will remain open until the position is filled. If and when we hire someone, we will create a second announcement containing details about how writers can submit requests for editing.
