So we got some responses to our anonymous survey, and I want to start by thanking everyone who filled it out. I'm not going to be sharing all the results here because I do want to keep it all anonymous and private, but I think there's no harm in showing the results of this one question.

So I guess I'll be sticking around.

More to the point of this article, though, there was at least one person who expressed willingness to have a private conversation about zir concerns. I mentioned in the survey that I could find a way to make that conversation anonymous as well, so now I come with good news.

I talked to Kat to ask for her help in finding a bot that could be added to the PWA Discord in order to allow anonymous messaging, and she came through! You'll notice that she's made a lot of changes to the PWA Discord server today, partially in response to some of the concerns that have been expressed, and one of them is the addition of a new channel called "anonymous-line".

As you can see, all you have to do in order to use it is to start a private conversation with the Voltaire bot. Inside there, you can type in !volt send_server "PWA Community Discord" anonymous-line. After that you can type whatever you want to be in your message.

As long as you've typed everything correctly, you should get a little blue reaction that says "Sent", and your message will show up in the anonymous-line channel in the PWA Discord. In this example, the message was "testing?" and it showed as having been sent by the bot, so no one reading it in that channel will know who it came from. After sending your message, I recommend going to the channel so that you can see the response and then going back to your private conversation with the bot whenever you want to say something else. That way we can have a conversation.

If you want, you can also send a message to the PWA staff chat (so it will only be seen by Kat, Rose, and me since I'm the inspector). The catch is that you also can't see the staff chat, so we won't be able to post a response for you there. You should use this for messages that you want to send to just the three of us but don't need a reply for. The code for this is: '!volt send_server "PWA Community Discord" staff.

I gave some other options for ways to have a conversation with me. I'd like to mention that I'm open to having conversations through email or PM any time, although I'm usually only available on the weekends or after 4:30 CST on weekdays. If you'd like to email or PM me anonymously, I recommend that you start a brand new email address or Wattpad account and then delete it after you're done. You can email me at gottareademallclub at gmail.com (I am the only one who has the password), and you can PM me either here or on my personal account. Sadly I do not have Twitter nor do I know how to use it, but hopefully one of these other methods will work for you.

I really am hoping that some of you who answered the survey will send a message. I'd be happy to talk about what I might have already done to try to resolve your concerns and about what I might be planning to do. I'd like to be sure that I understand what you're thinking and how you're feeling and find out if you think my solutions are good ones or not so I can make even more changes if I need to.
