Chapter 1

"You're making a mistake sir! My people are not savages, and we will not 'ruin' your society. I'm appalled that, that is your first reaction. Sir, couldn't we have some tea and, perhaps, talk this out. I'm sure we can reach an agreement."

King Asgore, a tall, brawny and surprisingly friendly goat monster was speaking, trying desperatly to reason with the humans leader. Dispite his best attemtps, the human seemed unimpressed.

"Mr. Asgore, I am being reasonable. Do you really think that humans want you here? I would gladly help you all integrate yourselves into our society, put humans fear you. It will be no good on either side. I see no good that can come of this. Please seek refuge elsewhere."

The smaller form, compared to king Asgore that is, made his way over to the large picture window of his office, looking out over the city. He carefully fixed his blue tie, flattening it out against his flat chest. A scrawny arm stretched around to scratch the back of his neck.

Asgore was unsure of how to proceed. He knew it would do no good to argue with the stubborn and stupid human. "You will regret this sir. My people are only so humble for so long. You neglect to remember that your kind are the ones at fault for our imprisonment and now, you are refusing to make up for the mistakes. Well human, I at least tried. Don't come crying to me when something bad happens."

"Is that a threat, Mr. Dreemeer?" he asked, turning sharply to look at the king. He no longer seemed humble, but rather, very agitated.

"Of course not, sir. I don't make threats. It's merely a warning, as you may know, a king needs to keep his people safe, keep their best interest in mind. Just be warned, I will do what I must to protect my people."

"SECURITY!" the human president called. Two large men in uniform came barreling into the room. "Ascort Mr. Dreemeer as far away from me as possible. I don't want him or his band of mutants around here again!"

The men latched onto either side of king Asgore and pulled him towards the exit. Asgore resisted only long enough to tell the man one last thing. "You shall regret this sir. You shall regret this." He then stopped fighting, and walked away, on his own terms.
