For some reason, the people who offer the workers to come to help clean the streets for the donation including Arthur. He liked to help with any kind of things with the build. As soon as they walked into the university from outside Arthur was ready to go to Portland State University this fall.
Tony: Listen, I knew you were going in there, I just signed in here.
Zach: For real?
Tony: Yeah.
Zach: You guys can live in the room together.
Arthur: Yeah...but I gotta see how much is gonna cost for the room.
Tony: Facts.
Arthur: I'll take a tour after I get into this when I get accepted. Follow me to the ice cream parlor.
*Miss Straw*
Arthur and the gang bought some ice cream without any custom to put some on it. However, Arthur likes the regular one, besides his friends putting chocolate sprinkles, rainbow sparkles, or anything on it. They were talking and laughing at each other while Arthur paid everything for them while the place remained free after what happened to the incident almost two years ago in December.
As long as they took a seat when they talked about their future the discussion after high school, Arthur listened to everyone and what they had to say.
The man comes to the place to order an ice cream sundae until he sees Arthur with his gang as he walks over to them.
Man: Which one is Arthur?
Arthur: I am.
Man: Say, you're the guy who helped the people to get more organization to upgrade the stores with co-workers.
Arthur: I'm just only to do my job.
Man: You should get the National Honor Society at school.
All: Yeah.
Arthur: *almost laughs* I always come to the spot full of gratitude when everyone is helping each other like I always need them.
Man: You need to keep it hands to yourself. I just don't want you to get your hands dirty because it's poison and germs from anywhere. I wondered. *walks away*
Arthur: *eating ice cream*
Mia: So, we're back together again.
Arthur: Sure we are.
Mia: We only have a few months left until we outta here.
Talia: Exactly my point. But it sounds crazy when you have heard about you guys calling from the college to get y'all accepted to the university. That's the reason why I pulled up online to do it.
Jason: Talia, everybody can go to the college after they apply online as soon as they get the e-mail or call people to get answers.
Haley: It won't be last forever to do this.
Talia: That's why I gotta tell him that.
Mia: Girls, stop. *smiles*
Talia: I was only like yeah, yeah, Yeah.
Haley: Oh whatever, what a waste I am but my other girl would say the same shit.
Zach: Oh really?
Haley: Zach, please stop it.
Arthur: *enjoying themselves*
Mia: Stop...please...I love you girls so much. *smiles*
Jamie: And to believe, I'm heading to South Carolina. Starting new things of mine.
Jason: Same shit for me because I'm going to my hometown ATL, getting restored of my life.
Talia: I'm going to Toronto.
Mia: I'm going to New York.
Zach: I'm going to New Jersey.
Tony: I'm staying in Oregon.
Arthur: Me too.
Haley: I'm going to the community college. That's all I have to know.
The next day, Arthur walked into the hallway he reached the music room alone when he was looking at all of the instruments during the study hall period. When he seemed to be playing the drums he played it back in the day until Mia saw him playing it while she was looking at the song lyrics she came in and started singing.
Mia: *singing* "Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone, and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late, and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date, "Man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home, 'fore I said, "Amen"
Asking God if he could play it again"
Arthur: *playing the guitar with the rhythm while looking at Mia*
Mia: *smiles and walks over right in front of him* Hey handsome.
Arthur: What's up, babe?
Mia: How do you like it?
Arthur: It seems something like that, it was perfect.
Mia: Not gonna lie, I was gonna pull up for the performance in the concert.
Arthur: Save it up for the showcase when you gonna go out there. Let me guess, you wrote the song about us?
Mia: *nods and kisses his neck*
Arthur: *feels it* Mmm. I wanna hear your voice.
Mia: *looks at him*
Arthur: *looks at her*
Mia: *continues singing* "I was walkin' up the front porch steps after everything that day
Had gone all wrong and been trampled on
And lost and thrown away
Got to the hallway, well on my way to my lovin' bed
I almost didn't notice all the roses
And the note that said
Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone, and you talk real slow
'Cause it's late, and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date, "Man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have"
And when I got home, 'fore I said, "Amen"
Asking God if he could play it again"
Arthur: *finished playing guitar*
Mia: Can you come to your house right after school? I know what you heard about taking a break from helping these people with donations.
Arthur: Yeah, why not? *grabs her hand and leaves the music room*
Mia: *smiles*
