Hey guys, one more chapter after this! Or is there...?

Third Person P.O.V. (Wakanda)

The wind violently disorients the fighters. The heroes would like to blame it on the wind for their current state, but the truth is that the enemy is just too strong.

The mindless four-armed creatures attack anything they can get their hands on. Steve Rogers is knocked on his back, using his two small shields to protect his vital organs from the monsters. The Black Panther notices and turns around to help the Captain, but one of the aliens grabs his ankle and drags him backward. Bruce in the Hulkbuster seems to be doing alright until he's knocked down on his back. Black Widow and Okoye try to keep the monsters off of each other's backs, but they get separated and overwhelmed. Falcon tries to save anyone he can, but Cull Obsidian uses his weapon to knock him out of the air, doing the same to War Machine. M'Baku struggles to keep the creatures off of his warriors, and he seems to be the only Avenger who's not currently in mortal danger.

And then there's (Y/n). Proxima Midnight stands triumphantly over the modern day girl, holding her sword to the younger girl's throat. (Y/n) almost closes her eyes, but then she hears the familiar sound of a certain rainbow bridge. Sure enough, when she looks toward the source of the noise, she sees a beam of rainbow light touching the ground.

A silver axe emerges from the light and swings around the battlefield. It wipes out all the aliens that are threatening an Avenger, easily electrocuting them. Finally, on it's last turn, Stormbreaker swipes Proxima Midnight off of (Y/n). The modern girl quickly stands up with the rest of the Avengers, her energy returning to her, and watches as Stormbreaker returns to the hand of its owner.

The rainbow light vanishes in an instant, revealing Thor, Rocket. Groot, and Hazel all with their weapons drawn. Bruce Banner takes off the helmet of the Hulkbuster and laughs with relief. "AHAHA! You guys are so screwed now!"

Everyone smiles at the newcomers, but (Y/n) waits for something in particular, her fangirliness getting the better of her. Thor starts running forward and raises Stormbreaker. "BRING. ME. THANOS!" He flies up in the air, his two eyes glowing with lightning and slams Stormbreaker on the ground. Every enemy around him is electrocuted and storm clouds block the sun.

Hazel runs over to (Y/n) and tackles her in a loving hug. The blonde tears up, not being able to contain the intense feeling of relief that just swept over her.

"When we are done with this, you have got to tell me what happened!" Hazel grips her friend's shoulders, her green eyes meeting with (Y/n)'s (e/c) ones.

"I want to hear what happened to you too, but I think we are at war right now." (Y/n) looks around and sees one of those four-armed alien things rushing up to the two friends. She pushes Hazel out of the way and blasts it with purple flames.

Hazel's eyes widen but she shakes it off, deciding to ask later. "I'll help the Natasha and Okoye side, you go into the forest and help Bruce!"

(Y/n) nods at the suggestion and uses her powers as she heads over to her post. Hazel fights alongside Groot, Bucky, and Rocket, getting used to her new weapons. She doesn't want to use the fire boomerang as much because she doesn't want to start a forest fire, so she uses more of the ice one.

The ice boomerang proves itself useful as it successfully freezes the monsters. She keeps them off of everyone's back while the other Avengers finish them off. Thor lands between her and Captain America, using Stormbreaker to easily defeat the enemies.

Steve takes a breather and turns to Thor who he hasn't seen in ages. He notices Thor doesn't possess his long, blonde hair anymore and finds it surprising. "New haircut?"

Thor finds amusement in the question and turns to the Captain. He's surprised by his friend's new looks as well. "I noticed you've copied my beard."

Steve shrugs and chuckles, heading back into the fight. Right across from them, Bucky uses his gun the Wakandans gave him and expertly takes down tons of aliens. Rocket stands behind him, using his own gun which he made himself. Rocket laughs at how fun he thinks this is. "Come and get some, you space dogs!"

Bucky turns to look at Rocket and his eyes widen to see a bunch of aliens running faster at the friendly raccoon. Bucky picks up Rocket by the top of his pack and spins him around, both of them using their guns to take down the enemies.

Rocket is set back down now that the wave of monsters has been defeated. He turns toward Bucky, glad that a human has a knack for his type of weapon. "How much for the gun?"

"Not for sale." Bucky aims his gun and shoots more monsters.

Rocket expected that answer, so he asks the question he really wanted to in the first place. "Ok, then how much for the arm?" Bucky looks at him with a weird expression and walks away. "Oh, I'll get that arm."

Proxima Midnight orders something inaudible to the heroes, and to everyone's surprise the ground starts moving outside the barrier. Something must be under the floor.

The barrier ripples and huge, metal destruction wheels emerge from the ground. The Black Panther's eyes widen from under his mask and he starts running away from the wheels. "Fall back! Fall back now!"

Okoye, Natasha, and Hazel stare up at the giant wheels of destruction. They all kneel down and cover their heads, waiting for their end to come. Wanda Maximoff lands between them and the wheels, using her telekinesis to lift the devices and make them land on surrounding mindless aliens.

Okoye stands up and swings her spear around. "Why was she up there all this time?"

"She's on the field. Take it." Proxima orders.

Up in the building where they are keeping Vision, Corvus Glaive kills the guards outside of the lab. He bursts the door open and Shuri looks behind her shoulder worriedly. She tries to do some last minute calculations on her computer before putting on a Black Panther hand gun, and shooting Corvus in the chest.

The sonic cannon gun does nothing to the evil alien, and Corvus tosses Shuri aside. He is about to stab her with his famous weapon, but Vision springs up from the table and rams into Corvus. They both fall out of the lab window and into the forest.

Falcon is back in the air and sees Vision fall out of the lab. "Guys, we got a Vision situation!"

Captain America is the first to respond, but he knows he can't get there in time. "Someone get to Vision!"

"I'm on my way-AHH!" Wanda is hit in the head with the handle of Proxima's sword.

Proxima glares at Wanda, not forgetting the battle she had with Wanda in Scotland earlier that day. This time, Proxima is determined not to lose. "He'll die alone, as will you."

"She's not alone." Proxima's glare hardens as she slowly turns around to face the voice. Natasha stands there with her two electric staffs. Okoye guards the other side of Wanda, swinging her spear and pointing it at Proxima. Hazel ignites her ice boomerang and points it at Proxima, nodding at the other two Avengers. Proxima growls and jumps up, attacking Natasha first. Hazel and Okoye take this as an invitation to attack, and together they help Natasha.

Corvus Glaive and Cull Obsidian continuously attack Vision until the robot is completely discombobulated. Suddenly, the Hulkbuster lands between Vision and his attackers, aiming his palms at Corvus and Cull.

Bruce holds his ground and is confident that these evil aliens won't stand a chance against the Hulkbuster. "Oh no, this isn't going to be like New York, pals. This thing has already kicked the crap out of the Hulk-"

Bang!

Cull throws his weapon at Bruce, sending him deeper into the forest where a stream of water flows. Cull follows his prey and continues to throw his weapon at Bruce's armor.

Bruce tries to find Vision, but he's too occupied with Cull. "Guys, Vision needs backup now!"

"I hear you loud and clear, Bruce!" (Y/n) finally finds Bruce being attacked by Cull, but doesn't intervene with that fight. Instead, she spots Vision and hurries over to aid him.

Right before Corvus attempts to stab Vision, (Y/n) shoots a blast of purple fire at him from her hands. Corvus looks at the girl, and (Y/n) sneakily uses the Reality Stone's powers to hide Vision. This takes up a bit of energy, and she has to abandon her original plan. She wanted to use the Space Stone's powers to send Corvus somewhere else, but she knows she won't be able to conjure a portal. Instead, she needs to fight.

(Y/n) knows Corvus' only weakness. She needs to get him to let go of his weapon. She knows this won't be an easy task, but at least she has a goal. (Y/n) slides under Corvus' horizontal swipe attack and kicks him in the back of his knee. Corvus falls to his knees, but quickly recovers and once more swings his weapon at the girl.

(Y/n) barely dodges his second attack and tried to grab his weapon. She gets a hold on it with one hand, and Corvus understands what she's trying to do. The alien pulls on his weapon, bringing (Y/n) up close to him. He pulls the girl's hair back, making her scream and let go of his weapon.

Corvus slowly brings the blade of his weapon up to (Y/n)'s outstretched throat, and is about to kill her when he is suddenly pushed off. (Y/n) falls and clutches her neck, looking up at who saved her. Vision tackles Corvus and quickly flies over to the girl.

"Are you alright?" Vision helps her up and the girl nods.

(Y/n) looks up at the Stone on Vision's forehead and becomes entranced once more. She looks back into Vision's glassy eyes and asks permission. "May I?"

Vision understands her question and bows his head lower to her hand. (Y/n) takes a deep breath before brushing her fingertips against the yellow glowing Stone.

BOOM!

The girl is pushed back by some unknown force for the sixth time, but Vision catches her. (Y/n)'s eyes are a crystal yellow color when she opens them. She looks up at Vision and seems to be able to read his expression clearly.

What's weird that (Y/n) notices first is that Vision is outlined in blue, while Corvus on the ground behind them is outlined in red. When she looks at Vision, it's almost as if she can read his mind. He feels sad that a young girl like her has to be trapped in an intense battle like this, and he feels the need to protect her.

She doesn't get long to think about it more though, because Corvus Glaive gets up and quickly attacks. The outlining disappears from (Y/n)'s sight as the powers of the Mind Stone stop working. She gets up and proceeds to protect Vision from Corvus.

Deeper in the forest, Bruce continues to fight with Cull. He's not used to being in something Tony created. Heck, he's never even been in an Iron Man suit at all! Cull takes advantage of Bruce's lack of experience and clumsiness to gain the upper hand.

Cull gets behind the Hulkbuster and kicks him hard in the back. Bruce falls forward, stretching his arms out to catch himself. Cull grabs one of Bruce's arms and rips the metal off with his weapon. He throws the disembodied arm on the ground, roaring in triumph.

Bruce lays in the stream of water and desperately tries one last time to get the Hulk out. "Hulk, Hulk, I know you like making your entrances at the last second. Well, this is it! This is the last last second."

"NOOOO!" the Hulk says and goes back into hiding.

Bruce finally gets fed up and clenches his fists. "Oh screw you, you big green asshole, I'll do it myself!"

Bruce leaps up and attacks Cull with more might than he had before. He realizes he doesn't need to rely on the Hulk any longer, and uses his brains instead of his size. Bruce grabs the broken Hulkbuster arm from the stream, and waits for the perfect moment. Cull jumps up and aims his fist at Bruce, but the scientist catches it in the arm of the Hulkbuster.

"See ya!" Bruce presses a button on the Hulkbuster arm that's now on Cull, and Cull shoots up into the sky. The evil alien drags across the top of the dome of Wakanda and explodes from the upbuilding friction. Bruce sighs in relief and says, "Hulk, we've got a lot to work out."

Hazel, Okoye, Natasha, and Wanda continue to fight Proxima. You'd think that four Avengers would be able to defeat one Black Order member, but it proves to be quite difficult. Hazel stands back at a distance, mostly because she doesn't want to get in the way of the other heroes, but also because she has less experience.

Okoye goes in for another attack, aimed to disarm Proxima, but the plan goes in reverse. Proxima dodges the spear and trips Okoye, sending the Avenger tumbling to the ground. One of the deadly wheels bounces over the fighters' ditch they stand in, so they all pause only to continue fighting.

Natasha knocks the sword out of Proxima's hands, so the alien pulls out a long knife. The Black Order Member charges at Natasha and knocks her down on her back. Proxima tries to stab the Avenger in the throat, but she crosses her short electric staffs and pushes back. Proxima is stronger, and her knife slowly reaches the skin of Natasha's neck, but she's suddenly pulled back.

Wanda uses her powers to lift up Proxima into the air. Hazel creates a platform of ice that Proxima lands on right before meeting her end by the wheels she ordered onto the field. The four girls look at each other and Natasha states the obvious, "That was really gross."

Thor uses Stormbreaker to destroy the wheels of destruction and many more enemies, Steve and T'Challa fight side by side, M'Baku stays out near the edge of the city to keep the monsters from entering, Rocket and Groot deal with the leftover mindless aliens with Bucky, and Rhodes and Sam patrol the skies for any new threats. None of them seem aware that Vision and (Y/n) are still struggling with one last Black Order Member.

(Y/n) uses her powers to hold back Corvus, but the alien is just too strong while he has his weapon in his hands. He finally gets up to her and grabs her wrist, tossing her over his head and hard onto the ground.

(Y/n) grunts and her sight become blurry from being thrown so fast. She puts her hand up to her microphone in her ear and stutters out, "H-help in the...f-forest."

Corvus grabs Vision from around the throat and stabs him in the front. "I thought you were a formidable machine, but you're dying like any man!"

Suddenly, Corvus is pushed off of Vision and Captain America yells, "Vision, get out of here! Go!"

Corvus has dropped his weapon, so he uses his own fists out of pure rage. The Captain dodges the alien's attacks and looks at Vision with concern. "Go, get out of here!"

The two continue to fight and eventually Captain America is knocked down. Corvus leans over Steve, choking him. Steve's eyes begin to water, but he manages to see a golden blade emerge from Corvus' chest. Vision tosses Corvus aside and helps Captain America up.

"What was that? Man, I told you to go." Steve sighs in relief, but also from anger at Vision from not following his orders.

"We don't trade lives, Captain." Vision says and the two head over to where (Y/n) is laying.

Captain America regains his breath and helps (Y/n) up. She groans at the way her stiff muscles feel, but other than that she seems alright. "Thanks. I'll go back out to the field. I need to see if Hazel is alright."

Steve nods and (Y/n) uses her powers to fly over to the main battlefield. She finds Hazel and M'Baku's army fighting off the rest of the monsters. Right when everything seems to be going well, the wind suddenly stops.

Wanda lands next to Vision and hugs him. Natasha, Okoye, T'Challa, Sam, Rhodes, Steve, Bruce, Bucky, Groot, and Rocket all make their ways over to them. They look up at the sky as the atmosphere eerily changes.

Vision's head starts throbbing so he clutches the Stone and goes on his knees. "He's coming..."

Wanda looks at him worriedly and readies her powers. Surly enough, Thanos appears from a portal he made with the Space Stone, and steps into the land of Wakanda.

Bruce feels a shiver go through his entire body as he nods toward the intruder. "Captain, that's him."

Captain America readies his two shields and slowly walks forward. "Eyes up. Stay sharp."
