Back at Nidavellir, Thor, Jamie, Eitri, Rocket, and Groot started to get to work.

"This is the plan? We'll hit him with a brick?" Rocket asked.

"It looks like a mold," Jamie pointed out.

"It is. A king's weapon. Meant to be the greatest in Asgard," Eitri explained.

"In theory, it could even summon the Bifrost," Thor added.

"Dang," Jamie commented.

"Does it have a name?" Rocket wondered.

"Storm Breaker," Thor answered.

"Yeah. It's a bit much. So how do we make it?" Rocket asked.

"You'll have to restart the forge. Awaken the heart of the dying star," Eitri informed.

"Rabbit, fire up the pod," Thor commanded.

Then Jamie passed out.

She woke up to see nothing but white everywhere. She got up and dusted herself off.

"You're wearing my colors. I'm honored," Loki remarked.

She smiled as she turned to see him. They hugged and kissed.

"Great timing on that one, hun," she commented sarcastically.

He laughed a little then said, "I'm sorry. It's just I wanted to us to do something."

"What would that be?" Jamie wondered.

Loki smirked then snapped his fingers. Music came out of nowhere and Jamie cupped her mouth as tears started to form.

"I thought we could have our own 'King and Queen' Waltz. May I have this dance, my queen?" he asked, holding out his hand.

She placed her hand in his and answered, "Yes you may, my king."

He held her close as they started dancing. She rested her head on his shoulder then Loki did something she never heard him do: sing.

Jamie couldn't help but cry out of happiness and love. She lifted her head and looked into his eyes.

"I never thought the day would come when I would hear you sing," she said, drying her tears.

"I'll be honest; neither did I," he admitted.

Jamie giggled then smiled as she said, "Care to make this a duet?"

Loki smiled and kissed her. She eagerly returned it until he parted.

"I would love to make it a duet," he answered.

She placed her arms gently around his neck while he rested his hands around her waist. They gazed into each other's eyes and sang.

"Oh how could I face the faceless days
If I should lose you now?

We're so close to reaching that famous happy end
Almost believing this one's not pretend
Let's go on dreaming though we know we are
So close, so close, and still so far"

At the end, they hugged. Jamie cried softly in the crook of his neck as Loki rubbed her back comfortingly.

"We are so close and still so far," Jamie cried.

"I know, darling. But I swear to you that I will be with you no matter what my fate is. I want to make your greatest desire come true, but sadly, it's not my decision to make," Loki said, them parting from the hug.

"I know. Me not being with you is like a part of my soul being ripped away. The only good part is the possibility that you could come back," she told him, wiping her tears away.

He placed one hand on her cheek while wrapping his other arm around her. She placed one hand on his, kissing his palm, and held his elbow with the other.

"After experiencing what you wanted, I feel as if I've already met our son and known him for so long. But I also feel I can not give you what you want," Loki said.

"I feel the same," Jamie added then wondered, "By the way, you agree with me that it'll be a son when we have our first child?"

Loki chuckled then answered, "'Not yet developed' father instinct."

She giggled and kissed his cheek.

"Loki, I told Thor about last time," Jamie said.

"How did he grasp this information?" Loki wondered.

"He trusted what I said and promised that we will kill Thanos and wield the gauntlet so we can bring you back," she explained.

"I appreciate that. More than you know. But it's not my decision, love. If it were, I would come back with you, but I can not. Not at the moment anyway. And I do not know if you can bring me back with the gauntlet since he doesn't have the Time Stone yet," he said.

She bowed her head in sadness. He sighed and lifted her chin up then caressed her cheek.

"Jamie, promise me something. And I know you can keep it because I failed to keep mine," he requested.

"What is it?" Jamie wondered.

"Don't hope for something too much if there's not a huge possibility of it happening. Even though I could return, there is a chance that I won't be able to. I don't want you to keep saying that I will be coming back and you get all happy and then it not happen. Just don't live on false hope," Loki said.

She sighed, nodded, and answered, "Okay. I promise."

They kissed and then Jamie was brought back.

When she woke up, she saw Thor, Rocket, Groot, and Eitri looking at her with concern.

"Jamie? What the hell was that about?" Rocket asked.

"Let's just say Loki needs to work on his timing when he wants to talk to me," Jamie answered.

Thor chuckled as he helped her up and wondered, "Are you ready for this?"

"Yes," Jamie smirked.

And they all got to work.
