𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲'𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿. The Forbes twins understood that better than a lot of people. Seven years ago, the twins had been wandering around the woods surrounding their hometown with their friends, Scott and stiles. They didn't expect to be left there in the woods alone when the creaking of twigs and leaves scared the two other boys. They didn't expect to be attacked from behind by an angry wolf. They didn't expect to be bitten by the wolf, a bite that would soon change their lives forever. They didn't realize when they got bit that it wasn't by a normal wolf and when they finally realized, it was too late. The harm and damage had already been done.

The Forbes twins grew up in a loving home, their parents always being caring and taking care of them. That night when the twins decided to go out, the parents were anxious because they would be alone in the woods at night alone, but they didn't want to upset their children by saying no so they allowed it. The moment they received a call informing them that their kids had been in an accident, their hearts broke and they rushed to their kids. It hurt them even more to see their kids in so much agony and pain as they slept, their eyes squinting and their arms and hands shaking with anxiety from what had happened to them. When they found out that it was a wolf bite that harmed their kids, terror filled them even more. They had never heard of wolves in beacon hills, and if they thought it was who they thought it was, then their family was in danger.

The kids soon got released from the hospital and although they enjoyed being at home, their parents had been acting differently around them since they got home. It was starting to anger them at how cautious they were around them and how little they actually talked to them. That built up anger was what caused the accident that happened on their first full moon. They didn't know what was happening and so they went downstairs to ask their parents, but it had been to late. The noises were getting louder, everything hurt, and they could hardly move. They transformed for the first time and by the time they were done, after blocking everything out, their parents were dead. They had no idea how it happened, seeing as they had blocked everything out, but they believed the police when they said it was an animal attack. They also believed their rescuer and adoptive father when he told them what was happening to them. How they were now wolves and had a pack to protect.
