You're on the couch, sitting right next to the "ultimate mercenary" as what he likes to say but you know deep down he's just a kind jackal with traumatic events on his back. But you understand how he feels since you always saw him fighting so gracefully and so effortlessly. It makes you feel surprised being next to the big man himself. His moments in battle were so fluid and perfectly timed you always wished you could see him fight like that again or even just wanna be like him sometimes. You always had your doubts as a child, your strengths, your weaknesses or even just needing to be stronger and more less of a wimp. You didn't wanna feel anything. Do anything. You felt helpless like a dog on the street. Well. That's what you used to think as a child. Now you're bigger,better and stronger.

Now your the comrade/partner training to be the best of the best with infinite. Crazy right? Well not for you of course since your y/n!

"y/n? Are you there my angel?" infinite said with a concerned look on his face.

"O-oh yea. Sorry I just zoned out for a second." you say nervously.

"'Well my dear it's time for our training, you know how it can be with sonic and his pest friends." he says with a stern tone.

You always trained with infinite and he always has to be good at fighting when you're still falling and slipping.

You weren't always very good at fighting, you were always a long distance fighter with long ranged weapons but infinite has to go in 1st blood and you always liked that about him being so determined for the fighting when you didn't really were a fighter you were always a watcher for the fights that infinite has to "take what's his". He always fought a lot of strong people, Shadow, Sonic, Silver etc.

Infinite always liked to show/teach you how to fight exactly like him. Well,, Sorta??

"Y/N!" infinite says loudly.

"Ah!" You say in a scared gasp.

"Stop losing focus! You know we have to train, y/n l/n. Infinite says in a grumpy tone.

"Y-Yes sir!" you say nervously.

You had never ever heard him say your last name (well unless you count your parents doing that but anyways) You run outside to the training ground you guys had set up. It kinda looks like just a big circle imprinted onto the dirt.

"You ready, y/n?" infinite says with a grin (which you can't see because he has a mask on)

"Oh I'm so ready." you say with a smug look on your face.

You run at him with full force and put your hand into a fist and of course you miss, infinite using his powers slamming you onto the ground at full force. You yell in pain because of the hard force on the dusty dirty ground. You get up back on your feet as quickly as you can and you try to use your weapon, trying to pull it out as fast as you can until infinite floats at you. you didn't even see him because he was that fast and you were to dumbfoundead to notice. Fighting for your weapon you say:

"Had enough yet infi-dumb?" you say to him.

"Oh darling, I'm just getting started."

he says to you grinning (which you can't see duh)

He snatches the gun away from you, using it on you and you (y/n) running like a cartoon character.

You're trying to dodge the bullets as he tries to shoot you with your own weapon and then you try to catch your breath when you're trying to run at him and try to get him off guard you grab his leg. trying to pull you off you swing him into a tree at full strength. (well at least you tried to)

"Ha! How's that?" you say standing proud

"You're getting good but I have the upper hand!" infinite says trapping you with his powers

You see him with his two colored eyes locking into yours

"Your eyes look really pretty infinite!" you say

"A.. Are you doing this to distract me?" he says with one hand covering his face.

You nod you head vigorously

Infinite plops you onto the ground defeated with your smooth moves.

"Ha Ha! I win, you lose!"

you say when doing a silly victory dance picking at infinite for his loss.

"Tsk yea sure in your dreams." infinite says rolling his eyes but trying to not show his smiling under his mask.

He plops himself next to you. You're both tired and bruised from this very rough training you guys had. You lay your head onto infinites shoulder and he jumps a little because of it. But oh well he sighs in defeat and slightly shrugs. His shoulders are trying not to move you.

"Hey infinite?" you say to him

"Yes angel?" he says back

"Can we do this again sometime? This was really fun and I had a great time with you."

You say giving him a little kiss on the cheek.
