Chapter 1

Union. The academy to go to if you want to be a hunter, hero, or use your demonic powers for good. Promises to treat everyone as equal beings. It's amazing. But, every good, has it's equal or overpowering evil. Deep in the beautiful facade of Union, lays a student. Beaten and bare, until he can't feel anything. Many other students surrounding him, laughing, not helping him. While the mistreatment of the student continues, no professor bats an eye to stop it. They simply enjoy watching him suffer. Who is this? You may ask. Well, this... is you. Your name is F/n L/n. You have H/c hair, and E/c eyes. You are quite the looker. But the students who mistreat you don't see it.

Bakugo: "Ha!" He punches you in the side of your face. Forcing you onto your side, on the ground. Blood started to pour.

"P... please st-op..." You begged, as your voice broke within the middle of your words.

The students however, didn't stop. Instead more of them joined in.

Ruby: "You freak!" She kicked you in your back, forcing you to lay on your stomach.

She picks you up.

Ruby: "Yang! Here, have a go!" She told her sister.

Yang: "Oh yeah." She charged up a punch, and uppercut you. You didn't do anything to stop them. You couldn't do anything. You had no power over them. You have no quirk, no semblance, no armor, nothing. You're a normal human.

As you lay on your back, blood poured from your mouth, and the side of your head. Yang held you like Ruby did. Speaking of Ruby, she pulled out her scythe, Crescent Rose. She readied a strike. You stayed there. Both because you were being held by Yang, and because you had no energy to. The pain was overwhelming. Ruby smiled sinisterly.

Ruby: "Tell me F/n... which is your good eye?" She asked. Her voice was high pitched and cute, but what she said was intimidating. You couldn't answer. You had no will power to. So she smirked. "Guess I'll choose then." She dashed at you, and raised her scythe.

Your eyes widened as she raised her scythe. She brought her scythe down onto your face, slicing your face. You screamed in pain, and placed your hand on your right eye. It was quick, and the pain started to settle in. You pulled your hand away. You saw blood from your palm, all the way up to your middle finger. You felt blood trickle down your face. Vision in your right eye was blurry. You looked at Ruby in fear, and the smallest feeling of anger.

Cardin: "Awe, did Ruby hurt the little freak?" Cardin asked in a mocking tone. You stared at the blood in your hand. And that faint anger, erupted into a wild fire. Your pupils shrink. You unsheathe a combat knife from your right thigh. No one expected the knife, so they stood shocked.

You run up to Ruby, and stab her in her shoulder. She screams in pain as you do so. But, your happiness was short-lived, as you were punched to the ground by Juane. Everyone gathered around Ruby to see if she was okay.

Yang: "Oh my god Ruby! Are you okay?!" She asked her younger sister frantically. She observed the knife. The thought settled in you that the damage wasn't even enough to break her aura. All it was is just a penetration that could heal in minutes.

Ruby: "I-I'm fine. It didn't break through my aura." Then, everyone's gaze set upon you. They stared at you like a pack of hungry wolves. Ruby stepped forwards, ripping the knife out of her shoulder. "F/n... you have 2 minutes to run." Her words were cold, setting fear into you. You crawled backwards, before standing up, and running in the other direction, ignoring the pain you felt in your possibly broken legs.

As you run, you counted down your time. You ran out of Union and out of the courtyard. You quickly ran to the city, hiding among the civilians. Many looked at you with concerned faces, some even asked you if you needed help. You however ignored them, and kept on walking. You kept counting, as your gaze was set upon a sort of space craft. You quickly ran over to it, and got in. You made sure you weren't seen. You caught your breath, and sat down in one of the many seats. But, as if waiting for someone to sit, the spacecrafts lights turn on, and the door closes. A metal harness closes around you. You feel the craft start to shake. You look out a near window, and see that the craft was being lifted off the ground. Then a computer came on.

Computer: "Hello." The voice was robotic and had no emotion. You looked around, wondering what or where the voice was coming from. "You are aboard the SetDeF transport ship. Used to bring candidates for the SDF, or Settlement Defense Front, to the Mars colony. However, the SDF, was disbanded after a recent treaty with Earthen forces name USNA. The leading Admiral, Salen Kotch, has been noted as deceased from a recent attack from USNA. You are the perfect candidate for the position given your background."

"Wh... what?" You asked in total confusion. You noticed you are now out of Earth's atmosphere, and was now in space.

Computer: "You are the perfect candidate to take on Admiral Kotch's roll in the SDF."

"Wh... where are we going?" You asked, your tone turned to a calm one, and your breathing was slowed.

Computer: "I am bringing you to the Mars colony of SDF. The shipyard was destroyed the day Admiral Kotch was killed. I have notified the citizens of your arrival." You decided to relax for the time being. You leaned back, into the seat. Looking out the window, was the sight of Earth, slowly getting smaller in size as you drift away from it.

You looked around the planet, admiring your surroundings. You were in space. But, your attention was gained by the computer again.

Computer: "Admiral, would you like to jump to the Mars colony?" The computer asked you. You were caught off guard by it calling you Admiral.

"Admiral?" You asked the computer.

Computer: "Yes, since you are now the leader of the Settlement Defense Front, you are titled the rank of Admiral. It is an honor to be delivering you to the Mars colony."

You just decided to roll with it.

"Sure, but what does 'jump' mean specifically?" You wondered by what 'jump' meant.

Computer: "For a vessel to 'jump', it means to influx from one position to another in the matter of seconds." The computer explained. "Would you like to jump?"

You were still somewhat confused by the meaning, but you decided.

"Sure, how long will it take?" You asked.

Computer: "From our current coordinates, it will take approximately 30 seconds."

"Okay. Sure, let's jump to the Mars colony." You say.

The front of the spacecraft soon started to raise some poles. The poles in question started to spark. Then, everything started to shake. You looked out the window once again, and it seemed that you were going through some sort of portal.

Computer: "Influx in 3, 2, 1." Then, everything came to a halt. You looked out the window, and seen the big red giant Mars. The pod continued to make it's way down onto the planet, soon docking at what once was the SDF shipyard you presumed.

The shipyard in question, lied in ruins. As the computer said, it was attacked.

Computer: "Here we are. The SDF Shipyard. Laying in ruins from the last attack by UNSA. Docking now." The craft moved and drifted, soon coming to a docking bay which was somewhat intact. The moorings connected it, and you felt gravity take over the pod once more. The harness lifted, and you were able to stand up.

Once you stood up, the door to the pod opened revealing two robot's, saluting you. You walked out of the pod, and were then greeted with a human soldier.

???: "Welcome Admiral." The voice was female. She had black hair put up in a bun, and was wearing a suit of combat armor. "I am Admiral Nora Salter of USNA." Her hair had some gray and white strands in it. The wrinkles on her face showed her age. "What is your name?"

"M-my name's F/n L/n... can you tell me what the hell's going on?"

Salter: "Of course. Since the SDF was destroyed along with the remaining UNSA. I was one of the few that got out in time to tell the tail. I became Admiral of the UNSA. There was no one to take control of the SDF, so we sent down a boarding craft to draw in the perfect candidate. Once you were inside the pod, you were immediately scanned for your background. Union student with amazing grades. Amazing." She somewhat smiled.

"Wait... so all because I'm a student at Union with good grades means I deserve to be the Admiral of the SDF?" I asked, not fully understanding the concept.

Salter: "Well, yes and no. The grades show us you know the base knowledge of fighting and leading. We also took surveillance footage of inside the academy, showing us how differently you were treated by the other students. But, you kept pushing on, not straying from your goal. This showed us that you have what it takes to be the leader of the SDF."

"So you were spying on me essentially?"

Salter: "You can look at it that way if you want. So, are you ready to be leader of the SDF?"

You think for a minute. You can leave Union, and be leader of the SDF, or go back and continue to be treated less than dirt. You obviously pick the better option of being the leader.

"Yeah... I might have to get used to it first."

Salter: "It's alright. I had to get used to it my first day too. Now, these two..." The two robot soldiers from earlier walk up to your sides. "Ethan and Iris will bring you to the medical bay to heal your injuries and take care of that cut on your face."

You looked at the two bots, Ethan had a different build than Iris:

And Iris had a black color scheme with a red light at the top of her head. The two start escorting you. As you walked, you looked at the destroyed remains of the shipyard through the windows. But it seems like everything was being repaired. The halls you were walking through were pretty clean. Soon, you came to a medical bay. The doctor brought you to a medical bed, and stitched up the cut, and injected you with something he calls a nanoshot. You feel a lot better. Like a whole new person. Like a leader.

Like an Admiral.
