This week I was feeling a bit depressed about the lack of episodes, so I tried catching up with Arrow. I don't know if it's just me, but the recent episodes of season six have been a bit unbearable for me. Anyway, eventually I start flopping myself on my furniture, Moaning Myrtle style, when my older sister came in and asked me about my problem.
She had no idea what she was getting into.
I had launched into a full on rant when she stopped me. It was around the part of, "I'm just having such a hard time watching Arrow."
This next part is almost verbatim to what she told me, describing my favorite episode of Arrow.
Her: What if this is the episode where they're like, "we need to kill iris."
Me: if only.
Her: Like Flash versus Arrow. Arrow has to kill iris, but Barry doesn't want him to. But iris planted a chip in Barry's neck that makes her voice sound like Caitlin's, so he thinks that she's Caitlin. Arrow sees this and so he shoots Barry. Sure he loses a chunk of his neck in the process, but now he sees iris for who she really is. He looks at her and puts his vibrating hand through her chest. Arrow looks at him and says, "I know that must have been really hard for you." Then Barry goes, "No, she wasn't who I truly loved." And then he dips Caitlin in his arms and they kiss.
Me: YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BADLY I NEED THIS TO HAPPEN!
