Tori: Thanks for everyone who read my last chapter! This time we have- *drum rolls* Hakuryuu!!

Hakuryuu: Why am I here, again?

3rd person POV
(Y/n) ran through the halls and into the woods, muttering curses at a certain white-haired male.

She kept running and running until eventually she reached a waterfall. She sat down near the edge, catching her breath and washed her face.

"(Y/n)-chan? What are you doing here? This place is quite dangerous at night you know." The familiar voice of a certain black-haired male called out.

"N-nothing, I just wanted to see... T-the moon, I heard the view from here is better than any other place in the island." (Y/n) looked at her reflection in the water with sad eyes.

"I've been friends with you ever since we were little, (Y/n)-chan. I can tell you're lying. Tell me, what happened?" Shuu said softly and sat next to her. Rubbing circles on her back trying to calm her down.

"I-I don't know why this always happen... Why did it turn out like this?" She sobbed silently as her tears slowly drops into the water.

-A few hours earlier-

(Y/n)'s POV
I was walking towards the kitchen to get something to drink, when I heard some noises from the training grounds.

'It couldn't be Ancient Dark or Unlimited Shining, their training schedule ended hours ago...' Curiousity got the best of me as I walked over to the training grounds to check what was the noises I heard earlier.

As I got closer and closer, voices were getting louder and the sounds of balls being kicked were also heard.

Reaching there I was shocked beyond words. I saw Hakuryuu with a ball under his feet. But that's not what shocked me. It was the fact that the rest of the Unlimited Shining members have bruises and cuts of them. Some were just barely managing to stand up and others were on the floor, lying in pain.

"Hakuryuu, that's enough! We're all exhausted, we've been training all day!" Taki, one of Unlimited Shining's members protested.

"Stop training?! Can't any of you see that you're all too weak, none of you can keep up with me! If anything, you should be grateful that I skipped my daily training to train all of you!!" Hakuryuu shouted back at him.

"GRATEFUL?! Dan's knocked out for goodness sake! This isn't even called training anymore, all you did was order us around and kicked the ball at us whenever we do something wrong!!" He shouted furiously at him.

"What did you say?! Why you little-!"

"THAT'S ENOUGH!!" I shouted getting all their attention as I ran down to the field. "Dan! Are you okay?!" I kneeled down and asked him, seeing that he barely could move. My whole body shook in anger as I stood up and walked in front of Hakuryuu.

"What were you thinking?! Can't you see that they're all in pain?!" I shouted straight at his face.

"In pain?! It's not my fault that they're so weak!! Can't you also see that (Y/n)?!" He shouted back with even more force.

"They're not weak! Don't you see how much they've strive for this team? And this is how you repay them, by hurting them like this?! What's wrong with you?!" Tears started forming in my eyes as I looked at what my dear old friend have become.

"No, what's wrong with you?" He shot back at me, amplifying 'you' with a harsher tone. "I hate you. You're do annoying. Weren't you the one that said you'd always support me, and now you're turning your back away to me for those weaklings?" I slapped him hard, right across the face.

"W-what happened to you..." My voice breaking. "Y-you've changed for the worse. I've never wanted to believe it since a long time ago, but now it's clear to me. You've turned arrogant and selfish... Where's the sweet, kind, caring Hakuryuu that I used to know? Y-you've turned into a monster..." I choked up, pain filling my heart seeing Hakuryuu like this.

Hakuryuu's POV
I grew even more furious as I was about to yell at (Y/n) again. But then, I was cut off... By the tears that were streaming down her face. Regret filled my entire body as I realized what I had just done.

"(Y-Y/n), I-I... D-didn't mean... To-" Words were stuck in my throat. I lifted my hand up trying to wipe away her tears. As my hand was getting closer, she took steps back and slapped my hand away.

"Just stop..." I heard her muttered out. "Just stop already... Just leave me alone... " She said before running off.

It felt like time slowed down and the whole world just suddenly turned grey for me as I saw her silhouette fading away.

'What have I done?'

-Back to the present-

3rd person's POV
"So that's what happened..." Shuu sighed and hugged (Y/n), trying to comfort her.

"H-he used to be so sweet and kind... Why did it turn out this way" (Y/n) said with shaky breaths. Shuu knew of (Y/n)'s feelings towards Hakuryuu ever since they were little. And now, knowing that same person have also crushed her heart, made his blood boil with anger.

'Hakuryuu, you idiot. I can't believe you'd treat her this way...' Shuu proceeding to continue rubbing circles on (Y/n)'s back to comfort her.

Unbeknownst to the two, a certain white-haired male was hiding behind the trees - eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Why don't we head back to the dormitory? I'll accompany you to your room if you want." Shuu offered, which was returned by a simple nod

-Time Skip-

(Y/n)'s POV
"Sorry for making you company me here, Shuu." I apologized, but also felt thankful that he did.

"No problem. If you need any help, just give me a call and I'll be right there." He reassured me with his bright smile. "Well, good night."

"Good night." I closed the door and sat on my bed getting ready to sleep when I heard someone knocking.

'Maybe Shuu forgot something...'

I opened the door and saw Hakuryuu there. I immediately went to close the door, but not before he held a grip on it and slid in open.

"Can we talk... Please? It's important..." He said with pleading eyes. I hate him for what he did back at the field but I can't say no to him either.

"10 minutes. I'll only give you 10 minutes." I breathed out, hoping that I won't regret this decition.

"Thank you." I let him in and we sat on my bed.

"I'm... I'm sorry for I said to you earlier... I really didn't mean it. I'm sorry..." He started. "I was furious when I was called out for being 'arrogant and selfish', but now I've realized that what you said was true. And instead of controlling my emotions, it got the better of me and I lashed out to you for no reason. I can't expect you to forgive me easily, but I hope that we can still have be friends..." He finished as I thought over it.

I would definitely forgive him but then, I remembered his words... He hates me. Even if he didn't mean it, it hurts a lot. I clenched my hands, remembering those words.

"To me..." I heard him continue "It felt like the whole stopped and turned bland when you ran off. I immediately regret what I said to you when I saw you were crying. I felt like a lowest of all scums when I saw you like that. I promised myself a long time ago that I'll make sure you stay happy - to stay by your side forever..."

I blushed as he said that, "H-Hakuryuu... What are you-?" I was cut off my him grabbing both my shoulders and directing me to face him.

"I like you!"

'Hakuryuu... Likes me?'

"I have always liked you since we were little, but never had the courage to confess. I was so obsessed to be the strongest so that I can impress you... but I can see that back fired... I don't expect you to like me either after what I said to you... But I want you to remember that."

My mind was trying to process everything he just said.

"Well, it's getting late... I'll take my leave now..." He stood up and went towards the door. As soon as he opened the door, I ran over to him and hugged him from behind.

"Wha-?!"

"... I like you, too..."

"... Really? I thought you would hate me honestly..." He tried hiding his smile, but I can clearly see that he was happy.

"It's almost midnight, you have practice tomorrow. And you better say sorry to everyone, too."

"Yeah, I will. Good night, (Y/n)."

"Good night, Hakuryuu." I closed the door.

"Ah wait, I forgot one more thing." He smirked.

"What is it?"

"This."

He leaned in and closed the gap between us. And I kissed him back

Ryouhei: Great job, Tori.

Tori: Thanks, I meant to finish this earlier though... *sulk*

Ryouhei: You have a lot of projects already, I'm sure everyone can understand.

Tori: I guess, but still-!

Ryouhei: That's enough. Go to room and take a break. I'll wrap things up for today.

Tori: Hmm.. Okay~ Thanks Ryou. *kiss cheek and leaves*
