Mitsuru's POV

"I can't wait to watch your match! Thanks for letting me come along with you guys!"

"Yup! Score a lot for me and (Y/n) again, okay?"

"Of course! I'll keep scoring lots of points!!"

"Haha! Brother, how about this time you-"

"WATCH OUT! MITSURU, HIKARU!!"

CRASH

"Mitsuru... Are you okay..."

"What about you?! Stay with me!!"

"Help me... Brother..."

"Hang in there, Hikaru! I'll save both of you no matter what! Hikaru! (Y/n)!"

"NO!"

I panted heavily, trying to calm myself down as I realized it was all a dream.

"It's that dream again." Looking up I saw a small paper with writing on it,

"I went out to start training for the upcoming match. Ichihoshi-kun, you should come join us once you're awake." Was written on it.

How naive of them. They know that I'm the enemy. I don't need a place to belong. I will save Hikaru and (Y/n). I'll do whatever it takes. No matter how low I become.

I passed through the training grounds, seeing them practicing for the next match.

'I have to eliminate them from the competition fast... or else they will...

No! I mustn't think of these thoughts. They'll be fine, as long I complete the mission, they'll be fine.'

Putting the negative thoughts out of my head. I continue to spy on them, getting as much information as I can.

-Time Skip to next day-

"You were able to set a date for Hikaru's surgery and get (Y/n) new medications?!"

"That's right. The surgeon finally have availability in their schedule. They also just so happen to have new medication supplies as well. "

"That means that they will..." I exclaimed in relieve.

"Yes. They will be saved. But only if they're there for it. If you fail this time, this chance may not come until several years in the future."

If I don't do this then, they both will...

"What do I have to do, sir?" I clenched my hands.

-Time Skip-

After the small meeting, I went to the hospital. Making my way to one of the hospital rooms.

I stood in front of the room that was labeled "(L/n) (Y/n)". Opening the door, the female with (h/l)(h/c) rests on the bed. I grabbed a chair and sit next to her as she sleeps peacefully.

"Hey (Y/n), how are you?" I looked to the floor, knowing that she won't be able to hear me.

"I got news from the director, he got new medications for you. He also said that Hikaru's date for the surgery have also been set."

I looked up and admired her face. How I want to see her beautiful (e/c) orbs again. She have been in a coma ever since that accident. Pain started growing in me as tears start to form in my eyes.

I clenched my fist in both anger and regret. "Why did it have to be you, why can't it be me instead?" I stood up and hugged her close.

"Please wake up soon... It's not the same without here..." Tears started to stream down my face.

"So please... Wake up, (Yg/n)... Please!"

(Y/n)'s POV

It's so lonely. This place is all dark and cold. Where is everyone? I miss them...

More thoughts filled my head until,

"Why did it have to be you, why can't it be me instead?"

That voice... I know that voice... Could it be?

I felt a nice calming warmth slowly surrounding me. There's only one person that can give me warmth like this...

'It's Mitsuru! I want to see him again. No, I need to see him again. Wake up, wake up! I have to see him!' My eyes felt heavy, like they have weights on them.

"Please wake up soon... It's not the same without here..."

I felt a warm liquid on my cheek. Is he... crying? I have to wake up, I must. Come on! WAKE UP!!

"So please... Wake up, (Y/n)... Please!"

I heard as I saw a light that slowly starts to envelop me...

"Mitsuru..."

Mitsuru's POV

Tears continue to stream down my face as I continued holding her close, begging that she'll open her eyes.

"Mitsuru..."

'Eh? That voice is...'

I pulled back and saw beautiful (e/c) eyes open. I didn't break eye contact and neither did she.

"(Y/n)... I-is it really you..." I stuttered out, hands holding her shoulder shaking. Fearing that this was all another dream.

"Mitsuru... I miss you..." She spoke softly as she puts her hands on mine and smiled.

'It's real, it's really her.' More tears started streaming down as I looked at her in disbelief.

"Mitsuru, are you oka-" I cut her off by cupping her face and kissing her.

Right before I pulled away, she kissed back. Me still keeping her close as she snuggled into my chest.

"I miss you so much... It was so dark without you here..."

"Sorry, but I'm here now, right?" As I tighten my embrace slightly - careful to not hurt her.

"Yeah.... You won't go again, will you?" I asked, my body trembling in fear that she'll be gone again.

"Never. I'll always be by your side." She ensured while tightening her embrace on me, calming me down.

"Thank you, I love you (Y/n)..."

"I love you, too, Mitsuru."
