Graduation Day at St. Xavier's

College days.. The best days of anyone's life..because there is no restriction on students unlike schools.. College days makes every student a free bird ..who just wants to fly high in the open sky..with the large wings..

But when its the final day ..to say good bye to your college ..is actually the toughest phase of anyone's life.. So the scenario in St. Xavier's is not at all different.. It's the best college of Cape town.. Students are all emotional today because finally they are graduated and they had to leave for their respective places leaving so many memories over here ..and some taking back with them..

A girl standing in the corner with loads of friends..giggling ...laughing..cracking jokes.. Seems like unlike others ..she is very happy today..well! Why won't she be happy?.. After all she is finally a graduate ..that too without any back in any subject..well! This is really a celebration time for Nandini murthy .. The main protagonist of this story..

Nandini Murthy :

A girl full of life..wherever she goes..she spread happiness all over.. She is a kind of girl every boy desire of.. Nandini murthy is the star diva of St. Xavier's ..dream of every boy ..but a far fetched one.. She is fun loving...very friendly.. But but ..very weak in academics..

"You know ..I thought ..am going to repeat my whole graduation once again.. Oh lord! How I actually passed??".. She was telling with over dramatic tone ..and her friends giggled on her statement.. Even they know.. How she actually passed ..

Just then they heard the announcement by the respected dean..who seems to be more happy today..

" and the best student of 2016 goes to none other than Manik Malhotra " .. He announced happily...and Nandini smiled broadly .. As a tall boy walked towards the stage to receive his award..

Manik Malhotra :

The star student of St. Xavier's but not a popular one.. He is very studios boy..with a very reserved nature..he hardly interacts with anyone..his life start from books and end there only..

"I wonder..what he eats In his breakfast?.. Like seriously.. He has won all the best student award throughout our graduation..must say..this man is genius..".. She said in humor but her friends giggled and there Manik took his award..and after thanking dean..he went down the stage..

" by the way Nans..don't you think..you should thank him?".. Her friend jenny asked..and Nandini gave a confusion look..

Nandini : "thank him but for what?".. She asked narrowing her gaze on jenny..

Jenny : " oh Jesus! What shall I do with this girl?.. Nans ..he is your savior..you copied down everything from his answer sheet..and he never complained..so don't you think..you should thank him?".. She told them..and Nandini bite her tongue ..as she actually forgot this truth..

Nandini : "ya jenny..you have a point..will definitely thank him..after all its the last day.."...she said sadly and hugged her roommate Jenny tightly..

On the other hand..

Farewell party is in full swing..everyone is trying to make as many memories as they can..

Here Manik is all restless .. He was fighting with his inner turmoil..he isn't able to answer his own questions..

Manik : " should I go or not?.. But she don't even know me?.. What will she think about me?".. He thought in his heart..being a naive sweet boy..he was hesitating in approaching a girl..

This hesitation is in him from last 3 years.. A girl he always admire.. A girl who is apple of his eye.. After his lovable books..his eyes only falls on her.. She is the star of St. Xavier's ..so he was always hesitant to reach out..but as today is the last day..so he thought to at least talk to her once ..after all ..In his whole life time..he first time had a deep crush on some girl..

Just when he was lost in his own dilemma ..he felt a tap on his shoulder ..and when he turned around..he found his star standing in front of him..with a huge smile on her face.. That peaceful smile on her face always fascinated him..and her one look is enough to make him go on his knees..

Nandini : "hi..am Nandini..".. She forwarded her hand to him..and he took aback..here he was thinking ..whether he should go and talk with her or not..and here she herself came to him..and initiated the conversation..

He hesitatingly shake hand with her..and she smiled seeing him so reserved.. He felt a unknown pleasure inside him..when for the very first time her hands meet his..then she pulled her hand back..and he looked at that glowing smile on her face..

Nandini : " main thank you bolne aayi thi..".. She came straight to the point..And he looked confused..

Manik : "thank you?.. " He asked being totally clueless..

Nandini : "Han..woh you always let me cheat from your paper na..that's why..".. She said with a grin..like she not did cheating but actually she received a Oscar award..

He smiled listening that ..

Manik : " it's okay..no need of thank you and all..".. Slowly and slowly he is opening up..and she is loving the change..

Nandini : "so ..aaj last day hai..tomorrow don't know where we all will be..so why not making some great memories ?".. She exclaimed in joyous tone and he smiled looking at that baby inside her.. Such a lively girl she is.. When she is around..no one can be sad.. She is like magic band..which when revolve around..create a spell..and here she herself is a magic..

Manik : " even I want some good memories..which I can take with me..".. He said abruptly totally lost in her shining smile..

Nandini : "okay then..let's explore Cape town ..what's say?.. I know a place...which you will love for sure.. So chale?".. She said so suddenly that ..he wasn't able to even ponder on her offer..he too said yes..after all..he wanted to spend some quality of time with her ...

And they both walked out from St. Xavier's ..

Kirstenbosch Gardens :-

They reached the most blissful garden of cape Town..

Manik was speechless after the seeing the greenery ..the aroma all around..it was so heart soothing ..he smiled to fullest..

Manik : " this is blissful".. He said while looking all around ..

Nandini : " I told you ".. She answer with a glint on her face..then they both walked towards the bench..and sat down comfortably.. Soon they both were indulged in their talks..both were talking freely as if they know each other from ages..

Nandini : " and from then..Bhai stopped me from going in kitchen..as he thinks am a disaster queen..".. She told him one of her prank ..and he was laughing..her smile was making him bounded with her..

Manik : "so you love your Bhai..way too much.. Isn't it?".. He asked as from past one hour she is only talking about her lovable brother..and his pampering to her..

Nandini : " yes! I love him very much..he isn't only my bro..but my father..my mother..my sister..my best friend.. He is my world..he always comprehend my silence..he is love Manik.. ".. She told him with a alluring smile on her face...and he can feel that true love in her voice..

Manik : " he is lucky to have you..and so as you..".. He said in genuine tone..

Nandini : "woh toh hai..so tum batao kuch apne baarei mei?".. She asked and till now Manik has become very comfortable with her..

Manik : " mere baarei Mei? ..meri life mei kuch exciting nhi hai.. Its all very ordinary..".. He answered and she chuckled..

Nandini : "you no what Manik?.. Don't keep so many boundaries around yourself..open your arms..and let all the free air touch you.. Fir dekhna tumhari ordinary life kese exciting ho Jati hai..".. She told him and stood up..

She opened her arms fully..he was looking at her intently..she closed her eyes..and a cold breeze touched her face..making her hairs fly in the air..talking with that pair of wind..while Manik was busy in admiring her..

She turned around and held his hand.. He was startled but then he too stood up.. She gestured him to open his arms..and he complied..he opened his both arms..and closed his eyes..as soon as that cold breeze touched him..he felt an unknown pleasure..an unknown peace ..he never ever felt in his life..for a brief moment he was taken away to some other world..

Nandini : " live this life..its worth living.. Believe in yourself.. Boost your energy and do what your heart says.. " .. She said in a very soft tone.. And her words left a big impact on him..he was feeling something very abnormal today.. But whatever the change created inside him today..he was loving that change to the core..

He opened his eyes..and she came In front of him..with a shining face..

Manik : "thank you Nandini..".. For the first time he called her name and she smiled too fullest..

Nandini : " my pleasure Mr. Malhotra.. ".. She said with a grin..and both laughed..

After spending some quality time.. She saw her wrist watch..and panicked..

Nandini : " oh no..I have a flight to catch..bye ".. She freaked out And stood up from the floor and started walking away from him..

Manik : " are! But listen ".. He stopped her..and she turned around..her hairs flowed in air..and he was once again clean bold..

Nandini : 'kya hua?".. She asked standing a little far from him...

Manik : " woh..at least give me your contact number or address ..so that we can remain in touch..".. He said totally opened up without any shy..

Nandini : "number ki kya jarurat hai.. Agar kismat ne chaha toh hum phir jarur milenge.." .. She answered and waved to him..then walked out from there..

Manik looked in the direction where she was going..until she vanished in the crowd..

Manik : "kismat?.. Kya hum sach mei milenge dubara?".. He thought in his heart..and a shy smile crept on his lips..

Screen freezes on his blushing face..

Here comes my another story..so tell me how's it?.. Isn't Manik and Nandini are cute here?.. Hehehe I just love blushing manik..an innocent one..
