To know that you have the liberty and control to be the best you in times of despair

Is everything I want to be

To love me at my worst is so fucking beautiful

I have the freedom to love myself in pain

In times when the black hole is threatening to swallow me whole

And when the rain seems never ending

And the lights so fucking dim

My breath threatens to escape but nothing is holding me here

Holding me here to this earth I call home

But nothing can't compare to loving me at my worst

Because it is so damn beautiful
