Epilogue

Dear Natalya and Constantin,

I am sorry that I had left without letting you know. I know that I have unfinished business with Alpha Natalya. I promised that in time, I will return and receive the punish that I deserve. I never meant to harm Constantin. My intentions were good although I should have done better in giving you the cure. I hope that you two receive only happiness in your life from now on because you two deserve it more than anything.

Until we meet again,

Misha

Natalya wanted to be angry with Misha but she found she held no malice for the woman, maybe her anger had disappeared with all that has happened. It could also possibly be that she was just happy. For the first time in forever, she was not worried about what will happen in the future or that she will be alone. For the first time ever she had hope.

Constantin looked at the letter and she could see the sorrow that reflected in her mate's eyes. By now, she knows that Constantin only loves her and the love he had for Misha was more like a sister and brother affection.

She turned around and wrapped her arms around her mate to give him comfort. He sighed and hugged her tighter.

"She had always been alone all her life. She was born a healer. She was given the ability to take away people's pain but wasn't given the chance to have a soulmate like you and me. I have known Misha for a very long time and I know the woman harbors a very desperate desire to be loved. I just hope that she finds it soon." Constantin said quietly.

"Now if you put it that way, how can I stay mad at her?" Natalya smiled into her mate's chest. She felt his chest rumbled as he laughed.

"You can't. She is a good person, Natalya. You know it too." He pointed out.

And indeed she did. She could sense that Misha meant no harm even though her wolf wouldn't mind ruffling up the female wolf a little, she knew for a fact that Misha was not evil.

Several months later

Constantin was working hard in building a playground the young pups. Some warriors helped carried wood around and others started sanding down a few logs.  Natalya came out of the pack house to find her mate sweaty and shirtless.

"Constantin!" She shouted as she made her way down the hill. A small bump now visible underneath her t-shirt. She was no more than several months along but anybody can already see that their Alpha was pregnant.

He looked up and wiped the sweat from his forehead and underneath his chin. He frowned as he quickly made his way towards her. Natalya's pregnancy in the first two months were terrifying. She had a subchorionic hemorrhage on the sac  that was attached to her uterus wall that wouldn't go away. The doctor ordered to be on bed rest and to not lift anything heavy. Of course, the damn Alpha wouldn't listen and sit still.

Constantin was already running up the hill to catch up to the pregnant woman. He swooped her up gently into his arm. She slapped his chest hard.

"Put me down, you crazy male." She growled.

"No. What are you doing out here? You know that you should be in bed." Constantin said worriedly.

"I'm getting so bored, Constantin. I don't want to stay in the bedroom. I want to do something. I needed some air." She whined.

"You know that it is important that you remain on bed rest. We don't want to do anything to harm the child." Constantin spoke to her like she was a child.

She pouted like a child. "I haven't bled for a few days now."

"You haven't bled heavily for a few days now." He corrected her.

She rolled her eyes. "It is a good sign, right?"

"Yes." He replied with his own smile. "But it doesn't mean we are out of the loop yet. Now please do your poor mate some mercy and allow me to carry you back upstairs to our bed where you are safe-"

"No way, Constantin. If you are going to make me stay upstairs alone again then I am going to jump out the window and run away." She threatened.

His eyes widened and she tried so hard not to want to touch him all over. His muscles were bulging so seductively that even with sweat it was driving her hormones crazy. She licked her lips like she was going to eat a very tasty dessert and her eyes glinted with a new emotion.

"Natalya." He warned the minute he saw how she looked at him.

She blinked and looked up at him innocently. "What?"

"I know that look, babe. We can't do it. Doctors orders."

"I'm beginning to hate that doctor. I'm going to fire him." She demanded and her eyebrows crinkled with frustration.

He burst out laughing already making his way towards the pack house. She decided to let him take her upstairs. Her hands were busy touching him all over anyways. He groaned and she watched him bite his bottom lip.

"Stop, Natalya."

"But I need you." She looked upset.

"But we can't even if I wanted to." He looked frustrated. She sighed and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Alright but as soon as this goes away you are going to make it up to me." She patted his chest.

He chortled. "That is a promise I will definitely follow up on."

They finally made it to the bedroom where he walked over and lay her down on the bed gently. She sat with her arms crossed as she watched him walk around the room. When he came back he carried a canvas and some painting materials and placed it in her lap with a towel carefully laid underneath to stop any paint from falling on her.

"What is this?" She looked at him confused.

He smiled as he knelt down beside her. "Why don't you paint a few paintings to put in our pup's room?"

It was an excellent idea and a million things ran through her mind as she made herself comfortable and started prepping to paint. He watched her work for a long time, unmoving. After several minutes she stopped to look at him confused.

"Did you need anything?" She asked.

He laughed. "No. I don't need anything. It is just relaxing to watch you work. You are mesmerizing when you paint."

She blushed and he leaned in to kiss her lips before brushing his nose against her nose in an Eskimo kiss.

"I love you, Natalya."

"I love you too, Constantin."

He still didn't move and it was her turn to giggle. "Are you sure there isn't something I can help you with?"

He sighed and moved to the other side of the bed where he crawled in and sat close to her. His head resting on her shoulder.

"No, nothing at all. I just bring myself to leave your side. Continue working. I won't interrupt you." He urged her and turned to kiss her cheek.

She laughed before continuing her painting. Natalya and Constantin's life was perfect and now they were going to receive an addition to their family. Again, life was perfect.
