My heart began to beat as I felt his breath against my neck , shivers going up and down my spine

The baby dragons didn't seem to realise the pause between us and ran for him , playfully knocking us both around before tumbling down to the floor , this seemed so cliche when I looked down at his face

My body pressed against his and he stared at me , he didn't push me away as I expected but his grip tightened on me and I should be jumping up and getting away but I didn't

My body felt heavy like led and it refused to move, he slowly started to sit up and I followed his actions , my face turning to a flush red

I turned my face away and struggled to get up again but tumbled right back down , grazing my palms on the dry floor , I winced at the burning sensation and rubbed at the pain

His hands reached for my bruised ones and he examined my hand , he rubbed at the skin and he scoffed "your hands are so soft ... You probably haven't worked a day in your life" he remarked

A spark of irritation shot through me , biting my lip so I don't swear at him , I chuckled sarcastically "well when your a princess and the help is offered to you , why not?" I raised an eyebrow at him

He looked up at me for a second , his eyes flickering to my lips before smirking , he pressed at the wound and I winced again , he chuckled at my reaction before standing up and pulling me up with him

"Let's get this cleaned up" he directed his gaze to my hand and pulled me behind him , his grip loosening and finally letting go
