You wake up, blinking at the white ceiling, "Where..." You breathe trying to sit up.
"Easy, stay down ___." A familiar voice soothes and you look over at the silver eyed guy.
"Law? Wh-What happened?" You ask tearing up.
"You were missing for two days, why are you crying? Did something more happen?" He asks softly, wiping your eyes.
"I-I don't know... I'm just happy to see you... I was scared." You sniffle, shaking slightly. He softens and smiles, brushing some hair away from your face.
"I'm happy to see you too, I was worried." He breathes softly. There's a ruckus outside the door and he rolls his eyes as your friends and family parade into the room.
"___!"
"You're okay! What happened!?"
"Back off, she just woke up." Zoro growls at the others.
"We were so worried!" Nami, Usopp and Chopper cry hugging you. Law frowns at them.
"Alright everyone back up and give her room." Law's dad says walking in. They do so and he smiles at you. " You're free to go when you're ready, you were in perfect health when they found you."
"Its weird we found you exactly where I saw you hiding before you disappeared... You sure You don't remember what happened?" Law asks you. You shift, only recalling the demons, but that had to have been a dream right?
"Sorry.... I don't.... Can I have my clothes? I want to go home." You frown. Everyone glances at the hospital gown.
"Alright."

"Welcome home! Your friend has been waiting since this morning in your room." Your mom hugs you tightly. You blink in confusion, you had seen all of your friends at the hospital, so who...
"It's about time you woke up best friend." A familiar voice rumbles and you feel a chill go down your spine as you look over at the red haired guy.
"Y-You..." You whisper as he smiles.
"Kid here was the one who took you to the search party, he was so worried about you that he wants to stay here for a bit and make sure you're all well." Your dad says. This was insane, this can't be happening.
"I'll get you some clothes ready, you probably need to shower right?" Kid smiles at you.
"I-I can get them." You say swiftly going to your room. He follows after you smirking.
"You have such a boring room by the way, nothing interesting. At all... Though that journal you keep under the dresser was funny. You're very innocent." He chuckles closing your door behind him as you whirl around to face him.
"Who the hell are you? And why are you here?" You question.
"I told you not to forget about me." He smirks letting his demon features out. You step back swiftly shaking your head. "And I'm Eustass Kid."
"No... Youre-"
"That wasn't a dream sweetheart. And I've decided to stay here for now to get used to this new world. It was easy to manipulate your parents into letting me stay after all." He smirks again.
"... This was not part of the deal!"
"Exactly. If you wanted me to leave you alone forever you should've said so." He leans near your face.
"I-I'm going to take shower now..." You sigh, arguing with him was clearly pointless.
"Mm can't wait." His gaze flickers over you again.
"Y-You can't come!" You gasp. He raises a smug eyebrow.
"And you're going to stop me?" He inquires gripping your chin. "Don't make me laugh. And don't try to tell me what to do. You wouldn't be here without me." He releases your chin. You shift and put your clothes down before sitting down on your bed looking down at the floor. This was a nightmare... Kid blinks frowning heavily. "Geez what a weakling, fine I won't intrude this time so stop crying."
You give him a slight glare before going into the bathroom and taking the longest shower you could. You sat hugging your knees under the cool water, mind blank because you didn't want to maul over questions you didn't have the answers to. "Hey, what the hell are you doing in here?" The demon questions coming in. You jump slightly looking at him hugging your knees tighter.
"You said you wouldn't come in!" You remind him.
"Demons lie sweet heart." He responds turning off the water before crouching beside the shower. "Would you relax, I'm not a lust demon like that one. I just like to tease you, You humans are funny." He grabs a towel and tosses it on you. "Now come out, your parents are making you food." He adds going out. You relax once he closes the door before carefully getting dressed.
"Maybe it'll be okay..." You mutter before going out to find your cat and Kid hissing at each other. You swiftly scoop up your cat, ignoring as he claws you. "Leave Lala alone!" You snap, making them both stop. Kid raises an eyebrow at you, not responding as his tail fishes out the journal from under the dresser and opening it. He reads over a page before giving you a look.
"Trafalgar Law.... You named your cat after this guy?" He questions. You blush lightly.
"No I didn't!" You defend. He snaps the journal close and puts it back in its hiding place. "Stop reading my journal!"
"Whatre you going to do about it?" He rumbles stepping closer, looking down at you challenging. You pale slightly and swallow. He smirks, "Food's ready." He says before going out. You relax looking at Lala with a frown before falling after Kid. You watched him during dinner, he seemed like a regular guy to your parents, and for a moment you didn't see his demon side.
You said goodnight to your parents after dinner, feeling exhausted after everything. You walk into your room, pausing when you find Kid already asleep in your bed. Before you can say something to him your cellphone starts to play My Addiction by Shallow Side. You swiftly answer it, "H-Hey, everything alright?" You ask softly.
"I was just calling to ask you the same thing... How are you?" Law asks. You look to Kid to make sure he was still asleep before turning away.
"I've been better... But it's not as bad as it could've been." You admit quietly.
"What do you mean? Did you remember something?" He inquires.
"Kinda.... Don't worry about it, I'm alright now thanks to... Anyway I'm checking in now so-"
"W-wait! I was going to ask if you wanted to come to orientation with me, school starts in a few days remember?" He says swiftly.
"O-oh yeah! Sure, I'd lo- I'd really like to go with you." You stammer blushing. You hear a soft chuckle on the other end and smile.
"Good, I'll be there around ten tomorrow morning okay?" He hums.
"Alright... Goodnight Law, I hope you sleep well." You breathe.
"Sweet dreams. ____." He murmurs before hanging up. You smile at the picture on your phone happily for a moment.
"Sweet dreams ____." The demon on your bed mocks, sounding just like Law. You stiffen and look back at him as his lip curls. "What a fucking joke, that guy sounds like a weirdo." He snorts rolling over. You glower at him before grabbing your pjs and starting for the door to go to the guest room. There's a click as you grab the door knob and it refuses to turn. You try with all your might before sighing.
"Why?" You question not looking at him.
"I'm in your bed for a reason, now come sleep." He chuckles peering back at you. You glance at him with a heavy frown before deciding to curl up in front of the door. For a moment you felt the room heat up and a feeling of anger spike just before Kid got up and came over, crouching beside you. "Such a disobedient weakling.." He growls through clenched teeth, a smile was on his lips but you could tell he was suddenly very annoyed with you. You shrink back as much as you can but he picks you up and tosses you on your bed before laying down beside you. You turn so your back faced him but you can still feel his body heat.
He scared you, and took advantage of that and the major power difference between you and him. You bit your lip, curling up. "Why are you doing this?" You whisper shaking.
"Because I can. Now go to sleep."
