A few hours later Jean Klee and Lisa come back with Diluc and find still tied up  just starring at them. But Albedo looked horrible and uneasy he was completely covered in black like looking into a void the only parts not effected was his parts of his arms and his face but his eyes were black and his neck was snapped to the side.

Jean : I.....,. albedo?"

Albedo : I .....I'm okay..... minor mishap....."

Lisa : what happened?"

Albedo : I saw someone and followed them....I was pushed off the cliff I thought I died.....but it seems if harmed by an infected and the goop gets into a wound you become infected and become almost invincible to damage."

Diluc : what....."

Albedo : did they not explain to you?"

Diluc : they did but this is crazy"

Lisa : how are you still you?"

Albedo : I'm guessing the infection is not as strong on non humans. And I'm referring it to an infection because doing some work that's what this acts like"

Diluc then looked at Kaeya who just didn't stop looking at them. But tilted his head seeing him.

Diluc : ....is he aware of anything?"

Albedo : he stopped attacking when Klee hugged him. A part of his is still Kaeya but the rest is the infection.

What i found out on my way back here is fire is a weakness it hurts. But the cold seems to calm us. Much like an infection cold slows the spread and heat kills it"

Diluc : how do we fix this?"

Albedo. : I'm not sure......"

Lisa : how do you feel?"

Albedo : Nothing ........ nothing but pain.....and agony....like a constant nagging feeling......."

Klee :  you'll be okay big brother?"

Albedo : yes ........for  now....I'm okay........"

Jean : I have the knights keeping an eye on everything I've also have them telling everyone to stay inside until this is over"

Albedo : for now me and Kaeya will remain her-

Suddenly Aether ran over with paimon Ayaka and  Thoma and they immediately saw Both Kaeya and Albedo.

Paimon : it spread....."

Jean : you now what caused this?"

Ayaka : it started with my brother something happened to him we Don't know what but he turned into that and started hurting people and turning them."

Klee : he attack big brother kaeya....."

Albedo : I was infected through Kaeya like I told them.....I think because I'm not human I still have some self control. But .. about what you said. It seems like your brother is patient zero."

Thoma : before we left we told the Raiden shogun and she put inazuma on lockdown not allowing anyone to exit or leave"

Alebdo : everyone needs to be warned,......I also think the only way we'll find a way to cure this and stop this is by capturing your brother"

Ayaka : I Don't understand why this is happening or what took over Ayato"

Albedo : whatever did it's like a parasite infection which would make Ayato the hive mind.

Jean : ...... how did you Ayato would be here"

Aether : we saw him leave on a boat to Mondstadt"

Jean : there's only one ship that was coming here in this.....but during that it was taking a stop by sumeru before here"

Albedo : he most likely spread it there"

Aether : me and paimon can go check it out"

A few days later in sumeru Tignari was with Collei Al haitham and Kaveh in the sumeru dessert looking for Cyno who's been missing after just doing some work in the dessert a few days ago.

Nobody has been able to find him and Tignari and Collei were really worried.

Tignari.  : it's not like him to just vanish like this. I just know something isn't right."

Collei : what could have happened to him....."

Al haitham  : I'm sure it's n-

Kaveh. : guys......"

Suddenly they came across a trail of bodies of Eremites.

Tignari : Kaveh watch Collei...."

He nodded as him and Al haitham went over to see what was further and ended up seeing Cyno but he wasn't him anymore.

Cyno's face was gone replace with only thoses black pupil eyes. His head peice and claws black as a void dripping black goo and he was covered in blood.

Suddenly he immediately started attacking Tignari and Al haitham and they quickly dodged while fighting back trying to stop him and not understanding what was even happening.

Tignari tried talking to Cyno tried getting him to stop but he wouldn't stop. No matter what he said.

And as they fought Al haitham got knocked back hitting a rock with his head and falling unconscious and then Cyno attention went full on Tignari fighting him and knocking him to the ground hitting him and trying to kill him.
And Tignari held him back with his bow trying to talk sense into Cyno to no avail.

Tignari : please!..... please Cyno snap out of it ..... remember me please!......I love you!"

As Cyno was about to kill him he glanced down Tignari blocking him with his bow and saw his hands and saw their wedding ring.

And in that split second he remembered that day they got married but it was so foggy and distorted but he remembered. He remembered how happy he was how much he loved Tignari.

He then leaned down and touched Tignari's face thinking before getting off him. And backing away towards a cliff.

Tignari : cyno........what are y-

In that split second Cyno fell back off  the cliff  and Tignari watched in horror as he did so.

Tignari : NO!!!!"

He quickly ran over to the edge and looked down and started crying not believing what just happened. And Collei ran over to Tignari hugging him trying to comfort him.
While Kaveh went to check on Al haitham
