—-9's POV—-

I don't really want to go home yet. It's still early, and it's relaxing outside. I leave after helping with cleaning up. But where to go.. I check my phone for the location I wanted to go to. River 87 is in area 45 near street 12. Not too far away.. I call a taxi and wait.

I wonder where the others are now, and what they're doing. One might be with Two, learning how to dance. Three might be with Four, teasing him with a round thing. Six might be playing a game with Eight and Ten. Five might be practicing her hand jive in front of Seven.. and here I am, standing here alone waiting for a taxi. My taxi is coming. It stops beside me and I step inside. It's colder than I expected it would be. Zero, my driver, stays silent on the drive as I watch buildings rush past the window.

I wonder if any other Numberhuman is feeling the same thing as I am, and is just hiding it like I'm doing.. I wonder if— oh. The taxi has already slowed down to a total stop.

I pay Zero and disinfect my hands before getting out of the car. It's so nice here. Just me and my thoughts near a peacefully flowing river. I take a seat on one of the benches and think.. Why can't it be like this all the time?.. Is my situation that bad that I can't even relax? What's one way to prove it to myself that it's gonna be alright?...... I know. I stand up and—

"Ahh.. AAAACHOO!"

Some people around me are staring. Ugh, This is so awkward! I use alcohol on my hands and run away, to the nearest hospital.

—-10's POV—-

"Oh no! I'm gonna lose!" Six, Eight and I are playing a board game where I was about to be defeated, and it was Six's turn. Six beat me with a quick movement.

"Yes!" Said Six in pride. Eight was clapping. "Good game! Make sure to practice your aim, Ten! See you again!"

"Good game indeed! See you tomorrow!" I said as I grab my jetpack and fly into the air. I love it up here. So windy and refreshing! Now, which direction is my home? I look around. To my left, I see a white house with a red roof in the distance. There it is!

I make the usual ride home, looking down at all the buildings I pass.

Red and orange.. that's One and Two's house! Lovebirds, they are.

Yellow and green. Three and Four's house. They kinda have a love-hate relationship. I chuckle to myself a bit. Purple and pink.. Six and Eight's home. They seem a really unlikely pair. Colorful.. that's Five and Seven's home. I didn't expect them to become a pair too.

Oh, here I am! Right above my home, I use a small parachute to glide down.

I enter my home. I keep my jetpack in a cardboard box and stuff the parachute inside as well. I go down to the kitchen and make some food for dinner.

After eating, I check my window to see if Nine is home. You see, I live here alone, but I have Nine as my neighbor.

His house is mostly different shades of gray as it's his favorite color. But his lights are off. He likes to stay up until 10:30 or more, so he's probably not home yet. I yawn as I headed towards my bathroom and brush my teeth before going to my bedroom to sleep.

I love beds. They're so comfortable and so the pillows are so fluffy. I pull up my blanket and soon I'm fast asleep—

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP!

What is it now?.. I grab my phone and turn it on. Oh, Three is calling. Is it really thaturgent? I reluctantly answer the call and say "Yes?" as politely as I can.

"Umm, have you seen the news earlier?"

"No, I haven't."

"Well, there's another COVID-19 case. And this one's severe."

"Oh great."

"..that's all I need to say. Ok bye Ten—"

"Wait! Why did you call me so late?"

"I wanted to annoy you~"

"Are.. you.. kidding.. me.."

"Just kidding! I forgot to call you earlier, calm down!"

"Ok, thanks a lot."

"You're very welcome, from the best Numberhuman in Numberland!"

"You're not the best—"

She hung up already. Three can be annoying at times. And she can brag at times. I put my phone down and try to relax. And soon I'm fast asleep. For real this time.
