Chloe is in a sleeping bag and notices her surroundings. Chloe sees Tess and Joel up waiting for ellie to wake up.
Chloe's thoughts + There's no way she's immune ! I'm heard the " save the world " scenario in so many situations I don't know what to believe. Being immune ? There's no such thing as being immune, if you turn, What's there to add? Maybe her immunity is why the fireflies took her in? I mean I knew Ellie I'm school when she would always hang out with Riley but we didn't really talk?

Chloe watched Tess and Joel point a gun at Ellie and Chloe slowly takes her gun out of her jacket. Chloe hops out of the sleeping bag and points the gun at Joel. " I'd like to go home. " said Chloe. Ellie looks shocked. " ask me that in a year " said Joel. " if you work with us you may be able to go home sooner" said Tess. " bull! Id like to go home now." Chloe said. "I knew your mom Chloe she looks identical to you. Lila was the sweetest. " Tess replied.

Chloe ran to the restroom and slammed the door. Chloe cried and cried for about ten minuets. Chloe knew her grandfather was trying to find her cousins they where with the day of the apocalypse. Chloe didn't know much about her mom all she know was that her moms name was Lila and she was a sweet soul. Chloe knew her dad was still alive somewhere and somehow her grandfather always said he'd come to give gifts on my birthday he marked on his calendar every year. My grandfather also said he was searching for a cure. Chloe didn't believe that though.
Chloe hears a knock on the door. " knock knock " who's there? The person  replied. " Cow! " chloe looked to the side. " cow who? " Chloe replied. " MOOOOO " said Ellie. " we're going to the city get ready. " said Ellie.
Chloe had actually laughed at Ellie's jokes she was white the jokester.

Chloe gets out of the restroom and follows Tess and Joel to wherever they're going. They all stop at a museum. Everyone gets a flashlight on and follows joel. " clickers not heard or found yet " Ellie hears a clicker and joel sees one. Joel used sing language " they cant see but they can hear. " Chloe takes one step and the clicker starts attacking her. Chloe panics, " get it off of me! " said chloe. She tried to get her gun out of her jacket but she couldn't. Joel shoots the clicker and it just gathers more clickers. Chloe ran to a nearby door with Ellie. " at least it's not a blo- " said Ellie before she got interrupted by a clicker attacking her. Chloe panicked snd shot the clicker. Ellie and Chloe went back by Joel and Tess. Ellie checks her arm and sees a bite mark. " Well if it had to be one of us " said Ellie. " let's go " Joel replied. Chloe sees a red - headed girl standing by a door. Chloe's curiosity followed her without informing Joel or tess. Chloe followed the girl to a nearby apartment. Chloe saw the girl get supplies. Chloe heard and the girl heard a clicking noise so Chloe instantly went under the bed while the girl went to the closet. The girl puts her hand on her mouth to stop her so she won't distract the clicker. The clicker notices the red headed girl and the red- headed girl immediately runs to the balcony. The girl jumps off from the balcony landing on a car.

Chloe covers her mouth and tried to be quiet. She got out from under the bed and took the stairs to get out of the apartment. Chloe noticed the red-headed girl in pain. Chloe goes near her and makes eye contact with the red- headed girl. " what's your name? " said Chloe. The red headed girl looks back at her " aria " she says. Chloe " where are you going? " said Chloe.
" A safe place. " said Aria. " you know how to drive? You know how to do all of this? " said Chloe. " I've been taught " said Aria.
" well may- " said Chloe before she gets interrupted by a scream of her name. " CHLOE! " said Joel. " oh god " said Chloe.

" I shouldn't have ran away " I get it blah blah. But honestly I don't wanna be on whatever trip you're in now. I can handle myself. " Said Chloe.

" she could go with me if she'd like. " said Aria

" and who are you supposed to be? " said Ellie

" my names Aria. Someone who knows how to protect myself " she replied.

" a month? You could go on whatever trip for a month. " Said Tess

"Tess this isn't your call " said Joel

"I made a promise to your grandfather Chloe and your mother. To keep you safe for a year. You want to go with someone to find a supposedly safe place when you don't even know who this person is? " said Joel. " yes " Chloe replied.

Ellie gasp.

"Two weeks. Only. If you find the safe place in two - three weeks then you're good to stay there. If not I'm coming back to get you. " said Joel.
" how old are you Aria? " asked Joel.

" 15 " Aria replied.

Aria unlocked a car door and got in her car.

" So can I go with Aria? " said Chloe.

"Two weeks" said joel. Joel passes Chloe a radio.

" communicate with me Chloe " said Joel.

Ellie went up to Chloe saying " well I was looking forward to telling you more of my jokes but take care. "
" thank you " Chloe replied.

Chloe hopped in the car with Aria hoping for a new start.
