First Person POV: Yakunan

I hissed as Naruto told me his day. That Uchiha boy really made my infection curl.

"A-And he called me Dobe! That teme! If I didn't want you all to myself then I would ask you to go infect him, Dattebayo!" Naruto ranted. I paused before a feral smirk crawled onto my face.

"I wouldn't mind infecting that brat." I muttered as Naruto nodded, pouting as he began to rant about his ramen.

While he did that, I checked my infection dealing gloves. They were fine but slowly wearing down, showing hints of the infection trying to force its way through. My scarf seemed alright aswell, so that was a relief.

"Hey, Yakunan-San." I looked over at Naruto. "If... if I mange to pass the exam... will you show yourself to Jiji?"

I frowned before shifting over to sit next to Naruto, staring into his eyes.

"Naruto. You know that I cant show myself to anyone other than you. They will try and use me as a weapon and use you as a way to make me do it. I want to meet everyone you so kindly talk about, but I cant." I told him as he slowly nodded, frowning.

I smiled and patted his head, grinning madly.

"Hey, want to help me hunt?" I tempted as he brightened, a smile finding its way on his face.

"Yeah! I always love helping you, Yakunan-San!"

A feral smirk found its way on my face as I let Naruto run out into the dark, following him quietly in the shadows as he searched for the perfect meal.

Merely minutes later, he found a rude drunk that snarled at him.

"S-Stupid demon child!" He slurred, aiming to hit Naruto with his bottle. I let out a small growl as I circled him, letting out small yips to catch his attention.

"Whose there!?" He barked, turning around to show a pudgy face and small eyes. I winced. He will have to do for now.

I hissed and curled my body to give him a sense that I was a cat, sneaking closer with silent steps.

He froze before turning to look at me, the bottle dropping from his fingers and breaking. Naruto made himself scarce as I launched at the drunk, my teeth tearing into his throat.

I silenced him quickly as I ate, ripping through him with ease as I threw my head back and swallowed.

"Over there!" A voice hissed as a shadow flipped behind me. I paused as I let my ears open, searching for anyone who dared interrupt my meal.

A scratch to the right of me made me turn and snarl, eying down a masked man as he froze. A deep snarl escaped me as I launched, killing him before he made a sound.

"Toshi? Toshi are you there?" A voice whispered from the mans ear, making me take off an ear piece and put it on.

By examining the mans now ripped apart throat, I was able to copy it to a certain leval.

"Y-Yeah... the thing looked at me and I froze. Sorry." I muttered as I made shuffling sounds, like I was moving quietly.

"Good... what is your position?" The voice replied in a relieved tone. I slowly tracked down were the voice was and stood behind a man with a bat mask.

"K-Komori?" I whispered, lowering my tone to act scared.

"What Toshi?" The man asked, crouching lower to see the body.

"The creature..." I trailed off as a smirk found its way on my face.

"Yes?"

"Its behind you." I said in my normal tone and I launched.

Three kills in one night huh? Good...

Time-Skip

"Ne, ne Yakunan-San! What if you joined my class for the day, in a genjutsu?"

I blinked and thought about it. I cant use genjutsu but I could alter my body to a certain degree, aging it to Naruto's age at youngest and some guy called Ibiki's age at the oldest.

Naruto was slowly bouncing around like a jackhammer as I thought waiting for an answer.

"... Only for the day." I answered quietly, heading for my room to sort out some things.

I heard Naruto shouting a 'Yatta!' In triumph as I began to double coat my gloves and scarf in a special plant that could resist my infection. I was quite happy that I found it, since I could now touch Naruto without infecting him. He loved hugs but we always had to careful, which took the fun out of it.

"Ready Naruto?" I asked as I walked to the door, shaking myself to get ready to trail in the dark.

"Hai, Dattebayo!" Was my answer as Naruto burst out from the kitchen, ramen dangling out of his mouth as he ran for the door.

I grabbed his shirt before he opened the door and bent down, lifting his head to look me in the eyes.

"We have to go through rules first, kiddo." Naruto groaned. "Number one, no shouting to loudly. You know my ears cant take it. Second, do not mention me and do not point me out. I will be in the shadows the entire time, proberly next to an ANBU so I can freak them the hell out. Last, do not under and circumstance. Try to get me to come out of the shadows, even if it is to challenge the Uchiha. I am your secret. No one elses." I told him as he frantically nodded, smiling brightly.

It almost blinded me. Oh my Kami-Sama. I may be male but this adorable child made me squeal internally. So cute!

Naruto opened the door and ran out, letting me lock it and follow him. I slithered through the allyways as I trailed behind an ANBU, watching as he merely trailed after Naruto. I breathed in carefully and nodded, this one was alright. No hate. Just slight protection.

My hands gripped into buildings as I crawled along them like a lizard, still sticking the shadows as Naruto reached the Academy.

A breath was all it took to make me annoyed, the Uchiha was doing something that riled up Naruto. This was not going to settle well.
