"Well, I'm glad that you've both got your happy ending."

Jimin and Jungkook snapped out of their own reverie, gazes becoming focused on the devil once more. She looked much different than what Jimin remembered her to be. He recalled her having an overwhelming presence, an aura that was simply terrifying and menacing no matter how you looked at her.

But now, she looked small.

Her eyes were glossy, shoulders hunched with tangled hair falling in front of her face. The bottom of her luxurious robes were becoming tattered, her entire demeanour seeming defeated. "I tried so hard to keep you two apart, I used every single power I had to keep you away from each other. But your love. Your love was stronger than all of it? Why? Why wasn't I able to tear you apart?"

Jungkook's eyes saddened, and he looked down to meet Jimin's gaze. He knew that he shouldn't feel bad, Lucifer was his enemy on all terms, he shouldn't care.

But he did, and he blamed it on the good of his angelic heart.

He pressed a soft kiss to Jimin's forehead, allowing his wings to fold back.

"Lucifer." He addressed the devil, turning away from Jimin and walking towards her. "Why did you want to so badly?" The devil's bottom lip quivered as she took in the entirety of Jungkook's ethereal appearance. He looked so absolutely wonderful, and she missed it. Everything that he had was everything that she missed having. "I know it's not because you wanted to keep Jimin and I safe as demons, because you could easily replicate us if you needed."

His halo backlit his feathery hair, Jimin watching him fondly from behind as he continued to walk closer to the devil. "You put a whole lot of unneeded time and effort into us."

"I wanted Him to give me a second chance." The devil didn't flinch as Jungkook rested his hand of her shoulder, attempting to ignore the slight burn that accompanied his angelic touch. "Maybe if he saw how horrible his humans truly were, he'd realize that I was right, and he was wrong to cast me out of heaven. I wanted my old life back, because I missed it, and I still do."

She reached up, stroking the soft feathers of Jungkook's wings gently. She gulped, looking as if she was trying to bite back tears.

"You didn't answer my question." Jungkook spoke softly, brushing a few strands of hair out of his eyes. "Why are you avoiding it?"

"I was..." The devil looked down to the floor, choosing to focus her gaze. "I was jealous, of you two. The one time I fell in love it was shot down rather harshly, and I couldn't stand to see you two be so absolutely smitten with each other. I wanted you to hurt, just as I did."

"But it didn't work, did it?" Jungkook asked gently, the devil shaking her head in response. "Lucifer, I can't stay down here, and neither can Jimin. I can't mend your broken heart, and I can't give you your old life back, though I wish I could."

The devil looked up, her watery gaze meeting Jungkook's. She watched curiously as he removed one of the sparkling golden rings from off of his fingers. He took the devil's hand, placing it in her palm. "It was crafted by God Himself. Keep it. This is the most of your previous life that I could ever give you."

The devil nodded, closing her fingers around the accessory. It stung her skin, but she refused to let go.

"You're so good, Jungkook." She laughed softly. "Finally, He succeeded in creating something that was truly good. All of the other angels up there are prejudiced against those who they don't deem to be 'good'." She slipped the ring into her finger, ignoring how it began to burn her. "But you get it. Never, has there ever been a more perfect angel than you. Everything that you've achieved, although I may be envious, you deserve it."

Jungkook nodded in thanks before stepping back to stand beside Jimin once more, the human immediately wrapping his arm around Jungkook's waist. The devil had to admit, they were a wonderful looking couple.

Jimin fit so perfectly against Jungkook's body, like two puzzle pieces that had been snapped into place.

"We've got to go." Jungkook sighed, "Try to let go of your grudge though, it'll set you free."

The devil merely nodded, finally looking over to Jimin.

Her first creation, he really was special.

"Goodbye, Jimin. I know I hurt you more than necessary, but I hope you can leave it behind you." She spoke, eyes sad as she stared into Jimin's gaze.

"I... I understand, why you did it. Will I forget it? I don't think it's possible to, but I think I'll try to let my grudge against you go." He nodded in acknowledgement, watching how Jungkook wings unfolded once more. They flapped a few times experimentally from not being used in awhile.

It only occurred to him them that Jungkook would be flying them back up to earth, due to the fact that neither of them were demons anymore. It was a weird thought, but Jimin trusted Jungkook more than ever.

Jungkook picked him up bridal style, Jimin gasping as they both began to lift off of the ground. Jungkook's wings cast a slight breeze against Jimin's skin, calming Jimin a bit as he gripped at Jungkook's shoulders for dear life. He gulped, locking eyes with the devil once more.

"Goodbye, Master." He spoke, watching how the devil's gaze softened.

"I'm not your master anymore Jimin." She sighed. "I never really was in the first place, was I?"

-

"We're going to see them, right?"

Jimin's head whipped in the wind as Jungkook carried him through the sky above Seoul, the crisp temperature of dusk slowly beginning to set in. "I'm worried about them. We just both disappeared for awhile, they probably think that we're both dead."

Jungkook sighed, wings fanning away a few patches of clouds in his way. He looked down the the land beneath them both, near mesmerized by the multitudes of flickering and fluorescent lights that were still visible from how high up they were.

"I'm just a bit scared of how they'll react to me." He confessed, holding onto Jimin tighter as he chose to hover in one spot for a moment. "If you want to see them though, we'll go."

"Thank you." Jimin smiled, pressing a gentle kiss to Jungkook's jaw.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Jungkook spoke up, looking down at the bustling sitting beneath him. Seoul never slept, there was always something awake and alert.

Jimin looked up to Jungkook, observing ever single aspect of him. The way that the moonlight backlit him and gave him an ethereal glow, the golden ring of light above his head, the slight breeze causing his garments to wave in the wind.

"Yeah." Jimin nodded, gaze not leaving Jungkook. "It is."

Jungkook's eyes met Jimin's, a smile forming on his face before he leaned down to peck Jimin softly on the lips.

"We should get going, shouldn't we?" He asked, Jimin giggling softly and nodding. Jungkook adjusted his hold on him, grip tight on Jimin before he flapped his wings and dove down towards earth. Jimin yelped at the sight of the city hurdling towards them so quickly, nerves only slightly warded off by the knowledge that Jungkook would never let anything happen to him.

The cool night air whipped through his hair, causing him to shiver gently. He quickly became too scared to look down, choosing instead to tuck his head into the crook of Jimin's neck.

"You're gonna be alright, I've got you." Jungkook laughed, gliding through the air as he honed in his sights on the sin's apartment building. "Even if you fell, I'd catch you in a flash."

"Still, try not to let me fall." Jimin huffed, heart rate decreasing as he felt Jungkook began to slow down.

"You're in safe hands." Jungkook smiled, lowering himself down until his feet touched the concrete surface of the apartment building's roof. He gently set Jimin down, chuckling softly as he watched his lover shake out his limbs and rub his eyes.

Jungkook folded his wings back, taking Jimin's hand in his and leading him towards the stairs that lead down from the roof. "Was it really that bad?" He laughed, Jimin shrugging and following Jungkook down the staircase.

"No, it was actually really beautiful to see everything from that high up." Jimin beamed, "Its just the part where you dive down that might take a bit of getting used to."

Jungkook nodded in agreement, apologizing softly as he pushed opened the door to the floor that the sin's lived on. Luckily, they lived on one of the higher floors, so Jimin and Jungkook didn't have much walking to do. "I know you're scared to see them, but it's all going to go fine, okay?"

"I hope." Jungkook sighed, knocking on what he knew the be Hoseok's apartment door once they approached it. There was a moment of silence, then a murmur of voices, before the sound of footsteps could be heard.

The sound of a lock clicked, before the door in front of them opened.

The demon that they were faced with looked incredibly worn out; hair unruly and frail looking, skin pale, eyes having had lost their brightness.

Jungkook gulped, before taking in a shaky breath.

"Taehyung."
