For about one week now, everything at school was about one thing: Art class project.
There was no question that you and Yeji worked not together, but the project was due next Monday and still, you didn't even have the slightest idea of what your project should be about and it was Friday after noon. The topic was 'self-presentation' but frankly, you weren't good at talking about yourself, showing off yourself or even just presenting yourself - you were too used to take care of others, that yourself kind of lost priority.
Yeji was slumped together in her seat next to yours as she seemed to already having given up on the whole thing - especially you.
"Come on Y/N, just a few photos of ourselves, with a text or something, at this point we won't get a good grade for any oh so great idea, because we don't have time."
She was right, you had to admit but the imagination of presenting pictures of yourself to the whole class was making you feel self-conscious and uncomfortable all at once.
But what should you do? You didn't want to be the reason for Yeji failing this project, so you nodded, "A few photos will do."
Your friend answered this with a relieved groan, finally able to jump up and flee out of the school building, because hell - it was Friday after all.
You were left behind, contemplating about how you should get those photos. You couldn't make them yourself, because clearly this would only end up in a awkward selfie session, alone the thought making you shudder.
It took you about fifteen minutes to realize that you had a passionate photography student at home, making you want to bang your head against the table. Jungkook would definitely help you out, right?
Your heart skipped a beat at the thought of him photographing you and a groan escaped your lips as you realized how you had started day dreaming about him - again.
Apparently, that was your lucky day because Jungkook was home earlier than usual, so you'd be able to ask him today, instead of hoping that he'd be home during the weekend; what was most likely not the case.
Before you could go to the living room and try to ask Jungkook for this little favor, your mom - who just came back from picking up Jee - caught you, a happy smile on her face, "Y/N, I just wanted to remember you that you will have to leave your room for Kira and Sera next weekend."
A look of horror appeared on Jee's face at the mention of the two demons that were your cousins and you couldn't hold back a laugh at this. Jee was, what you could call scared of these little devils, and really he had every right to be. Sadly, there was no way that the twins wouldn't attend your mother's wedding next Saturday, so obviously you nodded at your mom, taking a mental note of locking away every important thing in your room.
After that you took a deep breath and stepped in to the living room, where Jungkook was sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone.
He looked really comfortable with is grey sweats and white tee, a small silver chain with an old tag dangling around his neck and his long hair covering his left eye lazily.
"uhm, Jungkook?" You said, trying to get his attention.
The older one looked up, a friendly smile on his face, "Yeah?"
"We have this art project about self-presentation and I was thinking if you maybe could..."
"Take pictures of you?" He finished your sentence with a deepened smile.
You nodded silently and he got up, stretching his arms with a groan, while asking: "So, what did you have in mind?"
"I thought, that maybe we could go outside, so that the pictures look a bit brighter or happier, but if I'm being honest I don't know where exactly we should go."
The boy eyed you up and down and then grinned, "I know where to go, just let me quickly grab my camera and we'll be out."

Turns out, Jungkook wanted to shoot at an old playground, and when you asked him why he answered that he always pictures you playing with Jee or later on your own children in here, what pretty much gave you an accurate representation of what he thought about you - the mom friend, you could say.
"Okay, how about we start on the swing and then we go to the seesaw?"
You nodded, he was the professional after all.
You were surprised about how passionate and patient Jungkook was. He insisted to repeat every shot until it was perfect, and was super concentrated on what he did, seemingly blending out his surroundings during this.
Sometimes he would be a bit too perfectionistic and when you asked him why he'd answer "We want you to get the best grade, don't we?" with a wink, making your heart soar.
You refused to believe that this happy, passionate boy was the same as the one who came home in the middle of the night, scary and bad-mooded. It just seemed impossible, unrealistic to you, as if they were two different people.
Jungkook's and your hard work payed off when you presented the pictures on Monday, not feeling an ounce of self-consciousness, because every single picture looked flawless - thanks to Jungkook.
Yeji was flipping out over them, ended up being glad that she worked with you, though she said that she almost regretted it.
"Not bad." Jimin commented, as he looked through the small collection of photos. He still seemed a bit distant, especially now that he looked through the work that was obviously Jungkook's and you couldn't even be mad at him for this; heartbreaks suck, it's a common known fact.
"Yeah. even I have to admit that they turned out well."
Jimin snorted, a teasing smile on his face, "Well? I feel like that's an understatement."
And then he added (unnecessarily), "Everything he touches seems to be perfect."
You blinked, "After all I know, he definitely touched you."
Jimin blushed at those words and you laughed, nudging his arm playfully. You didn't judge Jimin because of this. Of course it was questionable thing to do, but he had been in love with Jungkook, probably not being able to think straight - unlike Jungkook.
But although he himself had admitted to have slept with a minor, the thought wouldn't fit in your head - not together with the nice, considerate and passionate boy you knew.
___
Jungkook looked through the pictures he took three days ago, a small smile apparent on his face.
His step-sis really was something else.
She's been so shy about taking pictures. He knew a lot of girls who were acting shy, thinking that this made them look cuter, when actually it was just fucking annoying. Y/N on the other hand was so genuine with every her actions, that's what he had realized last Friday.
He clicked on 'safe', before turning off his computer.
