Our story begins, when Ava was 8 years old. She and her parents lived in a house on the Akomish land reserve but it isn't far from Seattle for her family to go to their jobs and for Ava to go to School. She was home one afternoon with her mother Abigail Walker (or fetch) and her Father Delsin Rowe just got home for a busy day as a leader of Seattle and of course being a hero.

"Daddy!" Ava said as she ran to her father and embraced him. Delsin of course smiled. "Hey, my little girl. You really missed me I see." Ava laughed "Of course dad. You're always gone for so long." Delsin undid his hug around his daughter. "Where's your mother?" Ava thinks for a second. "She went upstairs not too long ago." Delsin smiles and kisses his daughter on the forehead. "Thanks, sweetie I'll be back down in a minute just gotta talk to mom about something." Ava nods and Delsin goes up to find Fetch.

Ava was playing with her toys, She heard the front door break down. "D.U.P get on the ground!" Ava was shaken with fear. 5 scary D.U.P soldiers stormed into her house. Delsin and Fetch came running down wearing their old attires. (The glory days eh?) "Leave my daughter alone!" Fetch yelled as she blasted one of the D.U.P soldiers out the door with her neon powers. Delsin unraveled his chain and hit another D.U.P soldier 3 times outside the house and trapped the D.U.P soldier under 3 swords. Fetch then blast another 2 D.U.P Soldiers through the front window. But then, Fetch got hit in the back of the head by a concrete fist knocking her out. "Mommy!" Ava screamed as she went to her mother crying. Another fist was about to come down on her but, Delsin came into sight as he became visible again and tried to subdue the D.U.P Soldier but he couldn't since this one was clearly different from other D.U.P Soldiers.

The soldier then started shooting Delsin then rammed him into the wall. Ava watched in horror as her father was getting beaten up by this D.U.P Soldier. Delsin's body started to glitch out since he is losing a lot of health. "Leave my father alone!" Ava said while crying and she released from her hands a storm of ice shards piercing The D.U.P Soldier effectively killing him. But it trapped Delsin in an ice casing. Delsin broke out and ran over to his daughter and hugged her and the knocked out Fetch. "Everything is okay Ava. It's gonna be okay. We gotta get your mother to the hospital. I can get us to Seattle. I'll call Eugene to come to get you since I can't carry you both." Delsin then picks up Fetch and climbs to the roof where their antenna is. 

Delsin tapped on it and presses a button and Eugene is summoned. "Dad? what's going on?" Delsin just looked at Eugene with Fetch still in his arms. "I have to get Fetch to the hospital. The D.U.P has returned and you know what that means right?" Eugene looks in horror. "She can't be back can she?" Delsin shakes his head. "I don't know Eugene but right now I need you to pick up Ava and take her with us through the antenna." Eugene nods and walks over to Ava. "Hey, little sis. Wanna ride from big bro Eugene to Seattle?" Ava just nods as she was still shaken up over what just happened. Ava gets on Eugene's back as Fetch is put on Delsin's back they dash through the antenna and were immediately launched into the air. They then glided their way to Seattle with their video wings. 

Time Skip!

They arrive at the hospital in Seattle and they ran into the front desk. "Oh Mr. Rowe and Mr. Sims a pleasure to meet you. What brings you here?" Delsin catches his breath for a second. "My wife has taken serious damage. We were attacked in our own home and she has taken a hit to the head. Please call a doctor." The receptionist just nods as she calls doctors and they came with a stretcher and Delsin put Fetch on the stretcher. "It's gonna be okay Abigail. They're gonna help you." One doctor approaches Delsin. "Mr. Rowe we're gonna need your help. Since your wife is a conduit. We'll need your power to help heal her." Delsin nods. "I can help. I got to get my Neon powers real quick." Delsin then video dashes through the hospital doors. By now, Eugene has put Ava down as she already is passed out in the chair. Eugene sits next to Ava as he waits for Delsin to return. Delsin dashes through the door at light speed. "Okay let's go." Delsin and the doctor dash towards the emergency room. Eugene sighs. "Damn, I hope mom will be okay. I should call my wife. She must be worried sick about me since I left all the sudden." Eugene pulls out his phone and calls his wife telling her he's okay and all that jazz.

Time Skip once more!

It's been a few hours since Delsin and Fetch left for the emergency room. But Delsin came out with a doctor. Delsin looked like he was crying but he had a smile on his face. "Ava wake up our dad's here," Eugene said as he poked Ava. Ava woke up and saw her brother and Dad in front of her. "Daddy! Is mommy okay?" Delsin smiles and picks up Ava. "Yes, she is. She'll be okay just gotta give her a day to recover." then the doctor speaks up. "Would you like to see her? She is probably asleep but it would be okay to see her." Ava smiles and nods. "Well let's go." Delsin, Ava, and Eugene follow the doctor to see Fetch.

Delsin was first to enter the room and soon followed by Ava and Eugene. Delsin gets on his knees next to Fetch and holds onto her hand. "Fetch... I'm sorry I let this happen to you..." Eugene comes over and puts his hand on Delsin's back. "It's gonna be okay dad she'll be fine. Mom is tough. I know you guys aren't my real family but you guys were the best parents to me. Like step parents but really awesome." Delsin chuckled at his remark. "Thanks, Eugene. Well, I think we got something to talk about Ava. I see you're an ice conduit. I will say I was surprised. You saved me and your mom you know?" Ava smiles and then changes to a wondering look. She just remembered she has powers like her family. She was honestly scared. "I-I don't know what came over me. I just saw you and mom were in danger I just reacted naturally... It scares me.." 

Delsin smiles lightly and walks over and sits with his daughter. "It's okay Ava we can teach you to control this power. I may not be an ice conduit nor is Eugene or your mom but I'm sure we can still help." Ava nods and hugs her dad. Eugene then speaks up. "Wait, Dad aren't you a power sponge? You could learn this Ice power as well." Delsin thinks on it. "I would but I'm gonna wait until she is older and she has more control since she'll have to be my teacher." Ava laughs "I don't know if I'll be able to teach you. Mom says when she taught you her neon powers you were stubborn." Delsin gets a tiny bit mad. "I wasn't that stubborn.." Eugene laughs "That stubborn? You were so stubborn while I was teaching you my power." Delsin sighs "At least I didn't send my angels to do my dirty work. You use to hide in the shadows so much I was surprised when you came out as He who dwells." Eugene smirks "Hey, You wouldn't have beaten Agustine if I didn't find those core relays for you." Delsin smirks "Yeah? Who's the one who had a crush on their adoptive mom?" 

Eugene gets flustered. "L-low blow man even for you. I was a teenager back then dad. You guys weren't like parents to me yet." Eugene sighs "You win this time. I'll get you next time." Delsin chuckles. "Oh Eugene, My dear boy I would love to see this play out next time. Anyways, It's getting late we should rest up. I'm sure Fetch will awaken tomorrow. She's tougher than anything I could ever conjure." Eugene nods. "Well I will be visiting tomorrow I'm sure my wife is worried about me." Delsin and Ava say their goodbyes to Eugene as he flies up to the roof and flies through an antenna blasting into the sky and gliding home. "You know Ava. You and your brother make me proud to call you my children. I know, Eugene isn't my exact child but he is like a son to me. You make me proud. You saved me and your mom today." Ava smiles "Thanks, dad. I'm glad I made you proud." Delsin sighs. "I wish your Uncle Reggie was here to see you now. He would've loved you and been so proud of you." Delsin starts to tear up at the memory of his late brother. He could've sworn he saw him in the sky that evening. "Let's head inside it's cold out here." Ava nods and they go inside and spend the night at the hospital. 

(YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT'S UP!!! Hey my fellow music lovers. I finally after 3 days I got chapter 1 done. Making up a totally original story isn't easy. I had the plot in my head but i couldn't put it into words but now it is. At least, the first part.
