An hour or two has passed by since Ava returned to her house with Reina. Ava has been taking care of Reina in her room. Reina wakes up with a throbbing headache as she notices she is in a room that is decorated with ice and snow. It was quite a beautiful room. She concludes its Ava's room and starts to get up. "Ava?" Reina starts to walk towards Ava's door and her body turns into light as she dashes through the door. Her body reforms on the other side of the door. "What the hell..?" Reina then repeats this as she dashes down the hall. "No no no..." She then dashes downstairs reforming at the bottom of the stairs. "Ava... I really need you right now..." Ava then dashes from outside reforming to her normal self. "Reina, are you okay?" Reina's hands are shaking "I'm far from okay Ava..." Reina's hands start to glow in bright white light as she falls to her knees. Ava covers her eyes but she hugs Reina. "It's okay Reina. Listen to me it's okay." Reina is shaking with fear. "I'm one of them... I'm one of you..." Ava gets an offended look but gives a comforting look. "I would be hurt by that statement under any other circumstances but this is serious. You're gonna be okay. You're a conduit just like me. Just like Yuumei. Just like my family. We'll help you through this..." Reina nods as they stay in this hugging position. 

Fetch then comes through the door. "Ava, why did you leave school early?" Fetch then sees Ava and her friend Reina on the ground. "Mom I know I'm in trouble but I had to help Reina. She just became a conduit. She is having the same experience Dad had when he got his powers the first time." Fetch nods "I hope you're helping her through it." Ava nods "I am. She is a light conduit. She controls light as far as I can tell." Fetch nods and kneels down. "Reina right? I've heard a lot about you. Welcome to our world girl. Light eh? I'm a neon conduit I guess our powers are one and the same hehe." Reina nods and laughs slightly. "Yeah, it's insane on how I'm one of you guys now. I will say I'm still shaken up by this." Fetch nods and smiles "Trust me, we all were in shock at first with our first taste of powers. But, We learned to hone our powers. It took me years to master my powers. Ava has been training for 7 years now and she still is learning new things every day. My husband has had to master 4 powers and he is still learning. He is truly a wonder to all conduits out there." Reina nods as she listens to Fetch who she respects. 

"You seemed to adopt the same power he has. He can absorb powers from other conduits by the single touch of a hand. But he isn't able to absorb Ava's powers for some reason." Ava nods as Reina looks to her. "Yeah, A few years ago he tried to absorb them so he could learn my power. But he couldn't for some mysterious reason." Reina nods "It's just crazy. But if it isn't too much to ask can you guys teach me how to at least control these powers?" Ava and Fetch look at each other. "Of course Reina, My mom, and dad would probably be the best bet to help you. I'm not one to teach and they share similar powers to you. I will help of course." Reina nods and gets up. "Well, when can we start?" Fetch smirks "Let's start off with learning what your powers can do. I think I know how to help you get in touch with them." Reina gives a questioning look. "Mom, you can't be talking about those Core Relays that are still scattered through Seattle?" Fetch smiles "Smart girl, I knew I raised you well. But, Yes I'm talking about the Core Relays if Delsin can get powers from them. Why not you?" Reina nods. "But first we should get you to feel comfortable with absorbing light. Also nice white hair. Copying my look eh?" 

Reina's eyes widen as she gets up and runs to the mirror and looks that her hair is indeed white as the sunlight and her eyes are a vibrant white as well. "What the hell?! What happened to me?" Ava comes over and shrugs "I can't say for sure but it happened to me to my hair is naturally white now it use to be dark brown. Mom your hair use to be black until it turned purple right?" Fetch nods as she comes over to the mirror. "Yeah, and my hair use to be super long. My brother Brent's hair was black as well before it turned blue. He had powers he just didn't use them. He wasn't as carefree as I am. God rest Brent's soul." Fetch smiles sadly she doesn't like talking about Brent because it always made her sad. "Okay, we got things to do. I'm off work and we got training to do. It's basic maneuvering and draining sources today. Sorry, Ava no duels for today." Ava nods reassuringly. "I know, time for training Reina. Welcome to my life." Reina nods and smirks "Last one out there has to fix damages." Ava smirks and turns into snow and ice and dashes towards the backyard and Fetch materializes into neon and does the same and Reina concentrates her body and she turns into pure white light and dashes like Fetch towards the door.

Ava makes it out there first then Fetch then Reina. "Okay, I saw that coming." Ava laughs a bit and Fetch just smiles. "Well let us get started. Maybe you can absorb my neon signs because that is light." Reina nods and she walks towards the neon sign by the back of the house and she closes her eyes and concentrates as her hands glow and the light from the neon sign comes out of the sign and goes into Reina's hands and the power surges through her. Reina starts to laugh as she smirks. "That felt tingly. That feels amazing and powerful." Reina looks to her left and sees a rock. Reina smirks and shoots the rock with a light blast effectively leaving a massive dent in it. "Whoa." Reina looked amazed at her new power. Ava smiles and walks over to Reina and pats her shoulder.  "You're learning quick Reina. Let's get working on traveling now." Reina nods and they work on traveling with turning into their respective material. 

1 hour later...

It's now around an hour later and it is around 5 p.m. Ava and Fetch have been teaching Reina to dash around and getting aiming her shot down. Reina hasn't gotten endless dashing down but she is getting better with her aiming which tingles her every time. Reina is aiming at a rock and she concentrates hard and charges her blast and hits the rock effectively destroying it. Reina breathes heavily as she places her hands on her knees. Ava smiles and walks over to her. "You're doing good Reina you really are a fast learner. I will have to get you fitted for a training outfit so your regular clothes won't get destroyed during training." Reina nods and smiles "That may be a good idea." Ava pats Reina's back. "What colors would you prefer for your training outfit?" Reina gives a thinking face and smiles as she gets her idea. "I was thinking black and white. Seems likes neutral colors and it seems good for hiding." Ava nods and smiles as an idea come to her mind. "I think I got the perfect outfit for you. I'll make it and I'll have it for you by tomorrow." Reina nods. "Hey, I got an idea. Since you guys have melee weapons in case you can't have ranged fighting. Could we find something for me?" Reina thinks on it. Fetch then comes over. "Well let's get you used to range fighting first but I think we can find something you could imbue your powers into." Reina nods but then they hear a sort of missile sound as Reina looks up and sees a cinder missile coming down her way her eyes widen but Ava gets in the way and forms an ice wall to block the cinder missile but it explodes on contact and the ice wall explodes in the process basting Ava and Reina back landing on their backs. 

Ava materializes and forms back on her feet. Reina groans and she concentrates and does the same thing. Fetch runs over to her daughter and Reina. "Are you two okay?" Reina and Ava nod and they look to the rooftop to see no other than the hero himself Delsin Rowe. Something was off about him though. "Dad? What are you doing?" Delsin turns into smoke and dashes down there and they noticed something wrong. His jacket was dark red and his vest had the Infamous Bird mark on the back of it. "D-dad? What's wrong?" Delsin looks at Ava and smirks and his eyes we glowing red. "Dad! Snap out of it!" Delsin unravels his chain and proceeds to swing it at Ava as it's imbued with smoke. Ava's eyes widen as it hits her down to the ground. Fetch and Reina looks with their eyes widen. Fetch turns angry and she tackles Delsin to the ground. "Delsin please stop this! What is wrong with you?! That was our daughter!" Delsin smirks and holds one hand out and absorbs a neon sign. Delsin then turns into light and dashes through Fetch. Fetch turns around and shoots blasts at Delsin who dodges them. 

Reina rushes towards Ava and helps her up. Ava gets her wits about her and her face turns to a scowl. "We got to stop him. Something is obviously wrong with my dad." Reina nods and she absorbs sunlight. A rush of power flows through her. "I'm ready." Ava nods and makes 2 ice swords as she throws her cloak off. Reina materializes into light as she dashes towards Delsin who is still dodging neon shots and shooting neon back. Reina ends her dash as she tackles Delsin knocking him on his back. Fetch wastes no time as she shoots Delsin's legs wrapping the neon around him effectively subduing him. Delsin struggles as he is bounded down to the ground. Ava rushes over and Delsin finally gives in and his jacket turns back to it's normal pure white and the infamous bird turns back into the true hero bird. Ava looks towards the rooftop once again to see someone she dreads. No other than Yuumei himself. Ava growls as she dashes for the roof and Fetch follows her. They make it to the roof and Yuumei is smirking. "You don't know how long it took to break Delsin's will to make him work for me in that short time." Ava throws one of her swords at Yuumei who catches it and throws it back and Ava blocks it while breaking it. "I'm not that easy to hurt you know?" Fetch growls and shoots Yuumei with neon who it just goes through. "I'm not even here I'm just a shadow clone." Yuumei then just disappears. Fetch sighs. "He's your enemy I presume?" Ava nods and Fetch pats Ava's back. "We'll get him. I promise you that. Let's get your dad inside." Ava nods and they go down and get Delsin inside.
