Ava was sitting at lunch with Reina and Yuumei. They talk and eat their lunch when Ava noticed a girl being picked on and hassled by no other than Derek. Ava looks at Derek with ice daggers in her eyes. Reina and Yuumei notice this. "Ava?" Reina said and Ava looks at her. "You know what to do. Go be the hero that you are." Yuumei gives a questioning look. Ava nods and her hands start to glow and mist starts to come off her. She places her hand to her mouth and her ice mask forms. Her eyes start to glow ice blue filling the mask with mist. She grabs the purple tips of her hair and turns them completely white. Ava pulls up her hood on her sweater. 

"W-wait. You're the Ice Reaper?" Ava looks at Yuumei and nods. Ava looks around and the Cafeteria actually is pretty empty so no one but her friends saw the transformation and she lets out a sigh of relief. Ava transforms into mist and moves across the ground towards Derek and snow followed. Derek notices everything was getting cold and snow started to fall inside and that the mist forms in front of him revealing to be 'The Ice Reaper' Derek looks in fear and backs away. "What did I say to you earlier?" Ava said in her deeper female voice. Derek steps back again and stays silent and Ava moves closer. "I warned you this would happen again if you did this again." Ice clones start to surround Derek. 

Ava grabs Derek's arm and it starts to freeze. Derek freaks out and grinds his teeth. "Let me go, please!" Ava looks at him dead in the eyes and grabs his other arm and brings his hands together and traps them in a casing of ice. "You'll pay for your harassment but that is not of my jurisdiction. You'll stay locked up this way until my friend delivers you to your rightful justice. I can't show myself to the authorities if that wasn't obvious." Reina then is coming over with a teacher. Ava looks at them and the ice clones disappear and Ava turns into mist and flies off.

Ava returns to her locker and takes the vest off and hangs it up with her cloak. Ava sighs and takes off her mask and absorbs it back into her skin. She has to absorb ice and snow or just coldness, in general, to keep her powers as strong as they are. She closes her locker and sees Yuumei leaning against a locker near her. Ava jumps and puts her hand to her chest. "My lord Yuumei you scared me. What are you doing here? Also, How did you follow me so quickly?" Yuumei sighs and looks around then looks at Ava and his body starts to cover everything around him in darkness soon engulfing Ava in it. Ava looks around and only sees darkness. "Because you're not the only conduit in this school. I am a dark conduit. I control darkness and shadows. I can make any monster come to life from the darkness. Am I evil? I could be but why would that matter? I'm sure you've heard of the D.U.P? I was the last convict to escape thanks to your father..." Yuumei appears behind Ava. 

Ava turns around and slashes at him with an ice blade but he disappears and a menacing laugh comes from the darkness. "I'm a lot stronger than you Ava. I could've dealt with those bullies back there but I can't give myself away. You may be a vigilante of this school but sooner or later it'll catch up with you and your father will be very, very disappointed in you. But, For now, I'll be taking my leave goodbye, Ava." Then the darkness disappears. Yuumei is standing in front of Ava and Ava gets angry and throws a punch at Yuumei and simply puts a finger on Ava's temple and she stumbles back and her vision goes black around the edges. "I also can put people to sleep with a simple touch. It's almost like poison but it's really not. You'll be asleep for about 20 minutes I'm sure Reina will be looking for you. Now, Nighty night Ava." Yuumei laughs as Ava finally passes out.

20 minutes later...

Ava is starting to wake up and she is still by her locker but her head is elevated a bit. Ava opens up her eyes and sees Reina above her. Ava realizes she is in Reina's lap. "R-Reina?" Reina looks down. "Oh my god Ava you're okay I saw you passed out over here and I just worried. What happened to you?" Ava sits up and sits next to Reina. "You remember Yuumei? That boy we well I saved?" Reina nods but gives a questioning look. "Yeah? What about him?" Ava sighs and holds her head a bit. "Well, apparently I'm not the only conduit in this school. Yuumei is evil. He controls darkness and shadows. He put me to sleep with a single touch of his finger. He was so powerful and he knows how to play mind games. He's working with someone and he's after my family. I can't let this happen Reina." Reina has kept her eyes on Ava and keeps listening. "I know you can beat him, Ava. I believe you more than anyone because I trust you. I know we only became friends a few hours ago but I trust you because I know you wouldn't lie if your family was genuinely in danger. If you're anything like your father you can beat him you have 8 years of training under your belt every day without break. I know you can beat him but if he is as powerful as you say. Then you know what you have to do right?" Ava nods "I gotta train harder than ever. I don't know when he'll come back but when he does. I'm gonna end his plans before he can even start them." Reina nods and smiles. "Well If there is any way I can help I will gladly. I know I'm not a conduit but if there is any way I could help I will." 

Ava smiles and wraps one arm around Reina. "I'm glad you're offering to help. I think I'm finally gonna follow my parent's footsteps. Taking down evildoers and busting drug dealers. I know there is so much evil in this world the least I could do is expel the world at least Seattle from it." Reina smiles and blushes a tiny bit. "I'm glad you have a goal, Ava. I'm sure you would make your parents proud." Ava smiles and looks at the time and sees it's 1:01 pm. "Crap we're late for class. At least, we share our 5th & 6th hour together. Let's go." Reina nods and they get up and Ava opens her locker really quick and grabs her Ice Reaper Mask and cloak and puts it in her backpack. (She has a big backpack.) Ava and Reina run off to their 5th hour.

As they enter their 5th hour, which is programming. Reina and Ava see their teacher isn't in the classroom but they notice someone they aren't too excited to see. Derek and Yuumei sitting together talking to each other. Ava backs out before they could look up. Reina follows her. "What's wrong?" Ava looks at her with a "Are you stupid?" Look. "Yuumei is right there. He could turn this whole place into darkness and I could be powerless to stop it. If he could do put me to sleep with a single touch how could I stop him?" Reina thinks about it. "If you can don't let him touch you. Keep your distance you must've been through range fighting training." Ava nods "I can't fight him here without the risk of hurting people." Reina nods understandingly. "I see well we can't skip class. We gotta endure being there. If he bothers us then we'll deal with it okay?" Ava nods and they enter their programming class and they take their seats. Ava can feel Yuumei's piercing gaze touching the back of her head. Derek then walks up to them. "Hey, Ava how you doing? You seem off today." Ava looks at Derek with a fiery gaze "I don't want to talk to you, Derek. Don't you have our assignment to do?" Derek shrugs "No need when you have a friend like Yuumei." Ava's expression turns fearful when Yuumei walks up with a menacing grin. "Hey, Ava you seem off today? What's wrong my friend?" Ava stands up with a death gaze at Yuumei. "I'm not your friend. You know why." Yuumei pouts "Well I'm hurt what could I ever have done to you?" Reina then comes over and turns Yuumei around "Leave her alone Yuumei she clearly doesn't want to talk to either of you." Yuumei smirks and goes to backhand Reina but Reina catches it but their arms start to get covered in darkness the darkness slowly inches towards Reina absorbing into her skin. 

Then they both pass out falling towards the floor. Everyone is shocked especially Ava and every other student in the room. "Reina and Yuumei are b-bioterrorists.." Ava runs over to Reina and holds her in her lap. "Derek you better take Yuumei away from here or things will turn into a Hellfest if you don't." Derek nods and drags Yuumei out. Ava picks up Reina bridal style and takes her out of the classroom and takes her outside where the snow has subsided. Ava takes her cloak out of her backpack and wraps Reina in it. Ava puts her mask on and it starts its blue glow and mist. Ava then holds onto Reina and turns them both into ice and show and dashes all the way to her home.

(Well welcome to the cliffhanger zone. What happened to Reina? Well, I only know that for now. Also, does Reina have feelings for Ava? Maybe I could be hinting at it or am I? I'm just kidding or am I? You can take your guesses in the comments or should you? Okay, I'm done with trying to be that guy. Also yeah I'm making myself an antagonist.
