I walk to the elevator and press the up button. I search in my bag for my key. Dahm I left it at home again... I hear a ping and the elevator doors open. I step inside and press the 3 button; I lean against the wall and look in my bag again. My phone shines a bright light and I grab him. The elevator start moving and I unlock my phone. I have missed one call from Paige my roomy. Paige is 22 years old that makes her one year older than me. She has curly red hair and bright green eyes. We rented this apartment so we could have some more space from our parents. Her parents are cops from New York and mine are working in the government. They don't have time for us so we left. We share the costs of the apartment, she works as a cop so she can help her parents, and you know my horrible job.

The elevator stops and I step outside. I walk through the hallway to my apartment. I knock on the door and wait outside.

"Coming!!!" Paige jells through the door.

The door opens and an angry Paige appears in the doorway.

"You know that you are an hour to late"

"And you knew that I had to do that request" I walk past her and throw my bag on the coffee table. I jump on the couch and make myself comfortable... I turn on the TV and watch the news.

She closes the door and walks to where I'm seated.

"We are sharing this apartment it looks like I'm the only one that makes sure it stays our apartment"

"My share's in the jar next to the door." I point with my finger to the jar without removing my eyes from the TV.

I hear her walking to the jar; I hear paper so that means she is emptying it. She counts it but I notice something on the TV so I turn on the volume. Paige opens her mouth to say something but I shhh her and point to the TV. Oliver's the cafe I work in is shown on the TV. About 3 helicopters and at least 40 D.U.P soldiers are approaching it. The news reporter says that a new 'Bio terrorist' is holding a man captive in there. He's the same conduit who tagged the space needle so that makes him 'the banner men' .I see 2 people coming out of the cafe and one jumps op and shoots what looks like smoke at the D.U.P soldiers. The other one runs away, god knows where. In at least 2 min all the D.U.P soldiers are down and so are the helicopters. Oliver's is all burned down. The conduit smirks to the camera and runs of. I turn of the TV and look at Paige.

"I told you they are dangerous" she says while making herself comfy.

"Yeah whatever" I say while throwing my hands behind my head.

She rolls her eyes and stares at me.

"I have a new partner at the office, his name is Reggie"

"Looks like someone has a crush" I say now exited, getting up to face her.

"I have no crush!!"

"Yes you have"

"No I haven't!!!!"

"Whatever" I say returning to my comfy state with a huge grim on my face.

Who was that guy and why did the D.U.P say that he held that men hostage, he looked free to me. I will find out sooner or later, I hope. I have enough time to find out because I'm workless now.
