"So you can't go near any type of liquid..?" Yang asks Daniel who nods as Crystal came next to him with a stack of papers so that he could heal from his burns thanks to his little...misunderstanding with Yang earlier today. "and you can't go near fire at all."

"I'm pretty sure- ow! That fire would kill anyone if they were lit up." Daniel empties as he absorbs the paper.

"True." Yang sits back in her chair.

"How do you stay hydrated then if you can't go near any liquids?" Blake wondered.

Daniel looks at her. "I can still drink liquids like water, coffee, juice, etc. Also sweat is okay because its self conflicting. My outside just can't be in contact with it but my inside can. That's why I drink carefully." He states.

"How do you stay clean then hmm??" Weiss asks.

Daniel put his hand out to Ruby. "Ruby. If you may."

Ruby nodded and smelt Daniel's hand. She pulled back.

"He smells....plain. like no odors or anything." Ruby states.

"Exactly. A pro to my power. No smell, no problem."

"Hearing all this seems almost sad." Pyrrha says.

"I feel bad now about hitting you." Yang says sadly.

Daniel looks at her "Oh don't be. Its fine. Its totally-"

"Unhygienic!" Weiss shouts.

Daniel and everyone at the table stopped and looked at Weiss.

"I refuse to stay in the same dorm with someone, regardless if he's odorless, that doesn't take showers or at least uses some form of deodorant." Weiss states with an angered face.

Daniel stared at her "Well I'm sorry princess. I didn't exactly ask for this did I? Also are you still pissed about that whole thing with the handcuffs?"

Weiss looked furious. "thats-"

"Let me guess the second reason. Me being placed on your team."

"Yes! Why would they put a criminal on my team." Weiss asks.

Daniel picked up his pencil and handed it to Crystal as she started to draw on a blank piece of paper. He turned to Weiss " Don't assume things Weiss. It makes an ass out of you and me."

Weiss rolls her eyes"....why did you even suggest the cuffs anyway even if you knew it wouldn't work."

Daniel shrugged "I wanted to gain your trust somehow. Even if that means sleeping under your surveillance 24/7.

Weiss put a finger on her chin and looks up "Hmm...that's not a bad idea."

"...huh?" Daniel gave her a deadpanned look.

"Starting tonight. I'm not going to go to sleep till you do."

Daniel looked baffled "Pffft....you serious?"

"Yes! I'm not going to fall for that handcuffs trick or anything else from now on!" Weiss looks at him with determination.

Daniel sighs "....fine."

Professor Oobleck zipped into the room greeting everyone and taking the role. Once done ge started to zip from one side of the room to another with his coffee in hand. Weiss huffed and picked up her pencil and started taking notes while avoiding further eye contact with Daniel. Daniel sighed and started to absorb the stack of paper which immediately healed his burns. He gave a satisfied sigh and rubbed Crystals hair. "Thank you Crystal."

Crystal smiled as her little wolf ears laid flat on her head. She then got on Daniel's lap and started drawing.

Daniel sat back and used Crystals back to hold his notepad steady and started taking notes too. "Now then. Who here can tell me the problem with todays society that still seems to progress after the corrupt movement of the white fang?" Oobleck asks. Blake stopped taking notes and put her hand up. "Yes ms Belladonna?"

"The coexistence of human and faunas." Blake states.

"Exactly. You see children, one corrupt organisation can change how everyone looks at one another. In this case as Miss Belladonna elaborated, the white fang's corrupt and terrorist acts can and have as I've said, changed everyone's point of view on faunas weather they're innocent or not. Every day of the week, a faunas is victimized, nearly killed or is killed is because of the white fang."

Daniel looked at Crystal to see her ears laying flat on her head. He rubbed her hair and ears as his eyes narrow. "I don't get it." Everyone stopped and looked at Daniel. "The white fang were a peaceful group who sought to help make the world a better place where faunas and humans can coexist. Instead, they slaughtered that meaning and turned it into violence towards humans. They still claim to be making a better world for faunas so they have a future. However, they're activities, and movement make it harder for faunus everyday...its almost gotten to the point where faunas are afraid to go outside into the world anymore. And how I know all this?" Daniel's hand had paper floating around it. "Cause others like me, conduits, can compare with faunas....What I am and who I am can be taken as a terrorist as well....in this case a bio-terrorist thanks to those who are like me but use their power as an advantage to get high in life."

Paper stopped floating around Daniel's hand as he rested it down. He looked up to see everyone staring at him. Ruby and Yang sat there shocked along with Pyrrha and Jaune. Blake had her mouth open slightly with her eyes widened and Weiss sat there just staring at you with her mouth just slightly open also. Oobleck adjusted his glasses "Most...Intriguing! Very good Mr Reis!"

The lesson continues for half an hour until the bell began to ring as everyone began to pack there things and head out.

Daniel held Crystals hand and walked out with her and his books.

Someone tapped him on the shoulder. He turned to see RWBY. "You okay Daniel?" Ruby asks.

"You seemed very passionate about what you said at the start of the lesson." Blake states.

Daniel nodded. "Yeah. Just felt like I needed to get all that out of my system."

"Did you mean what you said?" Blake asked.

Daniel nodded and Blake smiled. Daniel swore he saw a faint blush on Blake's face but shook the thought off when Yang gave him a light punch to the shoulder. "Nice hustle Paper boy."

"Please don't call me that bombshell." He begged.

Yang laughed. "Bombshell? Haha, well played."

Yang walked away while Ruby smiled and nodded at Daniel while Weiss walked past him after Yang, not saying a word or making eye contact.

"There goes Weiss with the cold shoulder." Daniel jokes.

Crystal giggled. Blake smiled. "You two get along very well huh?" She says while looking at Daniel and Crystal.

"Yep. Like brother and sister." Daniel says while rubbing Crystals head.

"You two seem to have more in common with each other though your not related by blood." Blake states.

"Heh. We have more in common than you know." Daniel kneels beside her.

Blake's eyes widened and her bow twitched as she looked at him. "A-and that is?"

Daniel picks Crystal up. "...We've both lost a mother" he says as he walks off with Crystal.

Blake's mouth hung open as she turned around to see them walk off towards the cafeteria.

After classes and Lunch~

Daniel began walking down the hall back towards team RWBY's dorm. He had some errands to run so he asked Yang if she could take Crystal back to their dorm. As he turned the corner he bumped into none other than Cardin Winchester. Daniel rolled his eyes thinking "Great."

"Well well well. If it isn't the freak show." He says with a smirk.

Daniel groans "What do you want ape?"

Cardin growled and grabbed Daniel by his shirt.  "That spider thing won't work on me anymore. Not after I've seen what you can do!"

"It was just a prank bro." He says while having his hands in the air.

Daniel looked in his pocket and saw scissors with blood on them. He saw a stand of brown hair on the scissors on it as well.

"Those scissors....What did you do before you got here." Daniel says while looking at Cardin.

Cardin dropped Daniel and covered his pocket.  "Does it matter?

"It matters to me." A feminine voice called out.

Cardin froze and slowly looked behind him. Daniel looked too to see Velvet holding her ear behind a girl with short dark-brown hair, and dark-brown eyes. She had wavy locks on one side of her face, dyed with a gradient that starts in dark brown and transitions to caramel. Her clothes consisted of a long, cocoa-colored shirt with a dark brown waist cincher. She wore long, dark brown trousers with ribbons on the left side and a brown belt with bullets. Above it, she wore another cocoa-colored belt of bullets with a gold crosshairs buckle. What appears to be a drape of black skirt hangs on her right side. She wears a pair of dark brown, high-heeled leather boots with buckles. She had a number of accessories, such a bracelet with black roses as decoration; these are accompanied by black gloves and necklaces. She wore a beret of a darker brown and a pair of black, wire-rimmed aviator sunglasses. She is seen holding a black shoulder bag with gold studs, which is held by a bandolier strap.

Cardin swallowed hard and started backing up as Coco started walking towards him.

Velvet came next to Daniel. "Velvet. Who's this? Your teammate?"

Velvet nodded. "Her name is Coco," She answers. Daniel looked at Velvet's ear and opened up her hand to see blood. Daniel's mouth hung wide as he looked at Cardin who had his mace drawn. "D-Daniel?"

Daniel's whole body turned into paper as he made his way behind Cardin. He stood behind him with his arms crossed as Cardin bumped into him. Cardin turned around.

"Cardin...what did you do?" Daniel asks with a pissed off face.

"I didn't do anything." Cardin says as he tightly grips his mace.

Daniel pushed Cardin in the chest. "Bull. Shit"

Cardin bumped into Coco which he immediately back up again. "I'm sorry!" He yells.

"Tell that to Velvet's face, not Coco Mate." Daniel moves to the side out of Velvet's way.

"She heard me." Cardin scoffs. Daniel growled and wrapped his arms around Cardins torso. "What are you-

Daniel then lifted him up and pile drived him into the ground.

Daniel then lifted Cardin's head up by his hair. "Alright, NOW say it. Velvet, come here," Velvet went up infront of Cardin. Daniel lifted Cardins head so he was looking at Velvet. "Say it!" Daniel demands.

Cardin sighs "I'm sorry... Velvet."

Daniel looked at Velvet to see her nod.

Daniel nodded and grabbed the scissors and put them in his pocket. He then covered Cardin's mace in layers of paper and lifted him up and gave it to him. "Get lost," Daniel threatens. Cardin ran off. Daniel sighed and looked at Velvet. "Heh, guess thats two you owe me huh?"

Velvet giggled "Yeah."

Daniel touched Velvet's ear. A thick layer of paper wrapped itself around the cut. "Until you get real bandages, that'll do."

Velvet smiled. "Thank you Daniel."

Daniel nodded. Coco took off her glasses and looked Daniel up and down "So your the infamous paper boy huh?" Coco asks.

Daniel mentally face palmed and looked at her. "Please don't call me that."

Coco walked up to you and smiled. "Names Coco Adel. Leader of both Velvet here and team CFVY." She introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you Coco." He smiles.

Coco circled Daniel. "Who chose your clothing?" She asks.

"Uhh...I did...?" He states.

"Hmm...I'll give your choice nine out of ten." She smiles.

Daniel looked at Velvet for guidance. "Don't worry, she rarely says that. She'd take you clothes shopping the next day straight after if you were below a five."

"That good huh?" He looks at Coco "What makes me so special?"

She shuffled on the spot swaying her body side to side. "Might be the clothing, your power that you hold, or~" Daniel jumped a bit when he felt a small slap on his butt. He looked at Coco who had a very flirty look. "Something else~"

Coco started walking away swaying her hips. Velvet followed her while waving bye to Daniel. Daniel waved slightly still stunned from what just happened. "Goddamn."

"How the hell does she fit all that into dem trousers." A familiar voice says behind Daniel.

Daniel turned around to see... "Sam?!" He exclaims.

"Hey Daniel." Sam waves.

"How did you get here?" Daniel goes up to his friend.

"I'm staff here. Janitor position." He states.

"Since when?" Daniel asks.

"Since yesterday. Coffee shop is my first job, this is now my second. The luxurious campus of beacon academy." He shows off his staff ID.

Daniel crossed his arms. "Fancy. What's up anyway?

Sam frowned "Are you still mad about last time. Look I'm sorry to have bummed you out like that but after people saw what you did, they were scared."

Daniel sighs "Yeah so know. Every day's the same."

"Okay look, I came here to tell you that I have info. Well sorta."

"Info?" Daniel got confused.

"Yeah. About the boats full of schnee dust company crates have been dissappearing non stop. They reported five ships, well guarded by Atlas aircraft and infantry aboard," Daniel was more confused. "You don't watch the news do you?"

Daniel shook his head "Nope. I thought it was just that one ship we saw on the news three days ago. Either way how could five secure ships just disappear just like that?"

Sam shrugged. "It's odd I know. Every search party for dust cargo has come up with authorities empty handed again and again."

"Why are you telling me this?" Sam asks.

Sam got up close to Daniel and whispered. "I have a contact in Vale that may have some info and also a lead on a strike that might be planned tonight."

Daniel thought about this. It would be good to get a clearer view with this whole ships disappearing thing. Plus, the feeling of having dust taken away probably has everyone stressed enough. No dust, no protection, trouble with Grimm. "I'm in. How do i find this guy?" Sam pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to Daniel. Daniel read it, it had an address on it. Daniel nodded. "I'll leave right away."

"Good. Oh and Daniel," Daniel turned back to Sam. "Thanks for doing this. Also keep an eye on my contact. He can come up with some pretty irrational ideas, so don't feel afraid to question him or suggest something else."

Daniel nodded and made his way out of beacon into Vale.

Whoo chapter 5 finally!

Bet some are glad, bet some are mad cause it took so long, but hey. We've waited for stuff longer rhan this book *cough* *cough* Kingdom hearts 3.
