One night, just before the fireworks bursts and painted the sky. A child lost her innocence. She was introduced to a state unlike any other.

Death.

Before, she thought everyone that disappeared from her life just moved away. Moved away to a beautiful place. Her mother said so, and her father nodded at her words.

So she believed.

But now she didn't.

That night, was the night that her mother died.

A heart attack.
A slip.
And a crack.

Those were all it takes to snapped her from the white lies that her mother had told her.

The ones that vanished from her life never left the town.

Instead, they left the world.

It was that night she felt her first sorrow.
