It's friday at mag kakaroon ng event tomorrow na kailangan namin iorganize ngayon. Medyo hassle kasi walang bibili ng mga materials para sa design ng stage.

I just found myself here in the mall. With the Vice President. It seems na may problem siya so hindi ko na siya kinibo at dumiretso na sa supplies store para bilhin ang mga kailangan. Nakasunod naman siya saakin.

"We might need this. Should I get one?" I asked, holding the wires that I think can be used in our decoration.

Tila bumalik naman ang ulirat niya at napatingin saakin.

"I'm sorry, what?" He asked. So hindi pala niya narinig ang sinabi ko? Wala ba siya sa sarili niya? Why do I feel that I need to ask why he's preoccupied.

"Mr. Vice President, what's bothering you? You are not focusing. Mas lalo tayong napapatagal dito." I asked at tumalikod upang kunin ang push cart pero inagaw niya 'yon saakin.

Mr. Vp is gentleman. Napangisi ako. My type of guy.

"Look, I'm sorry it's just that, marami lang gumugulo sa isip ko. I'm sorry Ms. Secretary."

Formal. We are both professionals. Muntik ko nang makalimutan. We are just together because of this freaking organization that we are belong to.

Ngumiti lang ako sakaniya at kinuha ang paper bags na nasa counter at lumabas ng supplies store.

And again, inagaw niya ang paper bag.

Bat ba parang may humahaplos sa puso ko everytime he did that being gentleman thing? The freak?

"Can we eat first before going back to school Ms. Secretary? I'm quite starving." Inaya niya ako at siyempre pumayag ako. Hindi dahil gusto ko siya makasama but I'm hungry as well.

Bat ba kailangan ko mag explain. I don't need anyone's opinion. I'm Iannah Cervantes. Duh.

Dinala niya ako sa isang fastfood restaurant at pumila kami.

"What do you want?" He asked me.

"Pasta and Fries only. Here." Inabot ko sakaniya yung pera pero tinanggihan niya 'yon.

"I will treat you." He said. The freak?

"I can buy my own food." Inaabot ko padin sakaniya yung pera.

"I will pay for your meal. Now Ms. Secretary, kindly find us a table and sit there and wait for me. It's an order from Vice President." He said. Isang beses ko palang siyang nakitang ngumiti at hindi na naulit 'yon. At si Iarrah pa ang dahilan ng bagay na 'yon. Not me.

Napangiti ako. I know in my personality, hindi ko ugali mag labas ng emosyon pero this guy? Siya ata ulit ang nakahanap ng ngiti na matagal hindi lumabas sa emosyon ko.

And I actually hate it.

Distraction.

Dumating na siya dala yung pagkain at nagsimula narin kaming kumain ng hindi nag kikibuan.

After our meal, nag lakad na kami palabas ng mall at dumiretso na sa school.

Dinala namin ang gamit sa stage at may mga nagaayos dun kaya binigay namin sakanila. Sumunod nadin ako kay Mr. Vp sa office.

I actually followed him hanggang sa mismong office niya.

Wala nang atrasan 'to.

I'll eat my pride.

"Do you have something to say Ms. Secretary?" He asked. Looking at me with his confused face.

"I uhm, I actually like you Mr. Vice President. " buong loob kong sabi. Mukhang nagulat naman siya.

Duh ofcourse? Kaming dalawa na hindi nag kikibuan tas magugulat siya aamin ako?

Eh sa gusto ko siya e. And I can get everything I want. Because, I'm Iannah Cervantes.

"Come again?" Hindi makapaniwalang sambit niya.

"I said, I like you, Axel." I confidently said.

"I'm sorry but I have nothing to do with your feelings." He said at bumalik sa binabasa niyang accounting book.

"What? No! I just ate up all my pride tas ganiyan sagot mo? You are selfish, Axel." Di makapaniwalang sambit ko sakaniya.

Binitiwan niya ang libro at tumingin saakin.

"First, hindi ko kasalanan na nag confess ka. Next, don't call me Axel. You are the Secretary and I'm the vice president. Nothing less, nothing more. Lastly, you are not my type. I'm sorry Ms. Secretary but you may now leave." Mahinahong sambit niya.

"No! Panindigan mo 'to! I-- I was amazed by your presence nung campaign natin last year. Gladly we both won and nag kasama. I don't know where it start--"

"I don't need your explanation, I'm professional with my work Ms. Secretary. Now, please leave. Mas maraming bagay ang mas importante sakin kesa sa feelings mo." Sabi niya at itinaas ang accounting book niya.

Napangiti naman ako ng mapait.

"Well then, I will leave now Mr. Vice President." Sambit ko pero hindi niya ako tinignan. Simula palang pa, wala na talaga siyang paki sakin. "And oh, bu the way, thanks for the meal." Nakangiting sambit ko bago lumabas ng office niya.

Sino nga ulit ako? Ah, Iannah Cervantes.
