Ineffable | Two
Bokuto Koutarou may or may not be a social person.
This, was actually the question he asked himself every single day. He was indeed loud and... wild, as how Sawamura put it, but he hated that part where he had to introduce himself with all formalities, so he tend to stay with his old friends.
One of them, was Akaashi Keiji.
"Hey, hey, hey!! Akaashi!!"
"Bokuto-san," his companion responded, "How are you?"
"Perfect! You, Akaashi?"
"I'm good. I took a few days off, so I think we can have watch that movie together.
"YESS!!! You're the best, Akaashi!!"
"When can I go to your house? I have plans tonight, but for later this week, I'm free."
"Hmm..." Bokuto frowned, deep in thought, "... I'm not sure... My boss might just call for a meeting anytime, so I can't make any promises..."
Akaashi narrowed his eyes. Was it about the White-Crows? Bokuto was that kind of person who has free time almost everyday, he stay up late just to have a Discovery Channel marathon, and went hiking almost every week since middle high.
"That's rare, Bokuto-san."
"AKAASHIIII, I'M SORRY!!!" the older male whined, his eyes began to tear up as he was about to cry.
"I'm not mad. Work comes first, right? It's okay."
Bokuto 's lips were still quivering, but now he was looking at Akaashi expectantly. Akaashi shook his head disapprovingly, and began to walk away from the owl-like man.
"Come on, Bokuto-san. Let's get some yakiniku, it's on me."
And before he knew it, Bokuto had already started jumping around like a little kid, yelling his appreciation on the simple offer Akaashi gave.
Bokuto couldn't help but to wonder. Akaashi had always been so calm and collected, so patient taking care of his antics. Doesn't he have any other things to do? Beside his work, like, a hobby? Volleyball was all he knew. Bokuto spend a long time on TV and computer, but what about Akaashi? What about Akaashi's social life? It's a mystery waiting to be solved.
"Hey, Akaashi, do you have friends?"
"Yes. You, Bokuto-san."
"No, I mean beside me! Like, from work or anything!"
"...You're that curious..?" Akaashi asked back, slightly amused. He began to think about the other members of the Golden Cats, and that made him smile.
"YES! TELL ME, AKAASHIII!!!"
"Before that, tell me about your job, Bokuto-san."
"NOOO!!! AKAASHI, IT'S A SECRET! But I want to know about your other friends!"
Akaashi ignored him easily, as he felt his phone vibrated in his pocket. He flipped it open, and read the text he had been expecting. His smile only grew bigger, and he fastened his pace towards the restaurant.
'Station-A, at 11. Don't be late, Keiji.'

Kenma stayed still in his spot, smiling slightly as he welcomed the man who entered the small coffee shop. As soon as the man looked up, however, he immediately had to hold back the urge to turn away and left.
"Good evening, sir. What would you like to have?"
The man read the menu, and narrowed his eyes. Kuroo, a man in his mid-twenties, hated going to public places like this. Not that he has some kind of social anxiety or allergy to human interactions, but he preferred not to talk to strangers (unless they interest him).
'All I need is coffee,' he chanted, 'Take the caffeine and get out of this place!' He looked up, ready to order, but he froze when he saw the man in front of him.
The man was awfully familiar. He kept a very calm expression, so patient and composed. Blonde hair with dark brown roots, and also a pair or sharp hazel eyes, similar to a cat's.
Wait. Golden hair, cat-like eyes-...
"Excuse me, sir?" Ah, right. That coffee.
"One coffee latte and a chocolate muffin," Kuroo stated, handing the man his money.
"Coming right up. The total would-..." everything seemed to blur, the voice seemed muffled, as the man's fingers brushed past his. Kuroo bit the inside of his lip, holding back a cringe.
What was this strange feeling?
"Here's your change. Have a good day, sir!"
Kuroo nodded a silent thank you, grabbing his meal and began to leave the counter. He almost turned to look back, but decided against it, and lost himself in his thoughts.
But that pair of eyes continued to follow him, watching his every gesture with analysis.
"You look distracted, Kozume."
Kenma turned, and gave a small smile to one of his co-worker, Terushima Yuuji, "It's nothing, Terushima."
"Oh, really?" Yuuji asked, smirking, "That customer seemed special."
"He looked like an old friend of mine, that's all," Kenma swiftly lied, and luckily Yuuji seemed to believe his words.
"Well, just pay attention. It seems like you're having a meet up tonight, you can't get distracted."
"How did you know?"
"I saw you texting. Tell you what? You can leave early, I'll finish your work, but you have to tell me more about that ravenette hottie," Yuuji offered, now grinning, while Kenma raised a questioning eyebrow.
"That last customer! Latte and muffin!"
"... Ravenette hottie...?"
"Don't question me! Now what about my offer?"
"No."
"I'll give another bonus! I'll lend you my-..."
"No." Kenma's reply was the same, but Terushima hadn't give up yet.
"...- that DVD they launched last week!"
"Already have that one."
"Oh, what about I tell you the release date of their next DVD?"
"One year, four months, twenty-three days, and seven hours from now."
Terushima almost slammed his fist down the counter, but he was lucky he had enough self-control not to do so. Kenma, ever so calmly, turned his head to look at the clock.
"Ah, my shift is over. I guess I'll take my leave."
"Oi, Kozume, wait-..."
"See you later, Terushima."
Unfortunately, Terushima didn't see the cunning smile Kenma wore on his face.
