Oikawa decided that he regretted ever giving his own suggestion.

Satori Tendou was far from a nice person to meet. His appearance made Oikawa felt at least a bit wary, and his nickname, 'The Guess Monster', was kinda scary. Tendou had spiky, bright red hair, with eyebrows of a corresponding color. He also had large downturned eyes giving him a sleepy looking expression. His pupils are small and dark red, but no matter how uncaring he looked like, Oikawa could tell that he wasn't someone to be underestimated. He has a medium build, and he was quite tall, even though his attitude was similar to a kid's.

"What is it~ that breaks with a crickety-crack? Your heart of course~!" Oikawa heard him sang, and he couldn't help but to cringe at lyrics.

"Satori Tendou."

"Ah! It's the same, old, Tetsurou!"

"Please address me properly," Kuroo muttered, closing the door. Oikawa leaned on on the wall, crossing his arms as he watched Kuroo sat in front of the metal table, across the prisoner, while Bokuto stood on the side.

"You want information from me, don't you?"

'So that's where the nickname came from,' Oikawa mused, 'Interesting.'

"I'll cut this short. Do you know a gang called 'The Golden Cats'?"

Tendou grinned, "So your job now is to catch them. And you must be looking for Neko, specifically."

"Just answer the question," Bokuto said, letting out a huff.

"I know him. He's quite well-known, actually. And not to mention that he's my nemesis," Tendou explained, "Not the whole gang, just Neko alone. People like him will always be my foe."

Oikawa sent him a questioning look, and the grin grew wider.

"He may be a gang leader, but he's acting like the good guy. He had been hunting drug dealers like me for years. I'm sure it's not just for the bounty, he specifically chose to kill anyone involved in illegal drugs business."

Bokuto narrowed his eyes, "Sounds strange. Continue."

"His gang is known not for their strength. The Golden Cats are known for their intelligence. Neko is very smart, you know? You can't find him easily. He's just like a cat. Fast, agile, quick response and all. And Neko's quite impatient, so if you don't find him soon enough, he'll be the one who found you. You need block his way out. If you really want to win against their gang, you need to face them head on. Most of them lack physical abilities, they're usually long range fighters, that's their weakness."

"Anything else?"

"They have connections. They're allies with the Iron Eagles, the strongest gang in this town, according to rumors. It was said that their two founders were once Neko's underlings. Most probably, the three of them were the ones who broke into my hideout and saved you two years ago," Tendou shrugged, "And that's all I can tell you."

"That's quite useful. Are we done yet, Kuroo?" Oikawa asked.

Kuroo stayed silent.

"You're wondering why did I capture you back then," Tendou said calmly with a smirk, and received a glare in return. The redhead sighed slightly, "At that time, I was planning to find Neko and finish him myself, since he was getting troublesome to my business."

"And why me? I had nothing to do with him."

"I want to lure him into my hideout and kill him there. As I said, he always acts like the good guy."

"What a foolish reason," Kuroo grunted, as he rose from his seat, and began to make his way towards the door. Bokuto followed him, and although he was reluctant, Oikawa slowly left as well. But as he closed the door, he didn't miss Tendou's last words.

"Well, Agent Tetsurou, you were, and still are, the perfect bait to find Neko."

Kenma never thought it would come to this; him as a gang leader. It all started with a small group, trying to survive in the cruel reality.

Now? They're criminals, hunted, with their lives on the line.

Kenma wanted to keep the original purpose of the gang, and he tried his best to keep the other members as 'innocent' as possible. He never told them about his real job as the gang leader, all he did was letting them know when and where will their next artistic activities be, while during his free time, he worked in a small cafe on weekends.

And a bounty hunter as well.

After all, he needed the money. To help Kei to afford his studies, Yuu's hospital bills. Also, since Shouyou had to take care of his little sister, Kenma felt the need to help him, too.

Lastly, Lev. The half-Russian was found by Kenma himself, half-dead as his body laid on the cold ground, covered with the falling snow, a pool of blood under him. It was years ago, but Kenma remembered it very well. Lev was an orphan, his parents were killed in his sight while he was shot as he was running away from some gang members who held grudges against his big sister.

Alisa Haiba, that's her name. She was an informant, before she was captured by a group of drug dealers who tortured her for leaking info about them.

Her life couldn't be saved.

And that's the reason why Kenma adored Lev so much, more as a little brother than his underling. The abnormally tall man had gone through a lot, but unlike Kenma, he was able to stay happy.

Kenma, truthfully, took that as a form of strength.

Anyways, Lev joined the gang. He managed to finish his studies, found a decent job, all with Kenma's help.

And Kenma managed to get all those money from his hidden profession, a bounty hunter. He mostly worked alone, but when he needed the help, he never asked his gang's.

He always asked the Iron Eagles.

That gang's members were mostly consisted of ex-members of other gangs, including the two founders, whom were once a part of The Golden Cats. Ushijima Wakatoshi and Takanobu Aone, ambitious men who wanted to power and control. They often destroyed other organization to take over it, and that's how their businesses now varied from weapons smuggling, assassinations, even info breaking.

However, sometimes brawns need brains. And that's where Kenma played his part.

He was the one who managed to bring he Eagles their victories, and frankly, he had some control over the gang, too. Partially, he was, as what people say, a shadow leader. Not willingly, but without him, the Iron Eagles wouldn't have their current strength.

Another reason why they never tried to do anything with The Golden Cats.

"You ready?" Kenma asked over the earpiece, as he lifted up his binocular and positioned it in front of his eyes.

'On your signal,' Wakatoshi's voice rang out.

Kenma waited. He could see the patrols walking past the door, "Right. Go. Second floor, the window on the left above the back door. It's empty, unlocked."

He watched as Wakatoshi's figure climbed up the wall, followed by Aone's, using the window to enter the building, as instructed.

"His room is on the sixth floor, last door on the right. Two guards at the front and two inside. Equipped with firearms, proceed with caution."

'Any back ups?' Aone asked.

"Ten armed men, approximately 3 minutes distance to the location."

'Alright. We'll give updates later. Can you contact the bounty office?'

"I will," Kenma finished the call, and dialed another number.

"Ukai-san?"

'How many times do I have to tell you? Just call me Keishin, Neko. Now what's the matter?'

"Another bounty. Suguru Daishou."

'Are you serious?! You just have another yesterday!'

"Not exactly yesterday. It's just 23 hours ago," Kenma corrected, but the older man clicked his tongue.

'Don't go technical on me, you sly cat,' Keishin muttered, 'And out of every human being in this planet, you chose Hebi.'

"... Stop criticizing me. I got the Eagles' help."

'And that's Neko for you~ He could make even the cruelest people to do as he say.'

"It's cooperation, not domination," Kenma corrected, "You're getting off topic. I'll be there in around 3 hours. See you later," the Neko hung up, and took off his earpiece, leaning back on the passenger seat as he closed his eyes.

"So many people under my control, and yet I'm still waiting for him. It's getting unbearable," a soft chuckle escaped his lips, golden eyes stared off into space.

"Just how pathetic is that?"
