Oikawa Tooru was a busy person. He worked in the military, now assigned to a special force, and even ordered to do all the researches and make all the reports.

So, no matter how much he dislikes it, Oikawa was used to staying up late or even not sleeping at all for a week. His job is hard, the rules are tight, and he had to stay calm and polite to everyone even with his lack of sleep. Seeing as how he had been a total Prince Charming since middle high, he somehow was able to hide his emotions from everyone.

Except from one person. His roommate, Iwaizumi Hajime. Iwa-chan, for short.

Iwaizumi was a very strict and uptight person. Oikawa knew him since the beginning of high school, as Iwaizumi was the only one blunt enough to say that he hated playboys like Oikawa (that's also how Oikawa managed to break free from his bad habit of dating girls out of curiosity and dumped them all in a few weeks).

Iwaizumi never had any interesting story to tell Oikawa. He hardly ever talked about his personal life, and it was just thanks to a few rounds of Truth-and-Dare's that Oikawa knew something about Iwaizumi's past and family.

Iwaizumi never attend elementary and middle high, his family couldn't afford it. Some friends helped him financially, and they faked many documents to be able to enter high-school. Iwaizumi chose Aoba Johsai, and that's how it was.

Of course, Oikawa kept that as a secret.

Now that they shared an apartment together, Oikawa began to know more about Iwaizumi. His Iwa-chan seemed harsh, but in reality, he's a total softie. He's a gentleman, he's good with animals, and he's very fond of children.

Iwaizumi worked as a fireman. With his tall, muscular built, his fast reflexes and his strength, it was a very suiting job. Oikawa himself never minded when Iwaizumi came home late at night, sweaty and annoyed, his body smelt like smoke and fire. After all, he had just saved another lives, so it doesn't matter, right?

In the end, though, Oikawa never knew when would his roommate be home. Iwaizumi often left at night and came back in the morning, or early in the morning and returned in the afternoon, going to sleep almost immediately.

Seeing as how Oikawa had more free time, he was the one who did all the laundry and the cleaning. Iwaizumi usually cooked for them, and made sure that Oikawa ate despite his pile of paperwork.

Oikawa sighed, and stared at the clock. Already one in the morning. He's definitely going to be late for work tomorrow, well, today.

The door suddenly opened, and Oikawa saw Iwaizumi walking in. He was wearing a strange black jacket, with a large number '3' on the side, with his backpack on, and he was holding a cat.

A freaking cat.

"Iwa-chan! You're back!"

"Shittykawa? You're still up?" Iwaizumi asked back, closing the front door and locked it.

"Yeah... Just some paperwork. Whose cat is that?"

"A friend of mine needs me to take care of it for a while. Now go to sleep, Shittykawa. You have work tomorrow."

Oikawa closed his laptop with a pout, but he knew better than to argue with Iwaizumi, "Oh, that's a cool jacket, by the way. Where did you get that, Iwa-chan?"

Oikawa swore Iwaizumi's breath hitched slightly.

"From a group of friends. Andnno, I'm not sharing any details with you. Go back to your room, have some sleep," Iwaizumi demanded.

Oikawa cringed. "Okay, okay. Good night, Iwa-chan!"

"Night."

Kenma continued to run, pulling out an earpiece and put it on, as he dialed a number. The answer came just a few seconds later.

'Kenma-san?'

"Guidance, please, Kiyoko."

'Got it. He's about 10 meter behind you, but he might be able to catch up soon. Any info about him?'

"Yamaguchi Tadashi. He has a gun, and he's quite the persistent one."

'Wait a second... Okay, I found him. He's not that good in hand-in-hand combat, but you need to finish him soon, he can call for reinforcements.'

"So I have to face him? Alright. Any place nearby I can use?"

'After this, turn right and then take the left. Then follow him, it'll be a dead end.'

"Got it. Thanks, Kiyoko."

'No problem. Anything else you need?' As he heard the question, Kenma took the right turn.

"Can you please contact the other members to make sure they're okay? I'll contact Hajime myself."

'... Alright. But why Hajime-san...'

"His roommate is a White Crow," Kenma explained, taking his final turn to the left, "Oikawa Tooru. He might receive the news soon, so I'll be the one to talk to Hajime. Tell Keiji to be careful with Bokuto, too."

'Understood. Is that all?'

"Yes. Thanks."

'No problem,' as the reply came, Kenma saw Yamaguchi ran past him.

Kenma chuckled slightly, and his footsteps turned silent as he followed his hunter. It was later on, as Yamaguchi panicked at the wall in front of him, that Kenma couldn't contain his laughter anymore.

"H-How-..."

"Experience, comrades, you call it," Kenma replied, preparing his gun, "It has been years and I never got caught. You think why is that?" the firearm was aimed at the officer's head, and Yamaguchi immediately copied his action.

"If I'm going to die, you're coming with me," Yamaguchi was shaking, but he didn't falter. His fingers were ready in front of the trigger, and he glared at Kenma with anger.

Kenma noticed this.

"You know what? I like you," Kenma said, lowering his gun, "You have guts, Tadashi."

Yamaguchi's grip loosened as he stook there, dumbfounded. Kenma saw the opening, and he quickly kicked the gun away, as he pinned the officer onto the wall, one of his hand holding the shoulder tight, his other hand pointing the gun to his chin.

"The baby crow is weak, though. He let his guard down and now the cat's ready to eat him," Kenma kneed him on the stomach, shoving the gun even closer.

Yamaguchi gritted his teeth in pain, struggling to ecape but failed miserably, although still maintaining his glare.

Kenma laughed, spinning the gun and put it away, "Be grateful of your Leader. Relay my message, please? 'Kuro, can't you find the lost kitten?' That's all."

Yamaguchi narrowed his eyes, "What do you want? What's your goal?"

Kenma smirked, "That's for me to know and for you to find out."

With that last statement, Kenma jumped, using Yamaguchi's shoulders as his foothold, and disappeared behind the wall.

Yamaguchi growled in frustration, while Kenma's laughter continued from behind the walls, as he scrolled through Yamaguchi's phone.
