Gender: Male
Pronouns: He/Him

Species: Avian Humanoid {His Left wing is Wood Stork, His Right wing is Northern Mockingbird}

Appearance:
Personality:
Pax is an energetic and sweet person. He is also a bit adventurous and tends to be rather curious about things, sometimes to the point where he might annoy someone about all sorts of things that he may have questions about. Of course, he never takes awareness of this up until he is told off. Upon realization, he will reasonably apologize for his nagging and annoying behavior.
Pax does try to be considerate of those around him, such as strangers, aquantiances, friends, family, etc. He often considers what would be the best thing to say in a situation, though Pax does occasionally say the wrong thing at the wrong time, or he might blurt out something without putting any thought into what he says.
When he is trying to get his energy out, Pax can be found flying, wandering around the land or the woods, scavenging for edible foods, etc. This gives an idea of potential places to locate Pax.
Pax is a pretty social individual. He can make friends with anyone easily, though this does set Pax up with the disadvantage of frequently trusting others who could very easily go behind his back and do something to make his life significantly worse.
Pax isn't good at self-defense. His go-to attacks or defensive actions include biting, kicking, hitting, weak punches, body slams-- and in terms of self-defense, the most he knows is how to defend his face and head.
Likes:
Pax highly values his wings, as well as his ability to fly. Despite having been frequently teased and screamed at for his bi-colored wings, Pax does not care for these degrading comments, and has learned to love himself the way he is.
Pax enjoys a good variety of foods. Though, a general list of foods he most prefers includes a variety of nuts, berries, cheese, and bread. By far though, Pax seems to highly favor his cheese and bread.
Open spaces. Open spaces allow for him to make a direct take off into the sky, that is if said open spaces have an open sky.
Rain. Despite having a hard time flying in such weather, Pax can't help but enjoy when it rains.
Dislikes:
Being 'grounded'. In other words, not being able to fly. Pax enjoys flying, so it seems reasonable for him to not favor being stuck on the ground for any particular reason.
The dark. To a certain extent, Pax can handle it. But, if he is stuck in a dark location for a specific duration of time, Pax may begin to panic and- well, cry.
Stale, spoiled or moldy foods. This one makes perfect sense. Pax, understandably, wouldn't want to eat spoilt food, which means he has to consume whatever food items he has before they potentially spoil, develop mold, or become stale. Under very specific circumstances, Pax may eat stale foods.
Certain textures of food. Though more specifically the texture of boiled vegetables.
Job(s): Pax works as an animal handler and a simple performer in a travelling circus from ages 15 to 18. He would send majority of his earnings to his parents, to help them live a half-decent life. From ages 18 and beyond, Pax would do small work on the side just to get a bit of extra earnings for himself.
Backstory:
Pax grew up in a poor household. He was born an only child, and to this day, he is still the only child to his parents. His mother, who bears the wings of a Northern Mockingbird, and his father, who bears the wings of a Wood Stork. Pax was born with a wing from each parent, which was odd enough as is. While Pax thought it to be cool and interesting, his peers thought otherwise, as well as the parents of his peers.
From a young age, Pax was bullied and teased for his bi-colored wings. When he was young, it bothered him a lot. But, as he started to reach his teen years, Pax developed a sense of confidence. He would push past these insults and degrading words. He went on to ignore them and learned to love himself, despite how different he was.
At the age of 14, Pax started working at a circus. It mostly stuck around in the city he grew up in, so he still kept in contact with his parents. Pax originally worked as someone who manned the ticket booth for the circus. After a year, Pax then began to work as an animal handler for the circus, though it wasn't long before he would also gain the title of a performer. These would remain his jobs to this day.
The circus, at a random point, would then begin to travel across the land. Pax decided to go along with the travelling circus. He would continue to work in this traveling circus up until the age of 18. Leaving the circus was.. difficult, to say the least. They didn't want him to leave, but in the end, he made his departure.
At the age of 18, Pax would go on to explore the world with no restraints. He would do random kinds of work in order to at least have money to spend on things like food and other supplies or necessities. Pax, as it turns out, really enjoys living like this.
Abilities:
Pax has the obvious ability to fly. Though, thanks to his different shaped wings, Pax faces certain problems when it comes to flying. He can't fly for long durations of time. At most, he could fly for about 45 minutes at a time. Flying for any longer would cause Pax to grow tired rather quickly, and he would be at risk of falling due to said tiredness.
Given his connections to the Northern Mockingbird, Pax is capable of understanding and speaking to animals.
Given his connections to the Wood Stork, Pax has proven to have an easier time with swimming, and his Wood Stork wing doesn't have a lot of issues in terms of drying off after Pax swims.
Other:
All roleplays with Pax should take place in a Medieval fantasy setting. {Exceptions can be made}
Scenario One: {Character must be around ages of 16 to 17}
A travelling circus had recently arrived in your hometown, and you couldn't help but feel a bit curious about the circus and what kind of individuals were part of the circus. You expected for there to be a couple of odd looking individuals who worked at the circus. So, at some point, you would kind of poke around and observe the caravans, which were still in the early stages of being unloaded. You found yourself a spot to observe from, that being just behind some bushes that were at the tree line behind the gathered caravans.
While a group of average looking people would start to set up one of those iconic circus tents, you would take notice that one of the carts being hauled along was being opened up. Inside the cart was two white horses, which you had identified earlier, as it was the closest cart to where you were hidden. But, who had opened the side door to the cart? The individual who you were questioning would lead both horses out of the cart by their leads, the horses trailing after them.
You could easily identify the boy as quite the oddity..! The wings upon his back were one thing, but it was a whole new thing to discover that these wings resembled two completely different types of bird wings, in terms of shape and patterning and whatnot. That aside, you would watch as the boy guided the two horses out into the open area where the circus was to be set up. At some point, he removed the halters from the two horse's heads, and allowed them to graze.
While the two horses grazed, the boy seemed to wander about briefly, and then- you swear your and his eyes met. Was this like one of those love at first sight moments..? NOPE! Panic struck you and you ducked behind the bush, hoping he would not call you out or address your presence to his fellow circus workers.
You..?
Scenario Two: {Character must be around ages of 16 to 17}
You had run away from home. Maybe that wasn't a smart choice, but oh well. Here you were, travelling along the dirt paths by foot, hoping to reach another destination. You hadn't really seen anyone travelling ahead of you, so you believed that you were all on your own. Well, turns out, that was incredibly false. At first, you could hear the very faint and distant noise of perhaps carts drawn by horses approaching from somewhere far behind you. But then this noise built up, and started to grow louder. Along with this was the noises of people conversating.
You finally dared to turn around and face what was approaching, and couldn't help but hurry to the edge of the dirt path. Passing by was what seemed to be a decently sized caravan of people, animals, and other things. It was easy to piece together that this was a travelling circus. As the carts would pass by you, you felt the urge to ask if you could accompany the travelling circus, at least until they reached their own destination.
So, you looked around, before eventually approaching a similar aged boy who bore a set of bi-colored wings. You would ask if you could travel with the circus for now, and which the boy would provide a nod and informed you that you could tag along. And so, you would do just that. You traveled with the caravan, though more specifically alongside the boy- who you learned was named Pax. You and the caravan would travel until the sky grew dark thanks to the approach of nighttime. The caravan would pull off to the side of the path, and the people began to set up camp.
You..?

Make It Up.
