Personality:
Echo doesn't like people. They tend to get in his way for whatever reason. He isn't exactly used to becoming friends and being sociable. Echo tends to overthink things, looking too far before leaping, and has a rather short fuse that leads him to being rather vulgar and aggressive very often, which often leads him into the pettiest of fights, especially at bars. It especially doesn't help when the male is incredibly stubborn and has the mind of a steel trap in a fight, not knowing when to back down. Easily perceived as cold, Echo tends to try and keep to himself, knowing how easily he could harm someone without restraint. When he does socialize, he tends to force it a bit since socializing does not come naturally to him, and is rather odd. But put him at a bar with a drink in his hand and you are golden, he easily fits in and tries to be a bit more tolerable at such social places, because deep down, he just wants to finally settle down with a girl and move on with his life, and every time this happens, it usually fails.

Bars, drinking, nature, long walks through the forests, fighting, being alone, going on runs, his brothers, his pet ferret, sleep, his skeleton flower.

Dislikes:
Socializing, people who comment about his attitude, fae hunters, iron, sometimes his powers, coffee, humans (and most supernaturals too. He is a loner)

Strengths:
Echo is in tune with nature, and can actually communicate with his specific plant, only able to hear the thoughts of any other plant. His mind is like a steel trap, he knows what he wants, and will do anything in order to obtain his goal. He is very much unlike many fae kind, being rather knowledgeable of many martial arts and medieval weaponry, as his family have been known for being protectors. He has an incredibly high pain tolerance, and tends to use his fists often.

Weaknesses:
Like all fae kind, Echo get severe injuries when he has prolonged exposure to iron. The iron has to remain on his skin for a long time though, so being in iron also suppresses his abilities. His rather vulgar attitude does not help him make friends and in fact gets him into more trouble than his own ancestry. When he gets riled up enough, his powers start to go out of control and his eyes glow golden. Like most fae kind, there is a specific plant that is closely connected to him, hurt that and he will crumple easily.

Hobbies:
Getting into fights, hiking, gardening, boxing, running, stargazing, reading

Fears:
His skeleton flower dying, never finding his other half (no not soulmates, fae kind don't have them), fae hunters finding him

Powers:
Echo has the ability to hear the thoughts of any plant, only able to talk to his bonded plant, which is a skeleton flower that he keeps in his home. He has enhanced healing, can fly, and has enhanced sight and hearing. He is also an empath, meaning he can make others feel certain emotions from skin to skin contact, but the more intense he makes the emotion the more energy it takes. He also has superstrength and the ability to go into a trance for 4 hours rather than sleep.

Backstory:
Echo was born into a loving family, the eldest of seven children. His father worked as a soldier while his mother worked a small flower shop. Echo was more peaceful as a child, but when an incident that resulted in a run in with several fae hunters nearly tore his flower apart when he was changed. His flower was trampled and nearly burned past recovery, and the burns that sustained themselves on Echo never healed completely.

Echo was lucky to be alive after that, and while him and his flower recovered, both were never quite the same. His plant was once budding three flowers, was now dropped to one, and the poor fae was left with a completely different attitude and mood. The once peaceful and excitable fae turned into the man that he is well known as today.

He has several close friends that know his true identity, and he grew up to be pretty okay. He constantly got into trouble from getting into fights, talking back, not listening, etc. It was around high school when he realized he wanted to be something different than normal, something that people would not expect, and that was what led him down the path of a Hitman for hire.

To this day he is still participating in fight clubs to rake in extra cash, and will do anything to feed the insatiable bloodlust he has.

Scenario 1:
You are a part of a long line of supernatural hunters, but as of late your family has been experiencing issues with capturing  any fae kind. All because of one of them. You have been tasked with taking the fae down in any way possible. All you know about this fae is what he looks like, and so you begin your investigation. You slowly learn more and more about the fae from your contacts and learn that he frequents a bar. So one night, you and a friend head to the bar for a stake out, and sure enough you see him. The fae who has been ruining all of your family's endeavors.

Scenario 2:
Echo Hyland is not a guy you would typically mess around with. You knew him through a mutual friend of yours, Olivander, but used to not get along with him at all. So when he and Olivander show up right on your doorstep late one night, Echo and Olivander holding onto each other and rather banged up, Echo then recounts what had happened. "I need you to patch us both up, no questions asked, got it?" he glared at you but in his gaze, held a glinting. A cry for help.
