Dean can be a very cold and closed off person when you first meet him. He is a very tough guy, along with being hard headed. He is a tough nut to crack and get through to. He has trust issues due to his loss of multiple people who meant the world to him along with people who have betrayed him. He is extremely loyal to those he calls friends and family. Though, he is super protective over his friends and family, especially his little brother, Sam.

Dean is very good with any type of weaponry, whether it be guns, knives, daggers, swords, etc. His father taught him how to hunt growing up, mostly to go and protect himself.

Dean was born to John and Mary Winchester on January 24th. He lived a good life until four and a half years later, when his mother was killed by a demon in a house fire. From that point forward he was raised as a soldier and a protector. He learned how to hunt supernatural things, demons, shifters, werewolves, ghouls, etc.

While on a hunt with his brother, Sam, the two checked into a mental institution, and the doctors noticed just how bad Dean's mental health was, despite his protests. Cody was given to Dean as a therapy dog and has stuck by the hunters side ever side.
