Rumi has clear, light brown skin with dark brown eyes that cause her beautiful emerald green eyes to stick out like a soar thumb. She's very short, and has a soft hour glass figure.

Rumi's favorite thing would have to be reading. Everywhere she goes, there's a good chance she's reading some type of book. Rumi has a fondness for traveling. She wants to see the world, and learn about all different types of people and cultures. Rumi likes singing, and playing instruments. She has a beautiful singing voice due to some lessons she took when she was younger in France. She also enjoys casting spells. It's not her most favorite thing, but she enjoys doing it nonetheless. She uses book magic, so she has a small spellbook that she carries around with her and it's her most prized possession. Rumi also has a strange obsession with reptiles.

[DISLIKES]
Rumi absolutely hates people who legitimately think they're better than others based on a simple thing like looks. People such as that anger her very much. While she doesnt hate it, Rumi has a strong dislike for when people use what they could for good, on evil. She doesn't think that someone's backstory should ultimately decide what they do with their lives. It isnt really a particular dislike as Rumi is more neutral on the matter, but movies. She doesn't like watching them, especially when theirs a book version. She believes that the movies also skip out and change the most critical parts.

[STRENGTHS]
Rumi has a strong moral sense of right and wrong. She isnt afraid to stick up for what she believes in, and her views arent easily changed. She also has a very wide range of knowledge.

[WEAKNESSES]
Rumi is a very stubborn girl. She isnt too friendly when you first meet her, either. She tends to be very hostile towards people she's just recently met. When it comes down to being a witch, she isn't the strongest, which keeps her vulnerable to being hurt but other stronger witches and creatures.

[FLAWS]
Rumi has a tendency of not allowing people into her life. Its not because of trust issues, but she just happens to not have very good people skills, so it's hard to do so.

[HABITS]
When she gets excited or upset, Rumi has a tendency to speak in French. Another habit of hers is that she bites the inside of her cheeks when she's thinking about something.

[PET PEEVES]
Although it's a bit unreasonable, one of Rumi's biggest pet peeves would definitely be screaming children. More particularly when they're screaming for no reason. Another one of her pet peeves is when people start a conversation as they walk by. She finds it extremely annoying.

[PERSONALITY]
Overall, Rumi isn't neccesarily a bad or mean girl. She follows her own rules, and finds authority to be fairly useless especially when they're just trying to be more controlling of the people than helpful. Rumi, although its not a dominant trait, can be sarcastic from time to time. Shes a headstrong girl and that's shown in a lot of things she does. She can easily take a leadership role, but isn't afraid to step down and let someone else lead when she thinks they're more fit for the job. Rumi is pretty laid back when she first meets a person. If you're lucky, she'll show her "softer" side. Which is basically her being all fangirly over seeing some type of reptile.

Spell book magic and potions, but she isnt strong enough for big ones.

[BACKSTORY]
Rumi grew up in a strict village. As one of the only daughters of her parents she was held to higher expectations, since women were seen as weaklings. This grew into a hatred. She refused to learn the typical lady like spells her village was willing to teach her. She ended up running away at the age of 11 to travel the world on her own. She met a lot of nice people on the way, but she also met some bad people. When she was about 12, an old rival of her family went after the girl and kidnapped her, to which she was nearly killed. Rumi was able to escape though, after stabbing the man and fleeing. She doesn't know if hes dead or alive right now. No one else was able to really get to her after that, but she did meet other bad people who tried. One good thing that happened on her journey was Petulant, a small all white baby bearded lizard she found on her 16th birthday; her familiar.

Rumi has a fairly weak french accent, but its obvious that it's there, especially when she speaks French. Due to all her traveling, the girl knows three languages; English, French and Haitian Creole.
