Note:
I wanted to do a fun little Halloween special! It's been a few years since I've done that, and even then, I never did something too "scary".

This time I want to make a story where you, the role-player, escape and navigate several beasts and monsters and otherworldly beings! I did my best to keep my monsters varied and hopefully provide enough uniqueness to keep this going with a couple thrills.

Here's the fun part- some of these characters can be your friends, guiding you through your maze or simply keep you company, depending on your interactions or choices you make. I wish you luck in finding out how to make them your friends- and whose even worth that effort.

The short "files" you're provided with only show surface level, and possibly biased, information, so it's up to you to decide what's true and not, try not to trust everything you read. Then again, there might be a few hints laid about!

With that said, let's begin with our monsters' introductions!

Name: Experiment B1800
Accepts the name Adzoa.

Gender: Claims to be female

Age: Experiment has admitted to being 46 years old from their planet, but also admits time is recorded differently on their planet.

Appearance:

Species: Alien

Traits: Herbivore. Short sighted being. Lives mainly in the dark and dislikes bright lights. Calm experiment, approach gently but firmly. Little risk of injury.

Background:

Experiment was found in the woods after a mysterious space craft crashing. Minimal injuries but has spent the last few years learning the English language. Hesitant to be kept in the lab but has adjusted.

Accepts the name Crissy.

Gender: Female

Age: 23 years old

Appearance:

Species: Slime-type-past human.

Traits: Omnivore. Approach normally. Cooperative experiment but may try to hide or escape during testing. Little risk of injury.

Background:

Experiment taken from outside and has been altered completely.
Experiment cannot be physically injured but seems to hold onto this fear even now and remains in corners or hiding spots if allowed.

Accepts the name Marilyn.

Gender: Female

Age: 40

Appearance:

Species: Unknown. Humanoid. Past human.

Traits: Omnivore. Experiment is open to cooperation but very dangerous to further pressing when resisting. Approach cautiously. Medium risk of injury.

Background:

Taken from outside. Altered and has grown in height several feet. Experiments become almost predatory. Experiment seems to hold attachments easily.

Accepts the name Siren, likely because it's possible classification was said so often

Gender: Female

Age: Appears to be an adult. 20-30 possibility.

Appearance:

Species: Mermaid/siren possibility- Sea creature.

Traits: Omnivore. Experiment is tricky and clever. Approach cautiously. Will attack un-provoked. High risk of injury.

Background:

Experiment taken from the ocean. Experiment has sharp fins and claws to hunt and use for defense. In the process of learning English, but seems resistant to the language.

Keep Experiment A3900 tank separated from A4809 at all times.

Experiment has been separated from all other compatible sea creatures for the time being- do not feed.

Accepts no name.

Gender: Unknown

Age: Unknown

Appearance:

Species: Sea creature.

Traits: Carnivore. Experiment is tricky and clever. Approach cautiously. Will attack un-provoked. High risk of injury.

Background:

Experiment taken from the ocean. Fast predator. Has the ability to hunt on land but seems to prefer the water.

Do not open the latch on top of tank other then to feed. Keep Experiment A3900 tank separated from A4809 at all times.

Accepts the name Dee, may be direct cause of the beginning of its code name.

Gender: Female

Age: Unknown

Appearance:

Species: Unknown. Hybrid of animal/human

Traits: Carnivore. Loud noises startle this experiment. Approach quietly and in clear view. Experiment is very strong, use provided taser if you are caught. High risk of injury.

Background:

Experiment has been raised in the lab, genetically modified and changed. Experiment seems unable, or unwilling, to learn any language.

Accepts no name but will respond to voices it hears regularly.

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown

Appearance:

Species: Unknown.

Traits: Carnivore. Experiment is blind and appears to call out and tap its limbs to get around comfortably. Approach with clear sounds and sedate upon needing testing. High risk of injury.

Background:

Experiment has been raised in the lab. Dangerous and hunts everything it can hear if it does not recognize it as a familiar sound. Experiment seems unable, or unwilling, to learn any language.

Appearance:

Species: Unknown. Wolf-like.

Traits: Omnivore. Experiment is similar to a wolf. Approach cautiously. High risk of injury.

Background:

Experiment taken from the woods and modified/altered. Grew in size and has more dominating/aggressive traits.

Scene:

You've been kidnapped! Well, you've been kidnapped for a few days now.

Whatever the last thing you remember doing, doesn't matter now, as you wake up on a cold steel floor, bars surrounding you. You were placed in a cage. Your head was killing you. You were thirsty- ridiculously thirsty, not having food or water for those few days. Thankfully, as you turn your head you notice a water bottle knocked over, still unopened, in the cage. As you grab it quickly and drink your fill of what you need, you finally get a look at your surroundings....

A dead body is knocked over right in front of your open cage, as if the woman was trying to close the bars and was attacked before she could close it completely. The sight of ripped up flesh and the smell that hit you suddenly almost made you choke on the water you just got a hold of.

You're in some kind of.. fucked up hospital? Filled with equipment and thrashed beds and other items... this had to be a nightmare..

You had to find a way out of here. Maybe the body in front of you had something useful in that now blood stained coat, or maybe all the drawers in the room could turn up some information on what the hell all this was or what happened.

Maybe there would even be something to eat nearby, your stomach nearly twisting in on itself in hunger at every move.
