Backstory: Venusflower, as Infernoblaze's firstborn, was supposed to be the next in line for the leadership of the Moon Pack. But when Bracken, who had just became Alpha of the Sun Pack, attacked, he stole Venusflower because she was the heir. She grew up in the Sun Pack, and grew attached to Dust. But unlike Moon Pack traditions, where any female and male could be mates, the Sun Pack had a tradition where females could only mate with the leader. Venusflower was fine with this because Dust was the heir of the Sun Pack. But when Dust failed a mission and lost his heir status, Venusflower feared they couldn't be mates. Then Dust had the idea of killing Sun Pack's alpha so Dust could be leader. Venusflower didn't want to kill someone, but the alpha of the Sun Pack was terrible. They'd be doing the packs a favor, right? Venusflower slipped a herb to make the Alpha tired in his food, and after Alpha ate it, Dust challenged Alpha for leadership of the Sun Pack. They fought, and because the Alpha was quite old and the herb put into his food, he lost. Dust drove him and his heir, Lupus, away. Dust then became the Alpha, and him and Venusflower could finally be mates. They were for a while, and had a pup together. But when Venusflower saw him getting as power-hungry as his father, the last alpha, she fled.
