Backstory: Opal was born in a pack of Lycanroc, the Sun Pack. Ever since she was a pup, she had a strong connection to spirits. She made friends after a large fire burnt down their forest, a Zorua named Bloodmane. She traveled with him to her packs new territory. They met in secret, and sometimes Bloodmane transformed into other Pokemon to sneak into the pack camp. Opal was always loyal to the pack leader, but when Bracken became the leader and forced them to kill an innocent Arcanine, she obeyed, yet had enough of the pack. So she snuck away from the pack territory, though she didn't tell Bloodmane or her packmates. Luckily for her, she found a trainer's bag abandoned and sensed it would be helpful. She took it with her to store her stuff. One day while traveling, she was tired and about to pass out, she made it across an Umbreon. He was strange, to say the least. The Umbreon, Full Moon, knew who she was, and directed her to a house in the woods. She was hesitant in trusting him, but he DID know who she was and she had a strange feeling telling her to trust him. She went to the house, and instead of a human, a Dragonair lived there. She stayed with the Dragonair, Sapphire, until one morning. Full Moon appeared again and told her she had to get going. She obeyed, though not after saying goodbye to Sapphire. She didn't get far before she suddenly saw her former alpha, Bracken. She was overjoyed to see a familiar face and ran towards him, but the image of Bracken she saw was actually Bloodmane in a disguise. Much to her dismay, Bloodmane attacked her, angry that she left without telling him. She fled, and made it back to Sapphire's house. Sapphire let her in, but before Opal could explain what happened, there was a knock on the door. Sapphire answered it, and it was Sapphire's lost son, Sky.Sea. Unfortunately for her, it actually was Bloodmane in disguise. Bloodmane killed Sapphire, with Opal as his next intended target. Opal escaped by crashing through a window. She fled, although injured from the glass.
