INDIANA JONES

PRESENT
STORYBROOKE
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL is going on!?" Indiana Jones demanded as she reunited with Snow White at the hospital.
Ambulances covered the entrances and indistinct conversations filled the air. There were people laying on gurneys as they were rolled into the hospital in the direction of the surgical wing. There was a random pedestrian Indiana had never seen before. The doctors claimed that it was a car accident, but that didn't explain anything to Indiana.
The one night Indiana and Henry Mills were going to have a relaxing night at home, everything seemed to hit the fan. Emma, Snow, and Charming had rushed off to the town line where there was some kind of accident. There wasn't anything that could be said to Indiana since they didn't want to scare Henry. Therefore, Indiana put Henry to bed and practically sprinted to the hospital to find out what was going on.
Indiana glanced down at the next victim, recognizing his face almost immediately. "Killian?" she whispered, watching the gurney get rolled past her. "Killian!" Indiana started to follow them, but a nurse stopped her.
"Sorry, ma'am, we can't allow you to follow them," the nurse told her.
"I don't give a damn!" Indiana shouted at her. "What's going on?"
"Ma'am, there's been an accident. I can't reveal anything to anyone that isn't family," the nurse told her, attempting to calm Indiana down.
"I'm his sister! That's my idiot of a brother!" Indiana told her, pointing at the unconscious Killian Jones. "What's—?"
Someone placing their hands on Indiana's shoulders interrupted her. She spun around to see Red. "Hey, it's going to be okay," Red assured her as Indiana squirmed under her hold until she realized who it was. "I'll tell you everything you want to know, but right now, you need to calm down."
Nodding, she snapped her head over to Charming, who shouted, "Get him out of here!" She noticed David holding back Rumplestiltskin.
"No, what's happening? Belle!" Rumplestiltskin exclaimed.
"I'd like to know that myself," Leroy mumbled.
"Belle! Belle!" Rumplestiltskin continued to shout as Snow joined Red and Indiana.
"Everybody, calm down," a new, much more relaxed voice projected to the people of Storybrooke. Dr. Whale had appeared on the scene. He looked over at Rumplestiltskin. "Mr. Gold, everything will be fine. She's in good hands here. I promise."
It was then explained to Indiana Jones that her brother had shot Belle, causing her to fall over the town line and lose her memories. Indiana assumed she and Rumplestiltskin were at the town line because of his unknown plan to relocate his son, Baelfire. After shooting Belle, Killian was hit by a car that belonged to someone who had intentions of visiting Storybrooke.
After her brother was stabilized, Indiana would be found waiting just outside his hospital room while Emma interrogated him. When she left, she turned to Indiana and said, "He's all yours. Just try not to rip his throat out."
Indiana smiled at her. "No promises," she joked before walking in. He peered over at her as she narrowed her eyes at him. "You're an idiot."
"Ah, a pleasure to see you as always, baby sister," Killian greeted tiredly, observing as she strolled over and sat on his hospital bed. "To what do I owe this delightful visit?"
"You're awfully chipper for someone who just failed to kill an Alligator, then got hit by a car," Indiana mentioned.
He smiled at her sarcastically. "Alligator?" he repeated. "Hm, I prefer Crocodile."
Indiana rolled her eyes. "What exactly were you trying to achieve? I mean, I busted my ass just to get the Dark One to not rip your stupid heart out, and this is how you go about it afterward?" Indiana queried.
"You know, that's not what I recall you calling my heart," Killian admitted. "Rotten, I believe was the term you used." Indiana rolled her eyes.
"You know, I was feeling rather nice for once," Indiana began to say. "Maybe a bit generous. I even had a gift for you." She held up her hand, revealing a shiny hook hanging off of her fingers. Killian's eyes widened as he attempted to move his hand to grab it. However, it was handcuffed. "But I think I changed my mind."
"Devious, as always," Killian commented light-heartedly.
"Psychotic is the term I'd prefer," Indiana declared, flashing a charming grin at him. "I'll visit soon. Do me a favor and try to be less of a dumbass."
Then, she turned to walk out of the room.
"No promises," Killian called out, making Indiana stop. She chuckled to herself and left the room.
When Indiana walked back to the main lobby, Snow White was arguing with Red, Grumpy, and Charming. She exclaimed, "You can't guess! There are a million possible combinations."
"10,000," Red corrected as Indiana stepped over to them. From the looks of it, they were trying to break into someone's phone.
"10,000," Snow repeated.
"Oh, Indiana! Can you get it open or something? Hack it? You're a child genius, right?" David queried, handing her the phone.
"David, you do understand that breaking into places and breaking into a phone are two different things," Indiana told him. "Who's phone is this?"
"The guy who hit Hook," David told her as Emma walked over and took the phone.
"Here, let me try. I have a thing," Emma revealed. "And we do know something. There was stuff in his car—rental agreement, maps, receipts. His name's Greg Mendell."
"Sounds like a stupid name," Indiana mumbled. "Stupid people can't possibly try to reveal that a bunch of fairytale characters live in the real world, right?"
"Now, let's see..." Emma trailed off as they got into the phone. "Pictures of him alone at a bunch of Eastern Seaboard Tourist locations... A LinkedIn account... and he tweets pictures of his food. I'll keep looking, but I think what we have here is a well-documented, real life ordinary Joe. Or Greg."
"So whatever's kept random people from stumbling into Storybrooke for the last 28 years..." Red trailed off.
"It's gone," Snow confirmed.
"Anyone could drive in," David added. "Why are my instincts telling me that's a really bad thing?"
"Cause you've seen E.T or Splash or any other movie where they find something magical and study it to death," Grumpy pointed out. "Think what'd they do to a werewolf."
Red shot him a look as Snow said, "Oh, and his friends and family? They're going to come looking for him soon."
"Let's try not to overreact," Emma told them.
"No, Grumpy's right," Indiana told her. "We don't need outsiders here."
"Hook says he doesn't know where Cora is, and God knows what she's gonna do," Emma continued. "With other people coming here, that's not gonna be good for anyone."
"We need to find Regina, tell her we know she was framed," Snow said.
"I've been tracking her. No luck," Red declared informatively. "She's gone underground."
"But what if Cora finds her first? I don't want to think about the damage those two would do together," Indiana wondered.
"She's right. This could not have come at a worse time," Snow agreed.
"It's okay," Emma reassured them. "The guy's being patched up right now. He'll probably be on his way home by morning."
"Not quite," Dr. Whale suddenly told them. Everyone turned to see him as he strolled over to them. "He's bleeding into his chest cavity. It's not a full flood, you know, but pretty soon he'll be drowning in his own blood."
"So make it stop. Aren't you a doctor?" Emma demanded.
Suddenly, Doctor Whale paused and walked toward the stairs where Rumplestiltskin was. "Gold. You fixed me. Now, fix him," he demanded. "It will take you seconds and cost you nothing."
Rumplestiltskin paused before saying, "No."
"No?" Whale repeated. "Just... no?"
"I owe you nothing, Whale," Rumplestiltskin snapped. "I owe none of you anything, and some of you owe me."
He avoided eye contact with Indiana, knowing very well that he owed her after she came back to the Enchanted Forest with Pandora's Box.
"So, yeah, just... no. And, and point of interest—the Driver? He saw me throwing some magic. So instead of trying to get him out of here, you better be hoping he dies, because if he doesn't, he's gonna be driving tour buses up and down main street." Everyone looked around at each other nervously. "So glad I don't give a damn."
Rumplestiltskin, then, walked off. Doctor Whale looked back at the others. "Look, letting him die is easy," he revealed after sighing. "I can do that, if that's what you decide."
"Let's take this somewhere private," Emma whispered.
After leading them into a quiet and empty room, Doctor Whale continued to speak. "It's not really murder if we let him succumb to his injuries," he explained.
"I'm pretty sure it is," Emma mumbled.
"Of course we save him!" Snow exclaimed at the same time as Indiana said, "Of course we should let him die."
"Indiana!"
"Actually, I agree with her," Grumpy admitted.
"Leroy!"
"Look, we have to think this through," Grumpy told them. "If we save him and kill the whole town, is that really better?"
"So we have to choose between our lives and his," Red summarized, holding Indiana's hand tightly.
"I might not value a lot of things," Indiana started. "But if there's one thing that is important to me, it's keeping my life."
"We can worry about the town later," David said.
"Which doesn't mean we should abandon him," Snow lowly stated.
"I know, but let's worry about Storybrooke after we save a life," David declared. He turned to the doctor. "Doctor Whale, prep for surgery."
Without another word, the Doctor left the room and Indiana finally spoke out again. "Anyone else notice he's drunk off his ass?" she wondered.
Suddenly, the Star Wars theme song played throughout the room. They all looked down at the cell phone in Emma Swan's hand. Emma looked down at it. "Someone's looking for Greg," Emma realized. "How long before they come here?"

Hours passed and the same person still continued to call Greg Mendell's phone. The person was identified as 'Her' on his phone. While the others debated on what to do about the caller and Greg Mendell, a nurse walking into the room caught their attention as he immediately turned back around.
"W-W-Whoa. Wait. Wait. Any news?" David called out.
"No. I was just looking for the Doctor," the nurse explained.
"He's not in the O.R?" Red demanded in shock.
"He never came in," the Nurse confirmed.
"Then page him!" Indiana snapped. The nurse nodded his head quickly and walked over to a phone on the wall, pressing some buttons.
"He wasn't looking so good earlier," David commented to the others.
The sound of a pager started to go off. "He's here?" Snow asked as Emma walked over to the bin of hospital clothes. She picked up Doctor Whale's coat, pulling out his pager.
"No, but his pager is," Emma answered with furrowed eyebrows. "He's gone."
Handing over the coat to Red, the werewolf sniffed it a few times. She crinkled up her nose in disgust as she started to walk in attempt to track the missing Doctor. "Got the scent?" David wondered.
"Boozy," Red confirmed.
"Just find him and bring him back," Emma told her. "We'll watch Hook and figure out options if Whale doesn't come back."
"Maybe Doc can do it," Snow suggested.
Indiana snorted while Grumpy began to laugh. "Surgery?" Grumpy chuckled. His face suddenly dropped. "No!"
"Maybe he didn't even run!" Snow offered. "Maybe Cora grabbed him for some reason."
"I don't think so," David admitted. "He's been in a rough place since he brought Regina's fiancé back to life."
"Daniel?" Snow asked in surprise.
"Back to life!?" Emma repeated in disbelief.
"And had his arm ripped off and put back on," David continued to casually mention.
"And you didn't think it'd be important to tell us he's bringing Frankenstein right out of the stories?" Indiana queried in shock.
"Wait. Daniel came back?" Snow repeated again.
"Like some kind of Frankenstein?" Indiana asked.
"That's Whale. The Doctor," David confirmed. "And Daniel was his—"
"What went on here while we were gone?" Snow White demanded. David shook his head and sighed.
Indiana turned to Red. "Red, get going. Bring back... Dr. Frankenstein," she told her.
"You're really having fun with this whole Frankenstein thing, aren't you?" Red wondered.
"You have no idea," Indiana joked.
Emma sighed. "We're gonna send this guy back home with bolts in his neck," she muttered.
"Sounds badass if you asked me," Indiana mumbled.

After discovering where Doctor Whale had run off to, he immediately went to surgery to reveal that Greg Mendell would be just fine. Emma had finally returned from interrogating him and making him believe that Storybrooke was just a normal town.
"He didn't see nothin'?" Grumpy asked Emma.
"Free and clear," Emma declared.
Snow let out a sigh of pure relief. "Oh, good," she commented.
"Now, maybe things can calm down for ten minutes," David added. "And we can catch our breath."
Soon enough, they all returned back home to turn in for the night. Well, everyone wanted to sleep, except Henry Mills.
"You were out all night. Where were you?" Henry asked, running down the stairs. "Granny wouldn't tell me anything. Did I miss it all?"
"I thought I told you to go to bed," Indiana told him as she fell onto the couch.
"Cereal okay?" David asked. Emma nodded.
"Rumplestiltskin and my damned brother had a fight, and someone got hurt," Indiana summarized. "We weren't sure if Doctor Frankenstein could fix him, but he did."
"Doctor?" Henry repeated. "Oh. That's who Whale is."
"Yeah, but without the neck bolts," Emma mentioned.
"The monster had the bolts, not the Doctor," Henry pointed out.
"Right, but either way, some of us having known him... it's weird," Emma commented.
"It's not weird. We're past it. We were cursed," Snow declared.
"What are you talking about?" Henry wondered.
"Nothing," David said as he handed Emma and Henry a bowl of cereal.
"Wait..." Henry trailed off as a thought popped into his head.
"Really, it's nothing," Snow assured him.
"Ah-ah!" David exclaimed as Henry rushed over to grab his storybook.
"Frankenstein isn't in here," Henry realized, coming back with the book. "It's not even a fairytale. That means it comes from another land with different stories."
He lowered his voice so that Indiana couldn't hear what he was about to say next.
"Maybe that's why there's nothing about Neverland in here, excluding Indiana's story."
With a mouth full of cereal, Emma told him, "Eat. I really wanna go to bed."
"If the curse went to places with other stories," Emma hit her head twice on the counter, "then who knows who else is in this town?"
A knock on the door was heard before Rumplestiltskin strolled in. "I don't wanna pick up my head," Indiana muttered with her face down as she sprawled her legs across the couch. "Who is it?"
"Gold," Emma breathed. "We've all had a long night."
"You remember that favor you owe me, Miss Swan?" Rumplestiltskin wondered. "I'm cashing it in."
"It's... not a good..." Emma trailed off as David joined his daughter. Indiana sat up on the couch, rubbing the back of her head.
"You do honor your agreements, don't you?" Rumplestiltskin queried. Henry and Indiana walked over to where Emma and David stood. "I need to find someone, so we're leaving today. Pack your bag."
"Leaving?" Snow repeated, walking toward them with a cup of tea in her hands.
"Where?" Henry asked.
"Wait. Find someone? Who?" Indiana demanded, having an idea of who it could be. "You don't mean...?"
"Yes. My son," Rumplestiltskin confirmed. "It has to be today because every minute I'm here, is a minute closer to me killing your dear, old brother. So it's really best for all concerned if I leave, and you're gonna come with me. Oh, and um, we have a long history, so know this and know it to be true. If any harm comes to Belle while I'm gone, I'm killing all of you."
"Try touching Henry and I—well, you know," Indiana snarled as Emma grabbed Henry.
Rumplestiltskin ignored her and told Emma, "I'll see you at noon."
