The road beckons to all, age is no matter. journey is the meaning of life and fun, start and end are just stops in-between. Let us begin our walk of choices, it will be fruitful wherever we go with our hearts content.

          Regular folk think of us as hooligans, idiots taking risks, danger loving people, reckless, and much more. That frankly isn't the case. We riders are not all of those, we do love a spot of adrenaline and sometimes mildly hooliganesque but this shouldn't brand us as the bad people. Just because most would rather not do it doesn't give them any ground whatsoever.

          A part of the whole reason of "Why we ride" is basic commute. To get from one location to the next, where the commute time is lower and economic to the pocket as well. To zig zag through traffic, lane-split, and bypass most of the traffic jams. The ease of being on two wheels and nimble enough to squeeze through quite easily is a boon. Most people have to commute through varying conditions where its easier to just grab ur bike and complete the journey.

          The fun reason of why we ride is for the adrenaline rush. Its one of the quickest and one of the easiest means of getting a natural high. Gun the throttle through the rev band till you redline, then shifting up the gears is a bliss. Empty smooth stretches of road are basically porn to riders, we salivate, hyperventilate, and the childish brain just lets us have fun. Zig zagging and lane-splitting through traffic as efficiently and without risk even at low speeds will send us spiking. Increase the speed and the risk will increase proportionately but when done successfully, this will just make our day. Drag racing in-between signals on empty roads even thou within the speed limits is frowned upon by regular folk, but we relish it and tend to do it as frequently as possible, just for the fun of it. Let me let you into a little secret, the drag racing bit doesn't always requires many people, it can and will definitely be done alone to get that kick.

          The big reason of why we ride is an understated and under empathised is to spread happiness. Be it making a kid in the neighbouring car smile, maybe be a role model for them to look up to, we may be strangers but we are kind. We do kind deeds while driving like helping a stuck vehicle, making way and cutting through traffic to let an ambulance pass, making someone smile, giving way for others, and overall being a generous and well natured being without the hope of receiving gratitude. The day we get gratitude for something we did while on the road, be it a thumbs up, a greeting, or just something as simple as a smile, will make the riders day and in-turn motivate us to do more. All of this is about sharing happiness and fun.

          Imagine you are riding on the highway and you pull up next to a car filled with kids. I personally would sign them to lower their windows, drop down a gear or two and just let them hear me roar away into a symphony of sound. it gave me the adrenaline and the guaranteed joy on the kid's face, and knowing that the kids will be ear to ear with the biggest grin on his face. Imagining himself growing up and riding and if he does do it in the future he will remember to make others happy. Even if we get unreasonably little time to ourself and have to be there for someone we will go to hell and back to be there on time for the ones we love and its easier to do it compared to a car and we both will get what we want, happiness. We will accept some risk and be in a state of not needing our mirrors because we know we will be ahead of everything, but we will not fail our promise.

          People think riders are immature, rash, fast, and overall a risk to them but I disagree. Yes there are a few black sheep amongst us but that number is falling day by day. The squids are turning into canyon carvers and the tee shirt riders and turning into armoured knights. We take pride in riding and spreading our passion with new people, riding brings together people from every corner of the world. We are one big family striving towards a planet with smiles and younglings with amazing aspirations. We don't have any personal agenda's. its integrity, bravery, and the nature fo sharing that we want to incorporate into everyone's life and be the lucky ones to introduce it to new people.

          You can be a noob on a cycle with training wheels and you can walk up to any rider you look upto and just talk to them. you will be surprised to feel such warmth and gentleness with which you are introduced to, we all strive to teach those who have no knowledge and help in which ever way we can. anybody can join this field and you wont be disappointed.
