"Hi .....I'm Paru .....a new resident to this mansion..... it's a pleasure to meet you!" She forwarded her hand for a handshake.

Resident??

Paru adjusted her glasses and checked herself to be just sure since she found the two of them observing her carefully.

".Well, sir said that I'll be required for atleast 2 years!!".

" Two years?.....not forever??". Reena questioned.

" Mam , though I have no right to comment about this place, I have not become a doctor only to serve a single patient for my whole life!!".

" A doctor?....here ?".

Reena questioned more , still unsure.

" Yes . I have benefited from sir's new scheme for my education loan . But since I insisted, sir offered me to take care of his pregnant wife and also assist about child care !".

Only then paru noticed the slight bump that was visible in Reena's loosely wrapped saree and cursed her tongue.

" I'm so sorry mam. All these happened so fast that I forgot to get the basic information , please do forget that we ever met , let's start afresh,

I'm Dr. Paru Walia, your gynaecologist. I have also worked as an assistant for a pediatrician, so you don't have to worry!!".

Reena felt as if she had a huge burden had gone off her heard once she heard those words.

She was a doctor.... brought to kgf especially for me !!

" Ma I want to see Rocky!!". Shanthamma nodded and smiled.

Reena saw Ravi approaching them to check the arrangements and went towards him, while Shanthamma talked with Paru.

" Beta , though I want you to give your first priority to Reena, there is also few women under gestation period, so will you be able to look after them too ?".

" Yes , sure mam, I'll love too !!".

Paru smiled and held shanthamma's palms and assured her .

While on the other hand,

" Ravi , where is your Sultan?".

Ravi was truly shocked Reena calling for his hiss with a smile. As the days of her stay in the mansion increased, he was aware that her relationship with his Sultan is something more than that of an old acquaintance but he didn't wanted to confront it to him.

" I'm not sure mam, sir informed that he would be visiting the mines after the meeting!!".

" Okay then ask him to meet me once he is free!!".

" Is there any particular reason??". He enquired.

" Not , just say him that I wanted to meet him !".

Reena smiled and returned back while Ravi was shocked seeing her smile for the first time, and that too while talking about their Sultan.

" Mam, should we move to the  room!"

" Sure , let me just have a minute!!"

Reena went to her room and gathered all her previous reports and medicines that she had taken till now and placed them in the bed .

Once the room was ready, she checked herself by the mirror and adjusted her saree. Her eyes fell on her mangalsutra, and she decided to wear it out.

Few staff from the mansion approached her after few minutes, with their hands occupied with the instruments .

She saw Paru and shanthamma walking towards her and joined them.

" Walk slowly Reena!....." shanthamma assured her.

" Doctor says that it's better to do the ultrasound as early as possible!!..."

" Sure ma, I just asked for Rocky, but he seems to be busy!!".

" Okay beta , should we need to wait for him ?".

Reena was unsure of what to say while her eyes searches for Rocky as she kept gazing at the door.

" No ma, this is very important, we'll do it now !!".

Paru explained the whole procedure to both of them and git Reena ready for the scan.

Soon the staff were asked to wait out while Reena laid on her back her hand clasping shanthamma's as she was nervous while the scan was being taken.

Once she felt comfortable, Paru started the procedure with shanthamma present near her .

Reena refused to look at the screen, while Shanthamma kept insisting her , but she was so afraid to lift her eyes to see.

But suddenly she felt a different hold on her palm and opened her eyes with joy to see him with a smile on his face.

" It's a chance of the privileged, don't regret it !....".

" Rocky?".

Rocky turned to her with a smile while he kissed her knuckles. He went on his knees and looked the screen along with her while Reena turned red in embarrassment.

Dr Paru checked the improvement of the baby and also showed the baby to both of them.

" Doctor are you sure that it's a baby?....it doesn't look like one !.... maybe it's the chicken chinna aet last week!!".

" Don't embarrass me Rocky!.....and it was your child that made me crave for it !!". Reena defended.

" I don't think so chinna, my child won't know such expensive dishes, maybe it's from your gene!!".

" Don't blame my baby!!". Reena fumed in anger.

" But it doesn't look like one!!....it looks like a lemon and nothing more.....so just to be sure, you didn't swallow a whole lemon right!!".

" Maa ,see how your son is teasing me !!". She complained.

" Yes Raja , stop this !....". Shanthamma continued, trying her best to control her laughter.

" Sir , it will surely take some time for the baby to grow. And considering the facts, the baby is healthy along with the mother!!". Paru explained unsure of what else to say between their conversation.

" Doctor, but please make sure that she puts up some weight, she's too thin to carry my baby !!".

" Did you just call me weak ?".Reena hoffed in anger .

" I did not!.....I just noticed that you didn't put on weight like I heard people say !!".

".And I'm doing just fine.....I don't need anybody's concern!!". Reena turned around and folded her arms.

" If you say so chinna !!".

" Are they always like this ?". Paru asked shanthamma, doubtfully.

" Yes , it can go even worse if we stay here for more!!". Replied shanthamma chuckling, seeing them fight like kids when they are going to be parents soon.

" Okay sir and mam, I have some questions to ask and then we'll conclude!!".

Rocky and Reena nodded and complied with her.

Dr Paru checked the improvement of the baby and made some changes in her diet plan .

Once the scan was taken shanthamma went along with paru to discuss Reena's diet and condition while Reena and Rocky were alone.

Reena felt her hormone being stable and realised that she had behaved in a childish manner and decided to finally thank him.

"Rocky!"

She called for him.

"thank you so much, I was so wrong about you ....and I thought that you wouldn't accept our baby."

" I'm sorry that my actions have made you think like that chinna...but I'm really happy that I got to share my life with you !....and thank you so much for giving me such happiness!!".

Rocky moved forward causing their forehead to touch, while Reena kept nuzzling in his hold.

" Let's get you back to the room."

Reena nodded, but to her surprise Rocky pulled her towards him and lifted her in his arms .

Rocky walked towards Reena's chamber while Reena held her head low on his chest trying to hide from everyone .

" Rocky, leave me , someone will watch us !!".

" That's not my problem!...if we had  announced the pregnancy you don't have to worry about it !!".

' hmmm" Reena winned in reply.

Rocky chuckled seeing her reaction and finally laid her on the bed carefully.

" And now it's nap time!!".

" Don't treat me like a kid too Rocky!!".

" But you won't understand unless I do this !!". He replied as he covered her by the duvets .

" That's not fair!!".

" Everything is fair in love chinna!!". Rocky kissed her forehead and winked!

THE NEXT DAY

" Mam, we have rescheduled your daily routine, and so now you'll have to add more proteins to your diet from now on !!".

" Then what about the suppliments?".

" That's for extra vitamins mam. It's always better to maintain a proper diet than being dependent on supplements!!".

Reena too agreed with her point and checked the plan while the breakfast was being served.

Shanthamma came to the dining room to meet Reena once she had gone to the temple.

She came with the prashad and blessed Reena. Only then she noticed the similarity and realised that it was from Desai Mansi.

As she saw Reena moving to eat them , she stopped her immediately.

".You can't eat this beta !!". She protested.

"Mam , I'm sorry but she needs to have this proper diet" . Paru insisted.

" I know beti that you think well , but this food is poisoned!".

" This food is prepared along with a poisonous ingredient!....and thank God that I reached on time !!".

"Poison?"

"Yes , I was send along with this when I came from the Desai.

"But who would do such a thing?".

"I'm sorry to say Reena beta , but it was your father!...

" Dad -"

" When your father had announced everyone in Desai mansion about your absence, he also asked for a volunteer among the staff, who would be send to kgf to work for them and kill Rocky!!".

" Not bad ma , sasurji truly thinks of me more than I had expected.....but he still has those old outdated ideas which will not help him !".

" Rocky, don't joke around about this !!".

" Yes Rocky!..... dad's motive to kill Garuda was of business....but why would he try to kill you when he is well aware that you are his son in law!!.....but I guess dad never changed!!".

" What do you mean by that Reena?.....he never changed?". Reena was puzzled seeing the sudden shift in Rocky's tone.

" Well, people expected that being his only daughter has many benefits. But to be frank, he never treated me as a daughter in the first place. I always felt that I was being owned by him , acting by the rules imposed to me , from the food to the dress and to how I behave, everything was reported to him .

To sum it up , I've always felt like a prisoner in my own house. And once I've grown up, he had brought so many proposals, as if he was in a hurry to get me married.

I just thought that he felt unsafe and insecure after my mother's death and complied to his wishes!!".

" So I was the prince charming that had brought you from the hell !". Rocky teased.

" Not true.....it was as if I was rediscovering myself when I was with you......to a place where I finally belong!!".

" Wow, so romantic chinna!.....I guess that you are reading more novels than usual !!".

" But Rocky, I want I promise from you!!...if in a unfortunate circumstances, where I could only see my father from the very last time, will you let me go ?".

" Beta , is that something you need to ask?".

" Ma, I know that he is not a good man, but he is all the family I've got !...so Rocky?". Reena turned to Rocky who seemed to be lost in his thoughts.

" I will, !".

Rocky saw Reena turned emotional, with her eyes swelling up , he immediately thought of something to distract her.

" By the way chinna, I have also brought a writer to write out love story!!".

" Writer?".

" Yes , he seemed to be so much interested.....and what was his name??....."

" Interested in kgf ?.....is it journalist Anand ingalgi ??".

" Yes !.... don't worry, he is in safe hands!!" .

While in an unknown warehouse,

All the partners of kgf gathered except Rajendra Desai to plot against Rocky.

".The plan has failed but we can't just stop ". Andrews mentioned.

They were very sure that Rocky would definitely bring Reena out of kgf but when the spies had informed the arrival of a new doctor in kgf , they realised that they were too late, and Rocky had outsmarted them again.

" Yes we have to kill him before it's too late .". Guru pandiyan agreed.

" But how?.....and where is Desai sir !". Questioned Daya .

" Yes there is a reason we have gathered without him.". Andrews smirked and started to explain his plan to others.

I like this plan , we can go forward with this !!". Guru pandiyan accepted and went out , while the others discussed how to enact their plan.

In kgf ,

At night Vaanaram reached the mansion after he finished the training sessions. The guards informed him about the new arrival of a doctor in kgf .

They also mentioned about the possibility of a new hospital in the near future.

And finally the rumour which have started to spread from the household staff for the past few days.

" Sir , the household are gossiping that someone might be pregnant!

" They say that it's either madam or her friend, who had arrived!!"

" It's just a rumor, why are you giving it such importance??". He questioned to the guards.

" Sir , when we investigated , it was true that there has been slight changes in the menu and schedule or work, nit to mention that all the foods and fruits from the city that are often craved by pregnant women!

" Sir , and Sultan have  also posted few guards to attend Miss Reena during her morning and evening walk along the garden!!".

" So you are doubting that she is the one who is pregnant??".

" Yes sir , we just wanted to inform our observations, nothing more !!".

" Okay, I'll take it from here !....you don't have to investigate further from this.!!".

Vaanaram walked towards Rocky's chamber while he was lost in his own thoughts. He can't say that he dislike Rocky, but him involving with Reena , who is now the only heir to kgf didn't please him.

Though he might have hated Garuda for his ruthless nature, he can't break his promise of protecting Reena .

As he reached the chamber, he was shocked to find it empty, but as he looked around he found that the light was still on in Reena's room, and looked by the door.

He passed through the windows and found them together. Rocky was seen kissing her forehead and then switched off the lights.

Seeing the moment, Vanaraam realised that there is more to this relationship.

" Vaanaram, why are you here at this time!!".

" I wanted to meet you Sultan!".

" It's almost time to sleep, we'll discuss the issue in the mines!!". Rocky replied as he closed the door and walked towards his room.

" It's very important Sultan.....and it's about Reena !".

" Reena , what about her ?".

" The papers you were searching is part of Suryavardhan's will.....and you can achieve th only through Reena!".

" What do you mean?.....why Reena?".

" Because Reena is also an heir to kgf !".

" What about Sandhya?.... wasn't she his daughter?".

" No , she is actually Rajendra Desai's daughter, and they were swapped when they were young!".

" Does Reena know about this ?".

" No one knows except the Suryavardhan family and myself. But if you try to harm her , you'll have to kill me before it . Though I may serve you now , I had promised that I would always protect her ."

" Don't worry, I have no such intention!".

" And also, I have been informed that you spent more time with her , so -"

" You wanted to know about our relationship, isn't that what you wanted to ask ?".

" Yes !".

" She is my legal wife..... probably the only right thing Rajendra Desai did was getting us married!".

" Will you still love her like before?".

" That's not what you want to worry about!.....but since you are so concerned, I wanted to share this news.....Reena is pregnant...!".

" That's a wonderful news , sir would be so happy, if he is not in such a state!".

" But I don't think he'll accept his jamai though !.....and do promise me to not share this information with anyone else!".

" Yes Sultan!".

The next day

" Madam, the designer have arrived with the new collection!!". One of the  staff informed Reena, who was walking along with shanthamma in the garden.

" Okay, send them to my room!!".

" Ma , let's go !".

" But beta, I don't need them !".

" Ma, I had asked them especially for you !....you have always worn these sarees, you need to change to the new trend!!".

Reena took her and reached her room, where the designer was waiting for them.

As she kept going through the new collection, Reena felt bored and decided to switch on the television only to receive a shock.

"Well known Industrialist Rajendra Desai have been spotted dead near one of his warehouses outside the city

The police have found that he was murdered an-"

" Ma, I need to see Rocky!". Reena cried as her knees gave up.

" There's no need for that !"
