Back in Paali,

"We have to decide something soon before the situation goes out of our hands." Said Guru Pandian, after analysing the sudden changes of events.

"Yes , and now he holds my daughter hostage!!". Screamed Rajendra Desai.

"You can't blame that on us Rajender!.... you were the one who got him married to your daughter, so what's wrong with him wanting her now ??".

"Don't talk like that !!....if it was your daughter in her place situation!...only then you can understand my thoughts"

"Chill uncle......if my calculations are right....I believe there must be other motives behind his plan "replied Kamal recalling the recent changes he saw in Reena.

"Anyway I have planned to kill Rocky through poison which will be send to kgf mansion along with her belongings and also a staff to attend.

"But are you sure that he won't suspect it ?"

"That's a good question!....and that's why I'm going to mix it with the spices.... they'll be checking the staff and others and won't think about it."

"Then call us when the job is done.... until then we'll keep looking for the papers atleast for our sake ."

At kgf mansion,

( Rocky brought Reena to kgf from Paali through the night, so they arrived at the mansion by morning only, so all thses events takes place at the same time 😅)

Sandhya took Reena to the balcony as she informed reena about her dad's current condition.

" So , did you patch up with jiju??".

Jiju??

" Jiju?....when did you start calling him that ??".

" Let's talk about that later, now say it !...did you guys work out the difference??".

" You are asking me that when you know the man I've married!!....all he has done just made be realise what kind of a blunder I had done !!".

" Come on Ree!....it can't be worse !!.... he's been nice to me from the time I came back !!...."

"Nice , huh ??"

Yes , if he wanted to impress you , he needs to play the good guy card !!

" Well,....what did you do??". Sandhya continued.

" What I did?.....you should ask me what he did first!!.... that guy had the nerve to decorate his room like he wanted to sleep with me!!

" But....maybe  the decorations were meant to be as a way of saying that he wants you back??".

Reena just glared back at her friend in return, not buying the excuse.

" Don't give me that look ree !!".

" And buying me  clothes??.... it's like the next thing he would do is take me with him all the time ,  keeping me dolled up for him !!".

" Okay okay!.....calm down....so decorations bad idea!....but did you like the lehenga,...they were branded ones !!".

" Wait a minute, how did you know all this ??.....were you -"

" No ree!....I received some from the same brand too !!".

" Oh !!...I didn't know!!".

Sandhya thanked her mind for the quick thinking, since she was about to blurt out her involvement in Rocky's plans to get them together. But the continuous stare of her friend conveyed that she didn't believe her yet .

" Plus, he shared some of his plans to me !.... that's how I know!!.... wanted to know about your likes and dislikes!".

Oh!...so that's how he is going to play... manipulating her as if he is trying to be with me , so she is unaware.

Their conversation was soon broken when they heard the of the children as they ran through the corridors of the mansion.

Reena and Sandhya descended the stairs and found the kids still moving around.

Puzzled with their over excited behaviour, she held the wrist of a boy and asked him .

" why are you all running here !!".

" Didi!!.... there is a new car arriving in the entrance!!". replied the boy.

" Yes , people say that it's from Bangalore!!.."replied another and went towards the entrance.

Bangalore??.....I guess they have sende the things I wanted here !!

But why did he send it too soon?.....he doesn't want me back??

"Sandhya, I have some things to take care!!... don't wait for me !...I'll meet you later!!"

"Okay ree!....I'll be in my room!!"

Reena marched towards the entrance in anger , as she recalled how she was not in good terms with her father and his threats for being with Rocky.

Though she didn't find any difference being in this mansion considering that her father too treated as if she was being imprisoned.

But the most important point was she hated being the hostage. Treating her like a pawn in their games. And also she missed her  garden and especially shanthi ma, who only knows about her pregnancy.

Only with her she could be able to manage through her pregnancy with ease.

As she came closer, she was able to hear their conversation.

" Sorry mam, we can't allow you inside.....we are asked to check you and the things thoroughly".

" But beta !....these are just groceries!!".

" Sorry ma, but can you please come aside, we are asked to check you too !!".

" Me ?....but why ?"

The staff, thoroughly irritated with the new work, was about to hold shanthamma's wrist, but Reena's words stopped her action midway.

"Don't you dare take a step towards her "

The guards feared her as Reena approached them, and bowed their heads as a gesture of respect.

"We're sorry madam!!...but sir just asked us to check her !!".

Reena's eyes fell on shanthamma, as she held her hand ,  with her eyes ready to spill tears.

" Reena beta !....you are okay??".

" I'm fine ma !!...". Reena nodded and composed herself and looked at the people.

" What do these people know ?.....it must be one of the orders of their foolish Sultan!!.... let's go from here!!".

She turned to the staff who were still amazed by how she spoke about their Sultan without any fear.

" You can check  all the things however you want!!.....but tell your Sultan not to get involved in my life!!... understood??".

"Ma , let's go to my room!!". Reena held shanthamma's wrist and walked her towards her chamber.

As they walked shanthi couldn't help but notice how all the people they saw in their way seemed to fear Reena and hid themselves behind the pillars as they saw her.

But she won't judge them, for she knows about her well. The cold she possesses is just for her own safety, as showing her true nature might make her vulnerable.

Once they were the door, the guards opened the door for them and left the chamber.

She also saw few staff moving out of the room in a hurry as they walked passed them.

But she was shocked to see how the room was which seems to be decorated.

All the negative thoughts she has before rushed into her mind, as she realised that Reena had spent the night here and seeing the of the bed, she couldn't help but wonder whether the man forced Reena.

She has heard so much about the recent of kgf and how it was known to be hell , and the Sultan kidnapping Reena

"Beta this..-"

And the decorations intrigued her, not giving her a perfect answer..

Is that why  Reena was brought here??...

Reena observed her expression and confronted her before shw could make any awkward assumptions.

"This is my husband's work.....!!".

Raja ?

" Husband??.....he is here ??".

"Yes ma....I guess I forgot to mention that my husband is still well and more than good.

And he is now the Sultan of kgf!!..... pretty impressive huh ??

I think all our prayers have paid off "

" But beta, isn't that what you wanted??.....is something wrong??".

" Ma, I did pray for his well being everyday as his wife .....but when he demands the very right,of me being his wife , how can I be happy ma ??

Do you know why he has brought me here ??..... because of his  greed!!....his money has blinded his love!.....now I'm rethinking whether he actually loves  me ma

What if I was a part of his plan too ma ??....what will I do ma ??"

"Beta it's okay.....it will be alright.....did you inform him about your pregnancy ??"

"I don't know ma , what if he doesn't want the baby??.....I don't want to endanger my baby's life !".

"But beta, he is still your husband an-"

"I'm sorry ma, I don't want to talk anything regarding it !!.....I'm already exhausted today!!"

" Okay.... that's upto you...beta !!".

" Did you have any food beta ?...."

"no ma "

" Why ?.....you shouldn't be like this beta !... you'll starve your baby!!".

As shanthi was about to leave the room, her eyes fell on a glass placed on a table.

" Juice??". She went beside it and held the glass and analysed it.

" Yes ma !..... Rocky brought it !!...but I didn't drink it !!".

" Thank God , you didn't drink the juice!..... it's pineapple!!"

" It's dangerous??". Reena questioned her.

" Yes , but for your baby!!....I'm glad that I came here soon !!".

" Yes ma , what will I have done without you ma ?".

Reena opened her arms like a baby, gesturing shanthamma to give her a hug.

She obliged her request with love , as she hugged her and cradled her face like a kid, kissing her hairs.

" I wish that I had a daughter like you beta!!".

" Why wish?.....am l not your daughter already ma ??". Reena hugged her tightly and lifted her head to face shanthamma.

" Yes you are !!....and now take rest , I'll bring the food for you !!".

Reena nodded and started to arrange her bed , removing the decorations for her to take a small nap .

Meanwhile,

" Sultan , mam had threatened us not to check the staff!!".

" So you didn't??.....you should check in person not in front of all !!"

" We are sorry Sultan!!".

" Now where is she ??.....and what about Reena??".

" Sir , I saw the staff taking food for mam in her chamber!!". Replied Ravi.

" So both if them are in the chamber!!....good , I'll meet them, until then continue checking!!".

" Yes Sultan!!".

Rocky asked his personal guards to move out and walked towards his chamber.

Once he was close, he found that the door was locked inside.

"Chinna open the door"

" I'm not your servant Rocky!....nor I will be !!.....say what you wanted and leave!!".

" I'm sure that you know why I'm here !

" Don't you trust me??

" If you still wanted to check , you have to check both of us !!.....what if I posses some danger too !!".

" Chinna!....I didn't mean it that way!!".

" Then what do you mean exactly Rocky?..... keeping me as a hostage?....what do you want??".

" Ask that yourself Reena!.....what do I want.... you'll get your answer!!".

Always the drama??

What does he think about himself?.... passing meaningless dialogues like Rishi Kapoor ( btw no offence 😅)

He should better know that these cheesy remarks won't work on me.

Shanthamma leaned to the nearby wall and listened to Rocky's voice after so many years, suppressing her tears.

Once she saw Reena retreating back she went back, and kept arranging the food for Reena .

Once Reena came beside her , she requested shanthamma to feed her and she obliged with joy to her request, and fed the food.

And the rest of the day shanthamma ordered Reena to take complete rest , since she was tired due to the journey and might stress her baby.

Rocky too wanted Reena's anger to calm down and thus didn't visit her during the day , just asking about her activities through the staff of the mansion.

After dinner Reena requested shanthamma to stay with her in the chamber though a separate room was arranged for her.

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Rocky stayed in one of the guest room present near the main chamber of the mansion, while his room was still in progress which was next to his previous chamber.

The new place felt uncomfortable for Rocky, snatching his peaceful sleep from him.

He kept twisting and turning in his bed , and as the midnight reached, his sleep was still far away from him.

And he decided to go for the last option, alcohol.

He checked the room and was lucky enough to find a bottle and gulped the whole in a single sip.

He then again went to the bed , trying his best to sleep , but now he was unaware of the arrival of another in his room.

Once few minutes passed, Rocky dreamed about kgf again, but this time it came as a nightmare.

Though he has accomplished his mission, the dream showed him that he didn't.

All the sufferings came to his eyes through his own thoughts. His mother's cries, his pain in childhood.

And Rocky started to take heavy breaths, with his night mares playing tricks on him.

But all these thoughts came to a halt as a hand held his wrist, whose touch was enough for him to calm down.

" Ma ??" Rocky talked in his sleep, while shanthamma was shocked seeing how he had recognised her with a mere touch.

" Raja !!". She held him in joy, caressing his shoulders.

As shanthamma tried her best to make him sleep again, Rocky opened his eyes, awaken from his dream.

" Ma, it's really you!!".

" Yes Raja, I've come to see you!!....you have changed so much!!".

" Ma,...Please don't leave me ma !!!...I have fulfilled your promise!!... please take me back ma !!".

The talks of the man who now own this land made her realise that her son never really changed.

Maybe he was influenced in different ways but he is still her son , and she'll change him ans unite him with her daughter in law and they'll have a happily ever after.

" Don't worry beta !....ma is always there with you !!...and soon we'll be together once again!!".

" Really ma ?".

" Yes !....and now my Raja will sleep like a good boy.... won't you ??".

" Yes ma !!...I will!!".

Shanthamma covered him with a duvet and closed the door silently .

As she was walking through the empty corridors, her thoughts went back to her son.

During all the time she talked about Rocky with Reena in the Desai mansion and the things she heard about kgf and Rocky through everyone, wasn't very comforting to be heard as a mother.

But now , certain things have changed her mind and some ideas have crossed her mind.

Maybe he was influenced in different ways but he is still her son , and she'll change him and unite him with her daughter in law and they'll have a happily ever after.

" Ahh !". shanthamma was shocked as she felt a sudden pull in her wrist, to the wall .

"Shanthi ma??".

Shanthi ma was too stunned to speak as she found that Reena had watched her being with Raja.

" Ma , are you actually Rocky's mother??"
