Reena Bhairya!!

She is my daughter in law??

Shanthi who was still puzzled reading the report, was approached by the nurse who had arrived with the admission form to fill in the details of the patient.

But shanthi was reluctant to share the details and just confirmed the name Reena and her age.

The mere idea that she might be actually her daughter in law , was good enough for shanthi to stay focused as doctors checked on Reena's health status.

Soon the doctors who checked her arrived from the room and confirmed that there were just few minor injury and confirmed that the baby is safe too.

The rest of the night passed as if it was just a few minutes as she kept thinking about his son, and the new girl , who seemed to be his wife .

To know about her further, she decided go through the other contents of her purse, only to find her driving licence.

She had known the name Desai before. She might have heard the name when her husband visited the city and realised that the girl might have belonged to a well known family in Bangalore.

But still the simple mangalsutra and the pale face didn't do justice for being grown up in such a household.

And the most important part was how she was related to Rocky. He was supposed to be concentrated on his mission and as much as she knew her son ,he wouldn't agree to such commitment without her knowledge and wishes .

And that brings more questions about who is her real husband. It could have been some other guy with the surname Bhairya.

But still she couldn't believe that she would try to end her life, especially when she is aware that she is pregnant.

Does she not want the baby?

Was it because this baby was due to some affairs??.....was she afraid due to it ??

Maybe she is my daughter in law, but the baby's is not my son's??

Shanthi's inner turmoil came to an abrupt end as the nurse knocked the door.

It was the regular morning checkup which was done by the nurse, while she kept looking at them carefully.

The nurse who noticed her behaviour, decided to ask her questions.

"Mam, are you her relative, you seemed so worried about her.!"

"She's someone I know." She replied, avoiding any further talk and the nurse left the room.

Once she locked the door, her eyes fell on Reena, who seemed to awaken from her sleep, due her conversation with the nurse.

Shanthi careesesd her forehead while Reena opened her eyes. She was bewildered to see a stranger, and was about to get up , but the soothing voice of the woman and lullaby, was too tempting to sleep.

Without thinking ahead she decided to sleep more , the medicines making it hard for her to stay awake.

About an hour later shanthi decided to wake her up , to feed her the breakfast.

Reena finally opened her eyes and looked at her surroundings and regretted it.

" Are you okay beta ?". She asked, gesturing her to have a glass of water.

" Yes !!". Reena nodded and drank the glass of water, while her palm caressed her belly.

" Don't worry dear.....the baby is safe too !!".

"Thank you for your concern, but you shouldn't have risked it , it would have been better if I had just -"

" Don't say that ...... you're going to bring a new life in this world!!....you shouldn't speak such things!!".

" But what's the use when I can't give him a proper life he deserves??

I can't make him go through the same pain I had experienced in my childhood!......a broken family!!?".

" Every child is born for their own purpose!!.....do you not want this child or -"

" No , ma !.....I want it .....but it's the father I'm worried about!!".

" Why ?.....is there any problem?"!

" Actually, he -"

" Reena !......I have finally found you!!".

Reena's broke their conversation seeing the most unlikely person to ever arrive.

" Kamal??".

" Yes !.....do you know how much you had us worried??..... your father was furious when he came to know that you had left the mansion!!".

" Don't show some fake concern!!".

" Oh , come on!!..... I've saved you by informing that you had been with me ,....you ow me for that you know!!".

What's wrong with him ?🤨

Shanthi who just watched the conversation didn't need more time to realise that she absolutely hates the presence of the man.

" Who is she ?". Kamal pointed to shanthi who bowed her head as a gesture of respect.

" You don't need to do that ma !!.....he is just one if my father's minion, who have to come to take my back to my cage!!".

Reena turned to Kamal , as he observed the room. Once she sensed that his eyes are travelling to her report, she diverted his mind.

" You can wait outside!!.....we can leave for the mansion after i complete the discharge procedures !!".

Reena had literally asked the man to just get lost with a fake smile, but somehow she missed the unhinged smirk in his face as he went out .

Her eyes fell in shanthi who was still processing the whole conversation, and seeing her confused, she went to confront her doubts.

" Beta .....is he ?"

" No ma.....he is someone I know through my dad's business!!.....the man I married is far more worse!!".

Shanthi was shocked with the words and seeing her expression, Reena softened her composure and smiled.

" We'll, maybe not worse than this guy .....but now that I think about it , there doesn't seem much difference!!".

She walked towards her and held but her hands.

" Ma,.....if you don't mind, could you come with me to the mansion!!

Shanthi was stunned with the request, but her eyes fell in her own attire and it gave a clear picture that she might not have a stable home.

" I'm sorry, I don't mean it that way...... it's been a long time since I had talked with someone who seemed to care like my mother!!....".

" I'll surely be with you beta !!".

" Thank you so much ma !!......and I also have no idea how to handle pregnancy, so I thought I could learn few things from you !!.....but don't worry,I'll arrange for all your necessities!!".

Pausing for a minute, she continued.

" But there is one problem!!.....no one should know about my baby!!....even if a single soul comes to know about it , it will become a threat to it's life and I

Reena was overjoyed as she have found someone who seemed to be kind enough to handle her through her pregnancy, the lovely lullaby was an example.

And by the end Reena reached the mansion along with shanthi ma and then she requested her dad to let shanthi ma take care of her .

By the same night, shanthi ma changed her bandages and was about to leave the room, when Reena pulled back her hand

" Something is bothering you ma ?..... what is it ?.....do you want to ask anything??".

" Nothing beta!!....take some rest rest , we'll talk about it later!!".

" No ma!....ask me now itself!!....I can't take rest of my mind keep wandering about it !!".

" Okay beta..... it's just that , I'm worried about your husband??.... don't he want the baby??".

" It's so complicated ma.....our marriage was not a love or an arranged marriage....it was done for my father's wish, without both of our concern !".

But as days passed, I fell in love with him , but he had other plans and missions before me .

I don't blame him for that , for we had gone through some weird situations.

And the reason why I'm sacred for sharing the news with him is ......he doesn't want me now !!

He once confessed that he liked me , but that have become the news of the past now !

He doesn't feel the same now..... something has been changes, but I had waited for his return eagerly to share this good news, only for him to hand divorce papers.

" His name?".

" Raja Bhairya.....but I fondly call him Rocky....but he actually belongs to the old kgf!!"

Old kgf ??

Then ..... Raja....he really is my son !!

" And I have asked my friend to make  sure to be able to go back to the states, and then I won't ever come back here !!.....I have decided to raise  my child alone".

And I'll make sure that it doesn't happen!!

Shanthi promised herself to fix her son's marriage life and get back to him as soon as possible.

"Ma see what I have here !". Reena exclaimed in joy as she cuddled the puppy in her arms

"Beta, you have to take care of yourself, don't be a kid ".

"It's okay ma, I'm tired of staying in my room, atleast by now I'll get some fresh air and sunlight.

Isn't he so cute??".

She is too pure for this world

But only someone like her will be fit to be with my son,

Someone who would want him to bring back from this darkness and to pursue happiness.

And I'm glad that he had chooses her!!

Reena carefully placed the puppy down and continued her morning walk along with shanthi ma.

" Ma I'm really scared, can you please accompany me ?..... please??".

" But , beta what will you say to your father?.....you do realise that he can't know that you are going to the hospital!!".

" That's right too .....but still I'm so nervous!.... it's going to be my first scan !....and I want atleast one person who is happy for me !!".

" You could call for your husband!!".

" And that will be the last thing I could ever think of !!..... I'm not going to get him involved this soon !!".

She knew the bitter truth and that she need to find the reason behind his actions soon, before he loses.

Reena went to the restaurant and just like she had planned, she pulled out her coat from her bag and weared it , to escape from her father's guards.

And as she was just about to leave, the whole restaurant maintained a sudden silence. Guards rushed inside the restaurant, and seemed to be moving around the place with their eyes searching.

Once it landed on Reena they went beside her table, who too noticed their reaction, tried to to keep composed and don't react much to it.

" Mam, we are asked to take you with us ?".

" And may I know who gave you that order??".

" Mam, we are to use any measures of you start to object to our request ".

" Oh!.....who had the rights to bring me this way ?......name your master!, he will surely face my father's wraith!!"

" We are extremely sorry mam!!...but we aren't allowed to name our master.....but don't worry your father is with us too !!"

Reena was puzzled as the guards informed about her father's presence.  Thus tk avoid any suspicion on her she decided to accompany the guards, hiding her reports in the coat.

" Don't touch me!!".

" Reena?......why are you here ?". Rajendra Desai stood up seeing his daughter in the throne room.

" I was with my friends in the restaurant, but these men brought me here !!".

" Who brought you here ?".

" So you didn't call for me dad ??".

" No !.....why would I?...... women are not allowed in this room !!".

" What the hell!!.....then who brought me here  ??"

Their conversation was soon broken as the door of the throne room opened, while everyone freezed seeing the new shade of Rocky.

" Rocky !!".

Reena who was still frozen to the spot was more confused as she saw Rocky advancing towards her.

But unexpectedly he started to circle her like he did before. But this time it felt awkward seeing him to that to her infront of these people.

Once he faced her again, she felt him move closer to her , clutching her coat slightly, as he spoke the words like a whisper.

" Hello wifey !!.....did you miss me??".

The sudden words and the little wink caught her off guard and before she could register in her mind that Rocky is infront of her and he had called for her , he has already began to walk away from her.

How ironic, she thought.

As Rocky sat down, everyone's focus now shifted in Rocky, who seemed to look like he had a total makeover to become the next Garuda .

Reena turned around to the side as she saw guards entering the room, while one of them went beside and talked with Rocky but his eyes remained fixed on her.

" Arey , don't you guys have any manners ?

She is your bhabhi!!.... bring her a chair!!". The guards immediately nodedd and brought her a chair.

But as people noticed, the new chair had a similar look from the throne chair. Brought as if to compliment and match the throne chair.

And everyone soon understood that , this has been planned before hand than they had expected.

But Reena had already lost her temper , and these gestures have fuelled her emotions.

" Please sit comfortably chinna!!".

That's it!

It's the last straw!!

" No !!.....What do you want Rocky?.....why have you brought me here ??".

" Business chinna!!...... business!!.... everything in the world works by business!!".

Business??......and me ?
